  • Thanks for the upload.

Most of the SW 80's trailers I've seen to date were really poor quality 25year+ old vhs transfers, so this upload looks great by comparison!

  • haha i have that

  • id make my rancor rape jabba the hut

  • i would have not played with this. only for rotten children

  • Man I was born waaaay to late I want one of those!

  • Poor Yoda has been stuck in the belly of my Rancor since 1984.

  • HOLY CRAP!I have one of those....great detail.....but to many mess-ups....

  • I had one of these but the arm broke off

  • I was all about He-Man when I was a child, HOWEVER, I did have a few toys from other lines, in this case Klaatu and the Rancor were the only Star Wars toys that I had; I wish I still had it though; the Rancor was awesome!

  • The Accessories always cost more then the figures themselves =(

  • my computer wont let me watch this cuz its kinda slow today

  • rancors r awsome!especialy bull rancors!

i only got the rancor because it was given to me

  • Oh man I loooove these old commercials!! Thanks for uploading it! :)

  • Got this back in the early 80s from my grandfather. Had the choice between rancor and a B-wing and for some reason I decided to get the rancor. Still have it.

  • that were really good toys today you just get toxic crap made in ch*na, to get something as good as this, you have to pay a lot of money

  • @Messerschmitt262a2a I'm pretty sure those toys in the commercial were made in China too

  • Man toys were epic back then now if it does not have a T.V show or crapy trading cards kids dont want it.

  • i remember laughing during the film when the rancor keeper cried.

  • tony jay =)

  • my little cousin has that toy

  • lmao

  • The voice over sounds like megabyte from that old 90s cartoon Reboot. I'll bet its the same guy!

  • I have this one, but not the battle rancor.

  • how rare are those toys of tyhe rancor? i would really like one fo my collection.

  • 2 dollars lol

  • thats two pounds, not two dollars

  • ooh thats punds...ooh how much is two pounds?

  • About 4 bucks

  • Man -

This is the second SW OT toy commercial I've seen in as many minutes where the original issue had a feature that the removed for the re-release years later (the Rancor's jaw doesn't move on the new one). The other was the Y-Wing fighter with the little gun thing.

  • I also have the rancor. Great ad.

  • I had that! I didn't have a lot of Star Wars toys when I was a kid. I forgot about that thing. The stick wouldn't ever stay in his mouth. That fat green guard too. His axe wouldn't ever stay straight. It was always angled to the inside. Our toys sucked then, but we had to use our imaginations. That's why our generation creates all of the video games for teenagers that will grow up to have no imaginations at all. They never have to entertain themselves. It's all spoon fed.

  • all i can say is thank god we have video games now

  • haha! amen brother!

  • I can just see some kid from the sixtys sitting on his ass for hours while moving the rancors arm up and down and weeping lol

  • lolz.

  • Uhhhh the sixties???

  • why not.

  • 1980's and I didn't weep. I giggled. :)

  • my bad i meant 80s. I wasn't alive then and wasn't really thinking about exactly when star wars came out. oopsie

  • agreed!

  • ...must buy.. PSYCHE!! that must'av been the worst ad ever! where r u gonna get all the terrain n' stuff anyway. if i would buy that i would end up using my sofa as terrain...(whats wrong about the sofa?) ITS BLUE!! (n' not like the desert sand lol)

  • No.

  • LOL!!!!!!

  • EL Rancor fue lanzado en méxico por la compañia lili ledy

  • me recuerdo bien de este comercial aun conservo mi rancor
