Everybody has their mistakes. Lin Dan's mistakes is a way of disguising his ability from others. His potential is too high and hard for us to anticipate. Maybe he wasnt put in all his ability in his rallies. All rallies seems easy for him.

We discovered Lin Dan's weakness during a point! The rally from 8:05 where Lin Dan was diving to recover the shuttle, if Lee Chong Wei placed it well inside the line there would have been no way for Lin Dan to get it.

It was a shock for Lin Dan because he knew that there was a shuttle he couldn't get.His game is based on controlling the opponent and attack whenever he sees an opening but actually there he lost control of the rally, and we can see him losing focus after that rally.
