Robbery in Progress La Cala near Fuengirola, Spain

• had a reply from the British Embassy in Spain, they say i should have gone to the police station, regardless as to whether they speak English or not - reading between the lines I don’t think they wont to rock the boat and spoil their nice little cushie posting and the parties they go to, after all we are only English holiday makers getting robbed. silly really, our fault getting in the way and complaining, I won’t be going back to Spain to cause any more problems for our embassy.

• I have now received two letters from the Spanish Embassy, the first one to say they have received my complaint and are making enquiries in Spain.

second one, my complaint printed in Spanish to the police in La Cala ,the gist of this letter is why the police did nothing to make sure I was ok and why no info was taken ie name. my MP has now got involved and is pursuing this as well
