I dreaded painting my doomwheel but thanks to your guide, its going great! Your step by step guide is very friendly and clear, easy to understand and i thank you good sir for taking the time to make this video of epicness. I have'nt checked your other videos yet but if you have one on a screaming bell, i shall be checking that out next. keep up the great work man =)
@Cr0sis Thank you! I really appreciate the kind feedback =D
I haven't done a screaming bell yet, I was planning on doing a how to magnetize video so people could use both a screaming bell and plague furnace, but it got stuck in the planning phase because I wasn't sure how to work all of the different pieces together. I'd like to go back to it soon, though, if I can =D
@MrTayovideo07 I paint the skin of the skaven with Tallarn Flesh, washed with Ogryn Flesh, and highlighted back up with Tallarn Flesh mixed with some Dheneb Stone. =D
you sound like jared from Storage Wars with that intro. Nice model and painting. Banner is mint. Thanks for posting Playa. Splatton sent me over. Cheers.
@GunBeryl ha! I love Storage Wars! Thanks for watching and commenting, I was really afraid that the banner would come out looking like rubbish, so when it all came together I was pretty shocked and really happy. Thanks for watching, playah! I haven't gotten into Flames of War (yet), but I enjoy watching all your video coverage of the game =D
@Bluecloudandrew Thanks! I'm always learning new tips and techniques, and really enjoy sharing what I've learned to others. Thanks again for the kind words!
Brilliant resource guide for a getting a doomwheel done. I can see why you love the finished model, I'd be delighted with it too. Very realistic and looks like its already been through several campaigns.
Superb video, time just flew by while I was engrossed. Great weathering and filth, especially like the periscope lens and the warpstone fragments.
@Lostsoul1889 Yaaay! Thank you for spending the time watching the video =D I hope that it will be a helpful resource to any buding Skaven generals out there.
Wow what a ride! =) But the time and effort on this amazing model is more than well spend imho. It's just like a real life Doomwheel has been shrunk to table top game size!
@bazZy33K thank you for the kind words! It really means a lot to me that my hard work can be paid off when I look at the finished model. Thank you for watching and for commenting! =D
very nice, master ikit will be pleased pleased;) I was dreading painting my doomwheels up, they are semi put together and primed like you had yours. Ill have to give them a shot at the paint station soon now, thanks tae.
@hoffy200 thank you! Haha, I strive only for excellence when work-working for my evil masters! Definitely, painting them in sub-assemblies made the job a lot more bearable for me. And it looks so great when you're done!
