@jwilb007 I had the same problem, because I lost the original disk that came with the ups. What I had to do is find the firmware ( I don't remember from where, but I think it was a forum). After the firmware was installed I was able to use the latest power alert console software without any problem (I think you can use any version as long as you have the devices firmware).
I got them on ebay for $65 for both shipped. They were brand new and unopened, which I didn't really expect for the price. I thought there had to be a catch, but no....The units were manufactured in late 2009 and really were brand new and unopened.
What a deal. I saw your other video and was about to mod my 750. Good thing you posted this video. I will look into getting a Tripp Lite. Thanks for posting -- very helpful.

have you thought about charging your ACID battery with solaR it would in the long run save you a lot off your electric bill

@shelladavis I charge all kinds of batteries off of solar + have a grid tied inverter.
