  • How do you unlock all the special characters in this game.

  • How do you unlock this stage???

  • dammit i want to know what they are saying ><

  • @0zK4R17 words i think

  • Looks like poor Unlosing Ranger finally died for good...

  • So my question is, What abilities does he come with? since you gain so many just from equipment.. Dooes he come with. Unlosing Fist, Power of Love and the like.?

  • @BurstBlade I just got the unlosing ranger at level 1. So far, he has unlosing punch.

  • @BurstBlade

The only unique attack he has is Unlosing Fist.

  • yay its the unlosing ranger XD

  • Aw. Seems Unlosing Ranger never catches a break-damm that was a pummling, bot in and out of battle. And his face shot(the one time you see it) is so sad...

  • It's going to be released in North America with the name of Phantom Brave: Heroes of Hermuda Triangle.

BTW Z.H.P is great game! Is this part where you fight the Unlosing Ranger already included in the game or is a DLC or something?

  • @TheNeoHack It's naturally in the game, no dlc needed. And yes, ZHP is a great game.

  • @udongasuki Alright, thanks for the info. can´t to get this game when it comes in English next year!

  • I was thinking of downloading the game because I don't think it will be released over here...unless someone plans on doing a translation.

  • @1Sandwitch1 Why download a japanese game? You won't understand it anyhow, no fun in that.

  • @Jiyaijo Wow you don't understand anything. First of all I've beaten the game several times on the ps2. So I know about the story, and I memorized alot of items and weapon names. So I know what I am doing. Second of all if the chances of them releasing it over here is slim then I most likely would download it, because I'll be damned if I'm not going to be neglected. Why would I let the companies win by allowing them to be selfish enough to keep it from being played over here?

  • @1Sandwitch1 That's interesting. I didn't know this game came out on the PS2 before, which gives me hope on a new matter: If this game has been re-released from the PS2 for the PSP, then that means that more PS2 games could be re-released on the PSP. That gives hope, for the fact that I'd love to play FFX, Kingdom Hearts and God of War I & II for the PSP as well! That would be awesome.

  • Starting with, there's a pseudo passive translation going on for Phantom Brave (not a localization of the game), and FFX will not be ported to PSP (FFVII and 8 only got PS1 equivalent ports), a prequel to Kingdom Hearts is on PSP (quite fun honestly), and there are God of War games for PSP, but I have no idea what they're like.

  • @udongasuki I already knew that there is a KH game and two great God of War games for the PSP, but how do you know that FFX won't be ported to the PSP? It may just happen later on. Also FF7 - 8 & 9 have already been ported to the PSP, so there is a chance for 10 as well!

  • @Jiyaijo Eh, FFX is a PS2 game with like, 4gb worth of content, FF789 were easy ports, just convert one file and that's it almost, Phantom Brave only fit on PSP because for all that matters, it's very non-graphic or powerheavy game by any means. Not to mention it was only like a CD's worth of contents originally. The reason for ports is sometimes to refresh a franchise in some way, but moreso because it's easy.. FFX would need to be remade from near-scratch with completely different graphics.

  • @udongasuki Wrong. The PS2 graphics were mostly full with FMV cutscenes, while the PSP handles CGI cutscenes easily. Ever seen those beautiful graphics of games like Crisis Core and God of War? They're more beautifull than FFX, which has good graphics for its time, but not anymore for the PSP! It could easily be on the PSP

  • @Jiyaijo These games were practically written from scratch, optimized from the beginning to work best with the PSP's specs. MGS:PW and Monster Hunter are games that look really good on the PSP too, all reworked from near scratch to best utilize the PSP's capabilities. FMVs have never been an issue on a console, as they can be simple videos, no on-the-fly rendering necessary. It'd need incredible optimization. It's not just the characters, it's the fully rendered environment too that does it.

  • @udongasuki You obviously didn't read my comment. One more time; ever seen the beautiful graphics at games like Crisis Core, God of War? Especially God of War has the great enivronment you're talking about. If it's about the controls you worry about considering the second analog stick, the PSX had it too, yet FF7, 8 & 9 easily were ported to the PSP. The PS2 FFX is no problem to be ported, or re-released for the PSP as well. You should understand this by now.

  • @udongasuki

ehh? im pretty sure a ps2 disk can't fit 4gb, stil the only thing holding them back from making a ffx port is not enoff space seeing as nobody's willing to make a game that has more then one umd.(which is a same becuse that's the only thing holding back a persona 4 portable version as well)

  • @deviltetsuo555 I'm pretty sure a significant portion of PS2 games were released on DVD discs, after a brief search I'm seeing that average filesize for FFX is 3.8gb. And UMD doesn't limit anyone with the recent passion for Digital Downloads. I doubt that's halting a P4P as well, seeing as they went through the significant efforts of porting P3F into P3P (after downsizing the visuals). Not saying it'd be impossible to port, just that it would require a surprising amount of work on the matter.

  • any idea of the us release?

  • As if I needed a reason to buy this.

I can't wait for this to get here.
