When I first got my vocalist 3 I had the harmonies cranked up too far as well lol! The key with this piece of equipment is to use it tastefully and not to OVER USE.
@gladiatorreal Hi There, it's an EarthFire Heatwave GA3090E, which is unfortunately warped through my mistreatment :-( It was cheap enough only about 200. It's put through my PA which has built in reverb on the guitar channel which makes it sound okay. I tend not to go mad on electro acoustics as they get wrecked gigging. Thanks for watching.
man that sounds great, i have the vocalist live 2 also. I have a problem with the guitar harmonizing. am i doing something wrong or what. it sounds great but the guitar harmonizing bothers me when i am playing. can you maybe help on this problem i have, thanks
Guitar harmonizing? Sounds like a cabling issue. Remember the guitar signal is simply passing through the device to give the chord. It should NOT be changed in any way.
I havent hooked it up for a while, but from memory you have separate inputs & outputs (2 cables in, 2 cables out) for vocal and guitar.
@ILRMS i think i figured out the problem at least it worked. i had to turn the volume way down on my Vocalists 2 and trun the PA system way up and now it seems every thing is working fine. thanks for you help.
I have a Digitech Vocalists II but I cannot seem to make it sound as you did with your demo. I lost my Users Manual soir. I can't adjust it. I wonder if you can help me get a users manual. I will appreciate for any information you can give me. Thank you Sir
Hi I have a soft copy of the manual. I will email it to you if you send me your pm me address. What problem are you having with it, I found it easy enough to set up.
Hi there, I've looked it up on the Digitech site ... the Digitech Vocalist Live 4 and Digitech Vocalist Live Pro have pitch correction, NOT the Digitech Vocalist Live 2 (the one that I have). You will see on their product pages that there is "Pitch correction with four adjustable variables" for both of these products but not the Vocalist Live 2.
So you will need to ask somebody with one of these products.

@quickmantan Hi, yeah there's a knob called harmony mix, which lets you choose yourself how strong the harmony should be.

Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for the quick reply.
When I was still very active performing as a solo artist, I usually use my vocalist II 4 voice vocoder with my sequencer.
I tested my vocalist II recently and the #10pgm 4 voice vocoder is not harmonizing like a 4 part harmony.
Only the low part is audible and seemed like #11 pgm 2 voice vocoder is much better sounding 4 parts harmony.
I just don't know what is wrong with it.
I appreciate any help Jonathan.
Thank you.
Best Regards.
