  • yeah that was back when my camera didnt have very much space so i was limited haha. but thank you, i have alot of respect for national geographic filmers, thats hard keeping it stedy while swimming lol

  • did u use a water proof camera or stick it in a ziplock bag or what?

  • yeh... obviously but they dont sell em as pets ther illegal

  • no way, snappers are only found in north and part of central america. unless theres some freak introduced population, which i doubt

  • there are released snappers in the UK. Whether they're populating or not idk

  • ??? noooo in uk they do have snappers and tthey also do live in uk aswell but i think ther illegal to keep as pets but they do have em

  • wait.. are you saying snappers live in the wild in the uk??

  • Hey guys I live in the UK and many moons ago I spent a summer in NY and Boston, I went fishing up in Boston and I saw loads of turtles on the banks of a small lake. Great to see as we don't get them in the uk, I think a few people have released their pets in a couple of lakes over here but thats about it, not native.

  • your awesome! I want to find turtles and make videos of them. I've see a turtle along a road near a pond once with my friend and looked hurt so we made sure no one would hit him/her im not sure what kind it was but it looked like a snapper and im in NY btw any clue?

  • lol thanks, but that could very well be a common snapping turtle. theyre found all the way up in southern parts of canada

  • You are a professional turtle hunter in my book!Too bad I NEVER see one anymore! Is Colorado a "LOST CAUSE?" Snappers and softshells are THE coolest turtles.

  • lol thanks but im really still an amature. depnds on where in colorado youre looking, ive heard that theres a good deal of prarie rattlesnakes and such but as far as aquatic turtles im really not too sure

  • wow where do u find these little guys

  • found this one just crawlin her way across the bottom.

  • weeeeeeeeee turtlefun, but do not anger them, or else thou shalt feel their turtly wrath of DOOM

  • well the best place i can say to go is huzzah valley in steeleville, its loaded. stinkies can usually be found right up on the bank under and in deep vegetation. i can usually find maps around or under root wads. i live in st. charles by the way , and yes it does suck herping around here, damn suburban sprawl..

  • thanks but yeah man i love snappers, we got him on a float trip along with 36 others including softshells, red eareds, common maps.
