  • Well fed rebs? Once again the underwhelming thought process of the less than criticle critic. I wish someone would explain to me how stating the obvious (that reenacters are real people who are well fed members of the land of plenty) somehow think that when they put on their wool they should somehow immediately become pale and gaunt. Give it a rest it is neither funny nor a well thought out premise. Save your brain power for a more meaningful pursuit ie. how can I get my garbage to the curb

  • @ke4bss Truly undignified and useless I truly hope you are smarter than your comment or you are at least cared for by assisted living professionals.

  • Cool my company!!! I hope to return to you guys once I am out of law school and back in the state. As usual Captain you have the boys firing the best volleys in reenacting!!!

  • Loved it. I miss the rebel yell. I managed to get my uniform done in sizes from the period, seeing as i am 6ft and skinny as a stick i look a bit weird but i dont care becuase it makes it more realistic including the tears and holes.I want to go back out into the field now lol. Good video 5*s.

  • huh... weird i didn't recognize anyone in that vid... prolly cause its from a year ago but yea the whole stonewall brigade and the Iron brigade is gonna be there this year come out n see it...

  • "Marion Rifles" Company A, 5th Va. Raised in Frederick County, organized October 1859. Formerly Company C, 31st Regt (Frederick County) Va Militia. Enrolled April 18th, 1861, for one year, mustered into service on July 29th, 1861. Captains: John H.S Funk (to LT.Col) April 21st, 1862. Captains, Louis Fletcher and Marshall Smith Brown.

  • LOL

  • I understand what you mean.

  • The 27th Virginia captured many flags during the Civil War. They captured the first Union regimental flag in the east at 1st Manassas (1st Michigan Infantry). At 2nd Manassas they captured the 18th Massachusetts flag. Best brigade in the entire South.

  • I was their for my birthday! It was great! Thank you 27th! I'm a reenactor to for the 9th Va

  • Always wanted to wear the Union blue.

  • Actually, that's beautiful South Mountain, Washington County Maryland.

  • Gosh I miss weekends where you can go see re-enactments like this. They don't do them, out here in WI, like they do back in my home state of VA (born and raised just east of Leesburg). Oh, and the guns were great, but I couldn't keep my eyes off the beautiful Virginia mountain range in the background. Now I'm homesick. :-(

  • Nice,

I wish we had that many Reb's in one state here in Australia.

    Keep the faith,
