  • nice

  • I am from Ontario, Canada. I do refinish drums but most of my kits are custom orders built from scratch.

  • hey you from ontario california? do you make your own drums? or refinish them

  • bonham!

  • Amazing drums, 26x18 bass drums are brilliant!

  • How do you tune all your drums?

  • With a drum key!

..but seriously, for toms i tune the top heads first, medium tight and then the bottoms a little higher. 2 ply on top and 1 ply on the bottom. for a floor tom sometimes i put the bottom head tuned lower than the top, you lose volume but mics love it.

for a snare i tune the top head medium, you can push down in the middle of the drum about half an inch. the bottom head is tuned lower to get that "clangggg" sound or tighter to get more of a crisp thing.

  • 0:23 i c wut u did ther.

  • I make the wood hoops so that they are the same height as regular steel hoops on smaller drums. 14" drums and bigger i let them get a tad taller but its less of a deal cause the diameter is bigger. you can see the hoops on the 13 tom are quite low but the 16 is a little higher.

  • how do you find the claw style wood hoops? I'm thinking of getting some on my new kit.. Do you find the hoops too high?

    Sounding good by the way!
