The reason they have bigger tyres is to spread the load better by increasing the surface area the weight of the vehicle is distributed over.

I am 100% sure that a humvee couldnt replicate the stunts these guys are pulling, otherwise all tractors would be designed like a humvee. The humvee would sink due to such a low surface area in contact with the ground. Of course you could let down the tyres to a few PSI to help with this but it wouldnt be enough.

A toyota would have to have high rpms, and spinning tires to get through all that mud, but a hummer (not h2, or h3 cause those are crap...) can have a wide footprint, by deflating tires and enough torque that it would just crawl trough the mud, instead of digging itself deeper.
