Meccaboy0411 - Thank you for your comment. This technique is a demonstration of blending and harmonization. Yes, that would leave one open to other techniques, but in a more real situation, more focused techniques would be called for. At the initial point of attack, one my consider an eye gouge to take to opponent's mind off of the attack. It is important to remember that each martial art has rules which limit it's applicability to a "real fight" which has no rules.
but what about the right hook on front punch attack?
idk not talking crap it just seems that when he is spun around the opponent seems to be able to easily give a potentially powerful punch to the face. i would like to learn this style but before i start to learn i want to know how effective it is.
i would appreciate feed back and possible suggestions of other martial arts so far i really enjoy tai Kwan do ninjitsu Capoeira and kung fu idk the spelling and i dont take classes i learn from people
Thank you very much for sharing your observation. The attack is ryotetori and if you look closely at the slow motion portion of the video, uke has already started coming toward me by the time my movement begins. This is the lead that is referred to in my first video.

I'm a new Aikido student too. Perhaps, this is really helpful. At least I know a few technique here.

I know timing is important! For the first Koyu, you move before the opponent too soon, the Uke must know it before you! Need more good timing
