You most probably play on TLA and not on 2238, because 2238 is 100% done in english without any russian language support. You need to open up the config tool and type in the server data for 2238 in the "Net" tab. IP: 94.103.87.42 and Port: 2238.

Someone should really do easy access beginner's guide where it's guided how to get basic weapon and armor. ect.

Can some1 tell me easy way to get armor at low levels?? Without crafting.

Damn! I just heard that Interplay has lost the rights to Fallout Online! Now Bethesda owns it! Greedy bastards! You should have just let the Interplay do it... It's not always about money!

They haven't yet lost it. The license has been in dispute since April of this year, but Interplay still has it until such time that they no longer have the funding. But yes, Bethesda is a bunch of greedy bastards who are milking Fallout instead of making a real game of it.

Just one question though, is the combat simular to Fallout: Tactic's Action based Real time combat? or is it basicly just like Fallout 2?

They appear to use a real-time combat system based on action points, kinda like what Interplay planned for Van Buren. Basically, Action points restore slowly depending on sequence/agility.

Hmm, yes, that was pretty much what Fallout: tactics had, sounds like a good system since the time of day will apperently be real time based, nothing will freeze or speed up the time.

Fights are mostly in real-time (like FT) and turn-based (like F1/F2).

But I bet that all you need is some experience in Fallout 1/2 to play this, and that is what I have.

Hey I need help i installed fallout 2 i added Fonline to the folder and i get to the main screen and everything just says Error?, I also need to know how to make an accnt

check file "data/default.cache" or register new player "blindly" and start (press second button, type your nick and password in top left form, configure SPECIAL, press middle red button, now you must be in main menu, press top button, after this, texts will be update from server).

"FOnline: 2238" is a Fallout game based on the FOnline engine. It is only developed in english language and there is no russian version planned for now. The game is set in the year 2238, 3 years before Fallout 2 starts and uses the Fallout 1 and 2 worldmap combined into one.

More infos will follow soon.

The first alpha release can be played when the next open FOnline test will start (on 15. August 2009). After that, monthly updates are planned.
