@OriginalBlkGoat not all these trucks had that frame around the glass , I think it was specific to the custom cab , from the books the glass shows to be the same and you simply transfer the frame (use the cork tape ) or if you want to delete the frame , just use straight glass , and use the glass and division bar channels for the unframed glass it's all really cheap , I can send you links to buy everything if you want
I have to do all the same work on a 70 c-10 I just bought. Am assuming it's all pretty much the same-o, same-o for those model years as well. Thanks for posting this video,,, very, very instructional and helpful.
I don't know where you are, but you give me inspiration. My truck is a 1961 chevrolet Apache 10 and I will be replacing all seals everywhere eventually. Thank you for uploading instructional videos.
@towrecker Excellant. Will you have one on replacing the vent window latch? The latches were both broke when I bought my truck from owning uncle and he didn't care. I know how to get the vent window out but have no idea what the proper latch looks like. I almost bought some of ebay but they didn't look quite right and I insist on the correct replacement equipment when I can get it.
@whiteribbonman1 if the stud is gone , you are going to have to replace the whole vent wing frame , if the stud is still there the handle just pushes on , and has a roll pin that goes through it , and catches in the grove in the stud , I have one handle broken , and have a replacement , just haven't done it yet , but when I do I will video it
@towrecker THANK YOU SO MUCH for the instructions!! BIG HELP!! The stud is still there, at least I think what you mean by stud is the thing sticking out of the window at the bottom. I'll go looking for those vent latches I turned away and buy them. I will stay alert for your videos. :)
i got a 63' chev. I know I gotta take out the vent wing to replace my window. But do I gotta take out everything else along with it too. It has new felt and everything.
@MrBlueroads your truck is exactly the same , only diff is the shape of the door glass , and the vent wing ...and the door pannel is a bit diff , the inner workings are exactly the same , even screw placement lol
great video, everybody seems to have drunk neighbors huh! this video can apply to alot of vehicles. keep in mind that as long as you are making videos most of us are going to always watch them!
@EricTehRedneck I know , I found a loophole :) thats all I will say , I think I am here to stay , but I am going to upload everything to "weedsandrust" till sure , kinda as a safe keeping lol
If you have the old window with the frame, do you have to put the frame on the new window?!

@clark07ish just to get the window out , all you have to take out is the vent window / division channel , and you can just pull it out ...
