  • Poor man. Ouch!

  • but...ouch.

  • <3 i love your videos.

  • Would that happen with every spider, or only a ornata? like would pain like this happen or or just pain from the bite from a Avicularia versicolor? did it have some sort of a minor venom?

  • @Bisoneer Avic woiuld be like a bee sting actually less....most tarantula bites are nowhere near this bad...poecilotheria or any of the old worlds have pretty bad venom...nothing that can kill you!

  • man id be on the floor crying like a bicth if that was me

  • Wow that's crazy. You wouldn't expect so much pain from such a little creature. Most dog bites hurt less than the amount of pain he was describing!

  • @Ejwoods08 well the spider doesnt have 100 teeth for ripping and tearing so it has to use venom.... but i can say watch this guy describing whats going on and then go watch a pitbull attack victim and look at the attitude difference.

  • You look a lot like Johnny Noxville.

  • Just getting into this amazing hobby and enjoying your videoes, I don't plan on getting bit but im aware it's probably gonna happen. Anyway it's nice to see what I can look forward to, lol. Thanks for posting your vids RobC.

  • >_< ouch

  • Yikes... maybe next time document it in the car on the way to the hospital?

  • Got a Redknee sling today \o/

  • 3 days holy shit! I'm getting my first T soon and i'm wondering if some species have much more powerful venom than others or could it be that you were more allergic? Or simply that a bigger spider has more venom? I doubt my little Redknee would cause that much pain...hope i won;t find out lol. Love your vids, keep up the good work dude (and your Camera Lady!)

  • @BrachypelmaSmithi100 hey you, i suggest you to get some info about the animal before you buy it, tarantulas arent hamsters...

  • @YogDodoth your right, rodents have killed WAaaaaaay more people.

  • Quest what did they give you at the hospital?

  • Quit your yapping and go to the hospital you moron.

  • @IMETYOUB42 Quite Your yapping and do more reserach....hospital really can't do shit dumbass!

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Oh yeah, I'm only a registered nurse, what do i know?

  • @IMETYOUB42 My point exactly nothing......there is nothing that ca be done to treat the bite...only muscle relaxers and pain meds. there has never been a allergic reaction either.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Well you're quite wrong in fact. The emergency department would provide oxygen therapy (the man in this video is short of breath), administration of IV fluids to help with low blood pressure (the man in this video is dizzy and confused, a sign of shock requiring fluid therapy), and medications to combat allergies would also be administered at the ER.

  • @IMETYOUB42 Your quite wrong actually....the venom also blocks the pain receptors so most pain meds do not do anything and the reason I was out of breath was not shock...it was my diaphram contracting...quite guessing and these cause and posting terrible nfo...you are NOT a Dr...a nures and that is about it.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Many people can have allergic anaphylactic reactions to tarantula bites much the same way people have anaphylactic reactions to bee stings, trust me I've seen it many times. Yes allergic reactions to tarantula bites are rare, but there are other symptoms which in my opinion can and should be treated by professional medical personnel.

  • @IMETYOUB42 THere has NEVER been a documented case world wide...tarantual venon is NOTHING like snake or bee venom

  • @tarantulaguy1976 My only comment was a sense of frustration that this guy was just sitting there talking on and on when he should have been in the car driving to the nearest ER. I'm sure he's not a moron, just as I am not a dumbass. By the way, muscle relaxers and pain meds are legitimate therapeutic drugs and they are only a small part of what can be done to assess and treat a tarantula or other venomous bug bite.

  • Such a shame our hands are the shape of spiders

  • @RTSBRITAIN lmao, so true

  • DUUUUUDDE YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY VIDEOS FOR LIKE A LONG TIME :((((( WERE YOU ATT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS AND I SUBSCRIBED!!!!! :DDDDDD

  • Can they leave your arm or hand permanently paralized, do you need to rush to get some anti-venom?

  • Defenently the female that bit you, I lived with one once, so I know. On evening she threw out all my clothes for absolutely no reason!

  • Sir Rob, what would happen if you decided not to go to the hospital?

  • no joke u r fucking tough mine bite me i was screaming like shit

  • i completely support what u are doing, you seem very well educated about these spiders and look like your wife supports you very much also you seem to have a shitload of coolass spiders >:D!!!!!

  • so what your saying t guy is that your spider said "BAMM!!" now you know how your crickets etc feel lol

  • how venomous is this species? What do you do for medical care?

  • @njnolan1 Not enough to kill you (no tarantula can) but it is bad pain. Only thing a Dr can do is give you pain meds and muscle relaxers.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 so no tarantula has enough venom to kill a human????

    please reply

  • @roxas3110 Not unless you are allergic.

  • @superpatitus Your a moron, she bit me because she thought i was a male spider.

  • Comment removed

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Ornatas are known to bite more when YOU'RE criticizing with a wrong grammar and a damn old browser with free steak knives for every download.

  • @SANDRAo3o92k11 I dont pic the adds, google does...probally the browser you are using and go look at your grammer LOL!! "much more moron" yeah....I think it is clear who the moron is.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 does it ever randomly hurt to this day? i know in some cases with other animal bites that people will get a feeling of pain here and there

  • @superpatitus your crazy, do you own any spiders? i bet not...

  • @superpatitus you work for PETA don't you?

  • @superpatitus learn english

  • @superpatitus obvious no-brainer is obvious...

  • When I'm in pain I laugh too. lol

  • No dont take him out of my home! *bites* yeh that will teach you for taking my friend away , she didnt want him to go so she used violence, Ouch what was the outcome ? how long did it wear off and stuff?

  • who plays with fire...

  • @YogDodoth I wasn't playing with her so I have no idea...I was tryingnto get the male out of her enclosure.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 dont listen to the people on here they dont know what the hell they are talking about. i have only ever owned one tarantula and i loved it. i can see how someone can become attached to them. if anyone has anything to say about this bite, tell them that all animals bite. its one of few deffenses they have. females can be a bit more aggressive i hear.

  • I have been watching this guy and his spiders on youtube for a while now and if he got bit it was definately a freak thing because he is amazing with his spiders. I just got my firt taranchula this week and I hope to be even just half the good resonsible care giver for my spider, and it really is addicting to have one, I am already planning what my next one will be. I for a chaco brown

  • Unbelievable how many uneducated people are posting idiot comments under your video! I was bitten at least 6 times, by 3 different tarantulas, and nothing serious happened! And I read everything about my spiders, before I handle them... For me it is enough that I can't die!, I will not have tissue damage, like with a brown recluse, I wont suffer brain damage XD, I will only have some HORRIBLE pain, and my hand feels like it will explode, but nothing more! I bet you most of those people who are

  • commenting on your video, are NOT professionals... Keeping 20 spiders will not make them pros! And I enjoyed watching you suffering! :) (just kidding) You know the risks, which are not much (well depending on the species)

if you know how to handle them! I bet your wife was jealous, after that love bite! :)

  • @steveelb1 whaaaaa whaaaaa

  • ? :S It's like those people : whaaaaaw..... He wrote some comments to the uploader! What does that meeeeeaaaan??

------- Patience little grass smoker, you will know it when the time comes!

    === KEEP ON TROLLIN' === :P

  • By the way I was talking about the idiots who are posting nonsense! And I am NOT a professional either, but I read a lot about my animals. And I don't post idiotic comments, if I don't know the answer, because I don't want to look like an idiot. (If I don't know something, I don't try to be Mr. Nerd :) I just don't understand why are they posting nonsense comments.. There are people always who will read their comments, who know that they talk b+++s+it, and they will shame those idiots...

  • i smell spider man

  • You got nailed by a female tarantula... Kinda kinky

  • While I appreciate the educational value of this video, wildlife bites require speed to the ER for the best treatment. You're lucky it wasn't any worse.

  • @FurorVikingorum Actually there isnothing the ER can do (painkillers/muscle relaxers) and there has never been a death or allergic recation to T venom.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 The lest they could do is give you antivenin!

  • @CHEVYedsf There is no need for anti venom because the venom is not protein based.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Its actually called antivenin. Not antivenom.

  • @CHEVYedsf I honestly dont care LOL!!

  • I think all of them are accepted: Antivenom or antivenin or antivenene. If I would talk on a conference, I probably would use antivenene, which has some Latin origins, antivenin has French origins, and antivenom is of course English. And all three languages are accepted, in INTERNATIONAL herp. talk. Still the Latin is that most of them prefer. Anivenom is a totally accepted version even in Hungary, where I came from, and all around the earth.

  • make more vids!!!!!!

  • fake as hell

  • @stanleysteama I am sure you are, do you want to pay my medical bills if it was so fake dumbass???

  • So, did you turn out OK?

  • Sooo, this is gonna be a dumb question i guess but what is a good species of tarantula for a beginner? Im a little skittish about it o.O But i reallly want to experience having one.

  • @NekkroQu33n King Baboon (Citharischius crawshayi) really friendly easy to handle they grow really quick too!

Ignore all of that.........I have one of those and shes highly defensive and really slow growing...

I started with a Chilean Rose (G. Rosea) alot of people start with that species because they are easy to get hold of but be warned not all are docile.....I have one that is fairly defensive.....

There a few nice T's to start with, research is they key! You wont regret getting one!

  • @NekkroQu33n Anything out of the Avicularia genus if you like Arboreals. Brachy's are good for beginners as well

  • hey dude ive been having a ''P.p'' ( its a 5k word projets at my school in sec 5) stands for personal project and i'm doing it on spider behavior, etc. I tought if i could maybe like borrow 1 of your spiders or you could do a video explaining territorial display behavior and/or the haunting technique of one of your tarantulas ( i mean like an ambush attack behidn corner not the usual put roach in face you know ;) ) that would really help my project dude thanks .

  • That's a great reason to be careful with this one 'cause Poecilotheria Ornata is one of the most venomous tarantulas on Earth.

  • put your body in hot water to break the venom molecule

  • My friends always ask why I keep a lock on my P. Ornatas cage haha..thats why o.o He's still everyones favorite though haha

  • I cant put the picture or the link here :S can you give me an e-mail adress where can i send a picture about her? Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Rob!

I know youre very experineced in keeping tarantulas! I have a question to you. I just got my new B. smithi, and i worry about that, the smithi's carapace isnt black at all, i had smithis before, but i never met a smithi like that. What do you think aboout this? Maybe shes a hybrid or shes an old girl and thats why her carapace looks like that? :S

The seller told me that she has been adult for 1,5 months, can it be true? I thinking about matink but i dont want to make hybrids.. thanks

  • I'll remind myself never to get bitten by a Poke! Ouch. Did you have cramps later on in the week? I'm about to get myself a P Murinus and going through some bite reports on here. There aren't many to be honest. Yours is the first genuine one I've found

  • @DJGlynnAlan I had cramps for about 3 weeks, I also got bit by a OBT and had cramps for 1 week...pretty good bite to.

  • Poecilotheria are very dangerous!

  • hi rob! is the p ornata agressive compared to p miranda and p regalis? are they new world ang arboreal?

  • Opps...yea...don't know if I told you or if you even remember...But I went with Paul Becker as you suggested for my 4 new mexi baby slings. Yup! there all alive and well...Please I would really like some view...check out my vids if you have a chance..they're in my profile..

  • Nice come back @Dobimarkus Tarantulaguy...freekin jerkoff. but yea man never knew how much pain a T bite could cause up until now.

  • oooo! on the thumb muscle! bad!

  • I'm SOOOO glad I watched this before unpacking my P. ornata pair tonight. NOT lol. Thanks for posting this Rob It's good to have a healthy respect for these animals.

  • I hope you don't mind, I really enjoy your videos and I'd like to use a few seconds of this one for a school project?

  • @DEModsInc Sure!

  • This guy is pro and this byte is real he own tarantulas before most of you was born!

  • maybe you should suck out the venom?

  • k solves me question about if you ever gotten bitten but ouch that gotta hurt

  • Don't seem to be a good thing, i mean. To get bitten :) Comes with the hobby i guess :) Keep posting, i like what you do :)

  • fuck why did i buy one of these??!!!

  • although i´m so scared about spiders i love your vids. you have beautiful animals and i love the "baaam and then laugh" comments in nearly all feeding vids xDD greetings from germany, jessie

  • My friend got bit once. He was messing around with his spiders while drunk. He was sick for two days and then it cleared up.

  • Hey Rob....Just wanted to say that I find your vids very informative. Actually considering widening my collection and breeding too, but not right away. Forget all these idiots who make negative comments. They don't understand how truly beautiful these creatures are. My fav's are by far the Ornamentals. The cobalt is intriging too. Maybe I can email you for more info about breeding and do's and don'ts, etc. Later....Bob

  • I have a question: When someone is bitten by a pit bull or snake and has to go to the hospital, they kill it. If someone is bit by a tarantula and has to go to the hospital, do they kill the tarantula?

  • @Avnirvana1 No, rob loves his Ts too much to ever do that. He realizes thats just their animal instinct and its what they do. So no a tarantula that bites will not be killed unless the owner kills it out of his own anger and if you get bit and decide to kill it you shouldnt have one anyway. The risk goes with the hobby and you have to accept those risks.

  • MAN WAZ IT THAT BAD?!

  • @Dobimarkus I bet you are!

  • Wow, that looks amazingly painful :( I'm glad you made a full recovery. I got bit by a spider before, the bad part being that it was a black widow. Incredibly painful, even after receiving antivenin about 13 minutes after the bite. In New Mexico, this stuff just happens haha. But I can't imagine a bite from a spider that large, even if the venom is less potent...

  • well finally found someone else who laughs when there in pain... it actually helps ease it... unless that's only me

  • you should get a tattoo of that in that spot lol that would be a pretty sweet tat, plus it seems like u always get bit there lol

  • Thanks for documenting the experience (I know just how painful a hot bite can be) it does show the "no worse than a bee sting" brigade that, like venomous snakes, tarantula bites can be serious depending on species.

Hope you made a full recovery.

  • hey rob i finally broke down and got my first T a beautiful 4 month old G rosea Female who is just the sweetest little thing omg. got her for 22 bucks and got her home and housed, thanks for sparking my interest along with jon. i sent u a friend add if u wanna accept if not then ill take it as a fuck off lol.

  • play with fire youll eventually get burned

  • hey rob any advice for me recently lost a regalis she stuck in her shed i have a few other pokies and they shed fine but the regalis had trouble las time also, could it be just the individual t ????? thanks buddy also bought some stuff on your reccomendation from pet center usa thanks for the advice....id also like to send a shout out to rob and jon3800 great guys wiling to help out and share their knowledge u guys give this hobby a good name....

  • So what happened in the end?

  • @bassoonmaster1995 It ended about 3 weeks after and I still sometimes have cramping.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Is that a normal thing for tarantula bites or does this tarantula just have more venom than most?

  • @bassoonmaster1995 This is one of the most hottest Sp in venom toxicity...most taratulas have less venom than a bee sting.

  • @bassoonmaster1995

i hope he lost his arm

  • hey,i think its really hard.Tarantulaguy1976,youre THE MAN!you do really good videos

  • If it's the "worst pain (you've) ever felt in (your) life," then you wouldn't be talking to us and making a video. Don't bullshit us, macho man. All of us have felt pain that rendered us incapable of speaking. Or am I in a minority? Stop the 21st century OMG superlative crap. We'd all be better off and better informed as creatures on the planet because of it.

  • @curandero88 I am not a OMG punk like you...you have no idea what your atalking about you little bitch who would go crying to moma. I used to box with broken fingers and ribs and this hurt worse. I had symptoms for over 3 months....go some where little boy.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 lmao touche Rob, on a real question though would i need to go to the hospital if for some reason i got bit by a rosie or a brazilian black or a b smithi, im buying one of the three tomorrow and this is my only worry is getting tagged hospital visits are too damn expensive.

  • @HatesStupidPeople194 You would be totally fine.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 any more advice bro? lol im hella nervous i dont wanna screw this up.

  • @HatesStupidPeople194 Those are equivalent to a bee sting, fangs would hurt a bit but that is about it.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 for sure man, hey i sent u a friend request, dont know if ur accepting or not but i love your videos and i really like your personality with yout T's and think you have a really sweet family and would love to have you as a friend and ur Bams just crack me up lmao

  • @curandero88

Well aren't you an uninformed smartass. That man was kind enough to document a bite report on a tarantula, never on youtube; that is capable of putting you in the hospital with severe muscle, leg cramps, nausea, swelling, intense pain and more. It's people like him and myself that inform people about them and what NOT to start off., hence better informed

Why don't you get bitten by a Poecilotheria and see how long it takes to for you to realize its real and gonna start crying

  • @curandero88 - First of all.. sorry that happened to you big guy (tantantulaguy1976).. and to you 88. who needs you anyway. And why the hell are you getting pissed off at something that didn't happen to you? No, you're not a minority to feeling pain. And yes, you are a major pain in the arse.

  • @curandero88 i haven't--when i felt the worst pain of my life i was still talking, but i was saying "OH MY GOD IT HURTS, PLEASE STOP"

  • why would u go to the hospital its not deadly like a black widow right

  • @themasterbater6996 It makes a black widow bite feel like a bee sting in comparison to pain...I needed muscle relaxers and pain killers.

  • @kittysnowbell45 yes especially if you are allergic to bees and this goes for any T that bites you

  • @TarantulaRookie56 Actualy no, there is not a documented case of a alergic treaction to a T...i am EXTREMELY alergic to bees (throats swell) and no allergic reaction from T bites.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 i know nothing about spiders and i'll probably never buy one, but i have a few questions. did the spider that bit you inject you with something that make the pain go throughout your arm? or did he/she just his a nerve or something

  • @blanchj11

the tarantula injected him with a bit of venom.

  • hey rob at the end it says" this was not made to sacre you" u mean scare lol

  • He's in shock, he's jumpy and his speech is sped up and jittery. That must suck ass

  • hey man i love your vids, i just got a chilli rose and was wondering how painful is the bite im not sure if she's male or female ??? :)

  • @riderazor05 A bit worse than a bee sting.

  • Shouldnt u see a dr

  • Ouch! Do you rekon this was worse than the P.regalis bite? if so do you reckon its because the ornata was bigger (and injected more venom) or because this species has stronger venom?

  • @lorddoug7 The ornta has a worse bite, but this female was huge!

  • Looks painful, They sound like a quite a Venomous Tarantula if it was one of the most painful things in your life, i dont know much about Tarantula's so sorry about that.

  • i've had T's for just about 18 years and nevah been bit once.

  • @tetreaultlaura you will now!!! lol

  • cramping....nuasia indigestion, upset stomach....diahrea, HEY that looks painfull

  • what should i do if i wer to get bitten by a tarantula?

  • @ASpiderGuy1995 If it is a hot Sp then muscle relaxers and pain killers and that is about it.

  • @ASpiderGuy1995 A super duper band aid! If it was a pokie, well the ER.

  • laughing is what we do to cope with stress, and i imagine being bitten and having your arm cramp up like that is very stressful. i laugh when i get super frustrated to calm down, which makes me seem a bit crazy but yeah.

  • hey rob i have an important question at what size does a ornata have to be to pack a serious punch

  • fuck all these haters, Rob you the man. this is not fake. I know how bad T bites are, and this is a venomous 10" T. Rob is tough as nails if you ask me.

  • owch

  • @jimtactical How do I spell your name ....um DUMB FUCK would be about right....fake, yeah sure. I do not needa ady job I have oil rights. I also have medical reports as welll as documentation....so take your lame ass some where else little boy.

    Have a nice day.

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Lmao!!! YEAH!! TELL EM'

  • @tarantulaguy1976 Lmao!! YEAH!! TELL EM'

  • @jimtactical ---Little Bitches like you need to kill yourselves because you are worthless to society. Some people have tolerance for pain, and don't cry themselves to sleep when they get hurt. And how the hell does this look fake?

  • @Scorpion1998100 Little harsh?

  • @demonjack123 --- I don't give a flying fuck if you think it was harsh. I'm in a really bad mood, if you wan't to see why-- look on my channel comments.

  • @jimtactical how old are you like 12? why would you call this fake?

Are you retarded or just stupid?

  • @jimtactical sorry, but you're a dumbass. he would gain nothing from faking this. he has plenty of subscribers already and lots of views on most of his videos.

  • @jimtactical

    idiot
