i dont know who would win in a fight between greed with his shield on and bradley with his eye patch off, both are awesome fighters. greed took down the army in the elevator after his fight against wrath. wrath would have easliy kill scar full heal even scar says it and nearly took down the flame alchemist but let him live to see father. he even fought a bullet in the shoulder lost his eye and still is too powerful and fast. i would like to see that fight but would you fight wrath with a sword?

Can someone explain to me why Greed won't use full armor? He's the ultimate shield and Bradley the ultimate sword. Not going full armor is the equivalent of knight going into a battle with a tower shield and his underwear.

I think the old series portrayed them better. In some instance al hits greed with transmuted spear like projectiles from all sides, and nothing works.....he instantly changes to the carbon form.

If memory serves that shielding process isn't very slow atleast in other instances it takes like a second for him to shield his body. So the wrath comes in lets say 1sec, his first few shots were guarded by greed. and then a center shot in chest with a sword. By then atleast 2-3 seconds have elapsed +1sec to get to him. Now thats 'ultimate speed' with 'ultimate eyes'. and then I have no problem. but without that speed, its b.s !
@MichToJoshya King Bradley has the deadly speed and ultimate reflex that you mentioned. If you watched the later episode where King Bradley explained how he escape from his assassination. He literally using the falling wreckage of the railway and debris as his stepping stone to escape to his safety. Furthermore, if you watched his fight with old man Fuu. King Bradley able to exploit a few seconds of loop hole where the Fuu wiping out the blood on his face before deal a deadly blow to Fuu.
@MichToJoshya Greed really cannot regenerate himself and form the shield in the same time. This is the weakness that Edward that exploited when facing him in the fight earlier in this episode. Plus, his shield forming is not as fast as you think. He always took more than 4 or 5 seconds to form shield around his whole body. Now with he facing the enemy as agile as King Bradley plus in critically injured condition, I could say that he stood no chance at all in this fight.

I had watched anime for about 5 years before I watched brotherhood. I was starting to get a little tired of anime, I thought I had seen anything. that was...untill I saw King Bradley...
Aw no! Greed! No matter how many times I watch this, I wish it never happened. The fight is cool, and you find out about Bradley, but still. I feel bad for Greed and the Chimera.
yep that bit from 4:30 - 4:50 is definitely a more fitting style of battle [fast and furious] to a character like bradley. Don't get me wrong, I love dragon ball Z, but i just think the whole talking, barely moving, ultra power out of nowhere thing doesn't fit for all situations or characters.

@orgixvi3 He prob can't harden himself till his fully regen and such. And I don't think fully hardening himself would have helped him. Kings eye can prob see any weak spot on his armor to atk, and his sword can be alchemy made to be harder then greeds body. He cuts through metal, bullets, tanks ect like nothing and the only thing that ever broke his sword was scars alchemy breakdown. Greed was fcked as soon as the King showed up after him.

I think it's ironic that Greed got his ass kicked here, but later the second Greed is able to hold his own (just about), thanks to Ling's reflexes, where Greed is basically sharing his body.
Let me just reiterate that, Greed learns to share (evolving beyond his basic traits) in order to take on Wrath.
King Bradley never got hurt till the end of the series (because he got sucker punched by buccaner) and even then he could put a hell of a fight against scar

@killawind1287 well remember greed didn't even know who wrath was. If I'm correct wrath was created based off of the anger that father held towards greed for abandoning the group, so greed was gone before wrath was even born. Guess it's kinda fitting that wrath ended up bringing greed back.

@OrquestaSonDelPuerto Can't really blame you for not liking him in the first series. He didn't even do all that much in that version. All attention went to Envy and Lust, and later to Wrath (the annoying one).
What I like about Brotherhood is that every single homunculus has their purpose and they get nice amount of screen time. And of course they live up to their sins perfectly.
I like how Wraths real skill is awareness. And I don't think they bothered to make Greed go full armor because I just don't think it would of made a difference. As long as his eyes are open Wrath would kill him.
It should be obvious that it wasn't about a true canon fight. It was abou the simple fact that on the scale of coolness and looking awesome, Bradley demolishes Sasuke's crying butt.
Even with the manga alone, watching Bradley fight anything is more interesting then Sasuke pulling win button Sharingan hax out of his ass to victory over whoever he's fighting.
@metaXzero True. Naruto bored me out long ago with sub-plots expanding after another, with little progress in the plot. They are just dragging it out to milk as much cash and as many fans out of the franchise. The plot decayed long ago.

yep that bit from 4:30 - 4:50 is definitely a more fitting style of battle [fast and furious] to a character like bradley. Don't get me wrong, I love dragon ball Z, but i just think the whole talking, barely moving, ultra power out of nowhere thing doesn't fit for all situations or characters.

To all those asking why greed took so long to regenerate, i think its because he got killed so many times and over time his philosopher's stone was running out of power. I mean, 15+ kills...KING BRADLEY FOR THE MUTHA EFFIN WIN!

@orgixvi3 He prob can't harden himself till his fully regen and such. And I don't think fully hardening himself would have helped him. Kings eye can prob see any weak spot on his armor to atk, and his sword can be alchemy made to be harder then greeds body. He cuts through metal, bullets, tanks ect like nothing and the only thing that ever broke his sword was scars alchemy breakdown. Greed was fcked as soon as the King showed up after him.

I think it's ironic that Greed got his ass kicked here, but later the second Greed is able to hold his own (just about), thanks to Ling's reflexes, where Greed is basically sharing his body.
Let me just reiterate that, Greed learns to share (evolving beyond his basic traits) in order to take on Wrath.

@killawind1287 well remember greed didn't even know who wrath was. If I'm correct wrath was created based off of the anger that father held towards greed for abandoning the group, so greed was gone before wrath was even born. Guess it's kinda fitting that wrath ended up bringing greed back.

@OrquestaSonDelPuerto Can't really blame you for not liking him in the first series. He didn't even do all that much in that version. All attention went to Envy and Lust, and later to Wrath (the annoying one).
What I like about Brotherhood is that every single homunculus has their purpose and they get nice amount of screen time. And of course they live up to their sins perfectly.

I like how Wraths real skill is awareness. And I don't think they bothered to make Greed go full armor because I just don't think it would of made a difference. As long as his eyes are open Wrath would kill him.

Fuhrer means leader. Just because Hitler ended up a dictator doesn't change its original meaning. President means leader of an organization or country.
It's more like Fuhrer President means "leading leader" or "leader of leaders". That's far from a double negative.
