In OoT, link is a real pimp. He marries a Zora girl, gets with Zelda, pimps out his best friend Saria, pedos it out with the Gerudo chick, and jacks off to Impa. In Skyward Sword, if you play your cards right, you can get the Item check girl, Zelda and Karane all together. Plus you get to sleep every chick's bed along the way, even of the married ones. The legend of Link, ultimate pimp.
Poor Link, even when Zelda isn't a princess, he doesn't get a kiss, or even a hug... do they ever show deeper affection towards each other in this game?
I feel like that this game has made Princess Zelda look the most beautiful. She's not so stern, looking, like in Twilight Princess, and she isn't all that sophisticated, like when Tetra awakened in Wind Waker

Why do people always complain about stuff without thinking about it. Link is left handed yes but not in the wii games, because most people are right handed duh -_- Theres no romance in the game because like people said before the player will give link his own personality. which is why he doesnt talk.

I think it was really harsh of Nintendo to hype us all up with this trailer, because the romance in this game was very watery. Yes there are mild hints here and there, but not enough to satiate our desires. I honestly thought they were going to kiss at some point, I mean they looked like they were going to in the trailer. But no the best we got was an awkward sort of hug. Also we never find out what Zelda was going to tell Link! That is just disgustingly horrible Nintendo!!

Now, for my opinion, love is present between the two of them.
At the end of the game, Zelda says to Link she always want to see the world under the clouds and she wants to live here watching over the Triforce. When asking Link about his intentions for the future, he replies with a smile as their Loftwings depart to the sky together implying he decides to stay at her side, obviously not as "BFF forever", but as lovers obviously.
Ok at the end, they don't really kiss, but you can kinda see that they are together with some hints here and there, like near the end, Link brings Zelda back from somewhere I won't reveal, and they're holding each other with their hands.
Ive almost beaten the game and this is the best Zelda game i have ever played :DDDDDD
They did a good job with the characters and the controls, I love using the sword because i feel like Link! Now time to beat the living hell out of Ghiriham and Demise >:)
*SPOILERS* It is not necessary a kiss scene to know that at the end, they finished together. Zelda said she wanna stay in the Farone Woods and she asked Link what he's going to do. He just smiled and we can see their birds (Sorry, I don't the name of the birds in english) flying away back to Skyloft without them. I understand that they stayed together and began a new life =)

I personally believe that Nintendo didn't put in any romance because they want us, their audience, to put it there ourselves. Thats the beauty of it, you get to decide what happens after the camera cuts away. Or you could read fanfiction, thats another alternative.
I was honestly anticipating something to happen between them. As soon as I finished the game, I ran to FF .net as fast as I could to read away my frustration. Not disappointed with the ending, but Nintendo teased us too much >:'C
@gengargangrape They can save themselves if spoiling is all they wanna do. But very often people wanna talk about some has happened in the game. If you already knows what's happening, it's hard to to not talk about. That's probably why people do it.
the storyline of this game is depicted beautifully. its my frist time playing a zelda game where i actually think of link as a person. in all of the other ones that ive played, i just thought of link as who im playing as.

Link was a player in every other game. Most of the main characters in every game are female's except for Link of course. OOT was ridiculous. Link had Saria, Malon, Princess Ruto, and even that one spirit temple sage said "If only I had known you were going to grow up to be such a handsome young man." Finally Link and Zelda get to know each other and it seems like their about to hit it off and a tornado hits? You've gotta be kidding me!
The next Zelda game should be a direct sequel to Skyward Sword (as in having the same Link and Zelda.) And there needs to be a kiss at the end. Skyward Sword was leading up to something like that and I was kinda disappointed when it didn't happen.

Umm can anyone please explain how Is this a prequel to ocarina of time? I know it all shows that this is a prequel the hyule crest etc but.... I think there is a mistake in ocarina link stars out as a small boy THEN grows bigger after he is chosen and stuff... So in skywards sword Link shoulve been smaller or in ocarina link shoulve started as the teenage one explain pls I need to know the right story :P
@kingkhaloof It is a prequal to ocarina of time but its not really based on the same storyline. nintendo is making all new adventures but with almost the same storyline. Link doesnt have to be smaller in this because its a prequel. just like any other zelda game with toon link. in other words. Its not completelt based from ocarina of time its just showng the origion of the master sword and how they got the tunic and such. hope that helps.
@kingkhaloof The story that takes place on Skyward Sword takes place 100s of years before Ocarina of Time,...so as you can guess by now this Link isn't the same as the Ocarina of Time, therefore being a teenager has nothing to do with Link starting as a young boy on Ocarina of Time, Link in Ocarina of Time starts his adventure as a boy, but he was young to wield the Master Sword so his body its sealed for 7 years and I think this game explains why.... :) hope this helps....
@kingkhaloof *Spoilers* Skyward Sword was the beggining of Hyrule, the Link in Ocarina of Time was born AFTER Hyrule was created, so Skyward Sword would precede Ocarina of Time.
The end of the game definitely foreshadows a relationship between Link and Zelda as the both eventually founded Hyrule together and we can tell that the Hyrule Crest is designed after the Crimson Loftwing , hopefully next game there's a kiss or even a peck on the cheek.
However, we can assume Link stays with Zelda in the end, because he watches their birds return to the sky. The Hylian symbol (besides the triforce, which Link also has in this game) is a red bird, implying that this Link was the first king of Hyrule because it is there to represent his Crimson Loftwing.
ALSO, in Zelda 2, I think it is said that the king of Hyrule has the entire triforce. In Skyward Sword, Link is the one who ALSO gets the entire triforce.
I know Nintendo didn't really make any "canon" romance with Zelda in this game because some people would get upset. I actually never really cared for romance in Zelda games, but Link and Zelda's relationship in this game makes me actually want them together.
I thought the ending was pretty depressing actually even though it's pretty obvious Link and Zelda settled down and did get together it just seemed sad that they left everyone behind. :-(
Honestly as cute as it would have been to see them hook up I can't see Nintendo going down that route, I think they'd much rather imply a relationship than actually go through with it.
This was just so upsetting. After I beat Demise I was so excited to see some hardcore romance action for the first time in a Zelda game, only to find out nothing happens.
I was so frustrated, confused, and angry at the same time. i actually had to turn the game off and walk around my town for a good hour to work off the frustration and disappointment.
why would you mess with us like that Nintendo? You fooled all of us into thinking something was gonna go down with this trailer. how could you?

Plus, no need to show it to understand that Link and Zelda end up together in the end. Their two loftwings fly back to Skyloft without them, giving you a hint that those lovers will probably fund the future Kingdom of Hyrule. ;)

Still, I agree, a proper hug or an intimate moment was necessary, especially since this trailer got us all going up walls. Its not good enough to know that they will stay together in the end, for me at least.
@PredatorFilmsInc I personally liked the ending (felt like a conclusion, yet, felt open ended at the same time). But Link and Zelda seemed to be great friends in this game. I would have at least see a little more contact. Emotions can be shown in many ways. Hell, my favorite show of all time only screens the main couple holding hands (sex is mentioned, but not screened). I would have liked to see that emotion integrated into their body as well as their dialogue.

Damn it! After seeing this video earlier this year I thought the creators were finally going to have Zelda and Link kiss or at the very least have a special moment but NO! I guess I was expecting too much. :( This part dissapoints me but the game was still fun and excellent. You do however get to be a lot more involved with other characters and their actions which was cool though. It will always be my second favorite Zelda game after Ocarina of Time.

I personally believe that Nintendo didn't put in any romance because they want us, their audience, to put it there ourselves. Thats the beauty of it, you get to decide what happens after the camera cuts away. Or you could read fanfiction, thats another alternative.

I was honestly anticipating something to happen between them. As soon as I finished the game, I ran to FF .net as fast as I could to read away my frustration. Not disappointed with the ending, but Nintendo teased us too much >:'C

the storyline of this game is depicted beautifully. its my frist time playing a zelda game where i actually think of link as a person. in all of the other ones that ive played, i just thought of link as who im playing as.

seriously, i been playin the game and i gotta say it is awesome but one giant cock block for link. When they flyin on the birds (seperate, not her with harp) She says she wanted to talk to you about somethin and you know she gonna say what we all know, then she gets taken by a dark whirlwind (damn you Alan Wake). Then he gotta find her again and again. Why does he never catch a break?

@bubblidreamz but it does add imersion and beauty to the game, one very offputting thing about this trailer is the jagged edges everywhere, and the art style would have looked better on a more powerful system.

Link was a player in every other game. Most of the main characters in every game are female's except for Link of course. OOT was ridiculous. Link had Saria, Malon, Princess Ruto, and even that one spirit temple sage said "If only I had known you were going to grow up to be such a handsome young man." Finally Link and Zelda get to know each other and it seems like their about to hit it off and a tornado hits? You've gotta be kidding me!

The next Zelda game should be a direct sequel to Skyward Sword (as in having the same Link and Zelda.) And there needs to be a kiss at the end. Skyward Sword was leading up to something like that and I was kinda disappointed when it didn't happen.

@xXNeOnXToRnAdoXx haha if you have a wii you should totally play it...this game changes the way someone thinks about the game..in a good way (Unless you are a HD game hardcore player xP, but then why even been here? just to troll?)...it has a deeper story, explains many things, it gives player the feeling to really want Zelda since she isn't a princess, but Link's childhood friend and maybe something more,..also they gave Zelda an important role that affects the entire series

Umm can anyone please explain how Is this a prequel to ocarina of time? I know it all shows that this is a prequel the hyule crest etc but.... I think there is a mistake in ocarina link stars out as a small boy THEN grows bigger after he is chosen and stuff... So in skywards sword Link shoulve been smaller or in ocarina link shoulve started as the teenage one explain pls I need to know the right story :P

@kingkhaloof It is a prequal to ocarina of time but its not really based on the same storyline. nintendo is making all new adventures but with almost the same storyline. Link doesnt have to be smaller in this because its a prequel. just like any other zelda game with toon link. in other words. Its not completelt based from ocarina of time its just showng the origion of the master sword and how they got the tunic and such. hope that helps.

@kingkhaloof The story that takes place on Skyward Sword takes place 100s of years before Ocarina of Time,...so as you can guess by now this Link isn't the same as the Ocarina of Time, therefore being a teenager has nothing to do with Link starting as a young boy on Ocarina of Time, Link in Ocarina of Time starts his adventure as a boy, but he was young to wield the Master Sword so his body its sealed for 7 years and I think this game explains why.... :) hope this helps....

The end of the game definitely foreshadows a relationship between Link and Zelda as the both eventually founded Hyrule together and we can tell that the Hyrule Crest is designed after the Crimson Loftwing , hopefully next game there's a kiss or even a peck on the cheek.

However, we can assume Link stays with Zelda in the end, because he watches their birds return to the sky. The Hylian symbol (besides the triforce, which Link also has in this game) is a red bird, implying that this Link was the first king of Hyrule because it is there to represent his Crimson Loftwing.
ALSO, in Zelda 2, I think it is said that the king of Hyrule has the entire triforce. In Skyward Sword, Link is the one who ALSO gets the entire triforce.

I thought the ending was pretty depressing actually even though it's pretty obvious Link and Zelda settled down and did get together it just seemed sad that they left everyone behind. :-(
Honestly as cute as it would have been to see them hook up I can't see Nintendo going down that route, I think they'd much rather imply a relationship than actually go through with it.

This was just so upsetting. After I beat Demise I was so excited to see some hardcore romance action for the first time in a Zelda game, only to find out nothing happens.
I was so frustrated, confused, and angry at the same time. i actually had to turn the game off and walk around my town for a good hour to work off the frustration and disappointment.
why would you mess with us like that Nintendo? You fooled all of us into thinking something was gonna go down with this trailer. how could you?

Not showing this moment makes you all crave for it, that's the beauty of it. :D
Plus, no need to show it to understand that Link and Zelda end up together in the end. Their two loftwings fly back to Skyloft without them, giving you a hint that those lovers will probably fund the future Kingdom of Hyrule. ;)

Still, I agree, a proper hug or an intimate moment was necessary, especially since this trailer got us all going up walls. Its not good enough to know that they will stay together in the end, for me at least.

@PredatorFilmsInc I personally liked the ending (felt like a conclusion, yet, felt open ended at the same time). But Link and Zelda seemed to be great friends in this game. I would have at least see a little more contact. Emotions can be shown in many ways. Hell, my favorite show of all time only screens the main couple holding hands (sex is mentioned, but not screened). I would have liked to see that emotion integrated into their body as well as their dialogue.

Damn it! After seeing this video earlier this year I thought the creators were finally going to have Zelda and Link kiss or at the very least have a special moment but NO! I guess I was expecting too much. :( This part dissapoints me but the game was still fun and excellent. You do however get to be a lot more involved with other characters and their actions which was cool though. It will always be my second favorite Zelda game after Ocarina of Time.
