  • great video thanks

  • love the video really good

  • This is a great video

  • some really good stuff here

  • Very enjoyable thank you

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • really informative and interesting

  • For those of you who understand physics, could you explain what it is about microwaves in the sky that shows that all of the universe came from a single point. please. laymens terms if possible. or direction to a credible website.

  • I saw an apologist in a video one time who said that the universe is mostly static, & the movement of galaxies that have been witnessed (that gave us the big bang theory) is actually potential energy turned kinetic from the stretching of space. Same as if you stretched a rubber band and held the ends and the band would then begin to vibrate. So if we watch the stars long enough then we will see them move in more than one direction Can anyone give me some facts to show why this would be nonsense?

  • T= evidence. ?= no evidence

2 scientists detects some microwave signals.(T) with evidence.

this signals are energy that was at the begining of the universe.(?) no evidence

so there was a burst of energy called big bang that created the universe.(?)

some energy of that big bang still remains in the form of microwave signals.(?)

so this is big bang theory. it is a spectaculer speculation, because 3 parts of the theory has no evidence.

  • @freedomofthought100 the dispersion, temperature, and location of these waves fit the mathematical model perfectly. The one thing that most people who don't understand/believe these truths are missing is a grasp of mathematics. Science would not just spill these statements forward without the backing of strong experimental and mathematical proof. They do not include the math because frankly, the average person just wouldn't get it, obviously.

  • @saganemc2

even if it is mathematically proved that this energy existed at the beginning of the universe,it is very hard to know from where this energy comes? mathmetics cannot be proof of everything because math deals with numbers and many thing are there wich cannot be quantified.

  • @freedomofthought100 can you name a phenomenon that cannot be proven by mathematics but has some other field that proves it ?

  • @onlyforytb

prove god, love and hate, beauty, past events, future events, ghost, spirits with the help of mathematics.

  • @freedomofthought100 love , hate and beauty(thought) are neurological and hence can be modelled with an equation that represents a signal with parameters. But we dont understand the brain enough to do it. This is not a math limitation. Past events and future events are not concepts to be proven. ghosts, spirits and God have not been proven by any field.

  • @onlyforytb

the point is your mathematics cannot prove ghost, spirit, god, past and future events etc. but many lay people, theosophist, philosophers prove them. and this proves that mathematics HAS LIMITATION. thank you.

  • @freedomofthought100 if you think theology and philosophy can scientifically prove something, I am not going to argue with you any further. I thank you too.

  • @freedomofthought100 elaborate, how do philosophers prove spirits, ghosts or gods?

  • @HJM061 Fuck off retard

  • @HJM061 HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Fool!!

  • U say God

How come those poor became poorer n rich became richer ... N God say he love his children n yet see them suffer

  • @HJM061 How are planets made?

  • Reach your knowledgeable limit and insert god? Don't worry even the best of the best do. Their will be a theory of everything before we die, I'm not in a rush. Although if I were religious it seems I would be. A society were human logic is rejected will not be tolerated forever. I would like to have someone lead this planet that has knowledge rather than faith.

  • @HJM061 I'm assuming your religious since you apply the logic of "I personally don't know how it works so clearly it can't be true."

  • "The bible tells us how to get to heaven, not how the heavens go."

  • i dnt care wht proof they hve even if they ever created the big bang theory God exits in every form he wnts

  • I need the name of this nova documental pls , someone know? htx

  • @22complexity

No, it doesn't. Because you have to assume that either God always existed, or something made God. It doesnt answer the question at all.

  • Go to reasons to believe.org

  • 6 creationists just shat their panties.

  • That is a load of rubbish!!!!! He shouldn't have got that Nobel prize cos the big bang is fake

  • @LukieBoss221 of course it is. :-|

  • How can Physics make more sense? We don't know if there was a big bang nobody knows. And dont dismis religion as magic crap what gives you the right to make that kind of statement. We are spriritual beings with a soul and what do we know.Have all these clever scientist stopped wars and famine and misery on this planet? No.

  • @foppo100 neither has god

  • @superinfinite88 That is because he has already sent his son to die and besides do you think after the way we treated Jesus we would even deserve help? NO! Yet we were given a chance!

  • @LukieBoss221 why do you speak as if god has spoken to you, the universe is so massive, to think we are so special and important is absurd. Are planet is like a grain of sand at the beach, would you stop to pick up a grain of sand and take care of it?

  • @foppo100 why should scientists stop wars that religion created?

  • @foppo100 Scientists have stopped wars by creating weapons and defense systems that make wars between nations a lose-lose proposition, and communication and travel technology and increases international trade, which has also been shown to reduce armed conflicts. And as for famine and misery? LOL! How about eradicating small pox, cholera, malaria - the list goes on. And science discovered the Haber-Bosch process of producing artificial fertilizer, which feeds 40 PERCENT of the earth's population!

  • i'm wondering, who live at that time that can tell us about the story (big bang)...

i dont think of any human live at that time, so why they know there is a big bang happen?

and i and I never thought after the big bang, then formed the earth, stars, sky, water, fish, butterfly, cloud...how could that happen??

i not ever see in my life after the crush/bang/explode etc, create beautiful effects..

I never saw a car where the car after misfortune become more beautiful...

  • @sofaz89 we can tell by gathering the evidence and finding explanations for what it points to. almost all of the universe is completely hostile to life and would kill it in an instant. the universe is hardly the example of a 'nice' place overall.

the sky, water fish etc are the result of anaerobic bacteria that over billions of years altered the chemical composition of the sky so that there were enough O2 to support life.

  • @sofaz89 "I never saw a car where the car after misfortune become more beautiful"

i bet if you waited a few billions years after the accident and nature had reclaimed the area the original car crash would look far more beautiful than the original cars ever did.

  • There is no such thing as nothing. Therefore the god hypothesis is useless.

  • To answer the question - where did the singularity come from, you need to understand 11 dimension space. The leading edge in science is saying that the singularity is a result of dimensional membranes "touching" one another and the "ripples" are what we percieve to be matter. This means that before the big bang, there was stuff going on, maybe even other big bangs. Ours might not be the only universe.

  • @dbzman1985 Oh, now THAT'S magic......

    LOL!

  • Pray tell, where did the early universe, which was supposedly condensed into a few millimeters, come from? Explain please.

  • @Gandalf54231 That is not yet known.

However, just because we don't know something YET doesn't allow for us to put a god label on it.

  • @Gandalf54231 Where did "God" come from? Who knows, but adding "God" into the equation only further complicates what we don't know...lets figure out what we have evidence for first, instead of praying to air.

  • @Gandalf54231 Religious types have this way of insisting that for science to give an explanation at all, they have to have an explanation of everything, so when the scientist go about the work to find this answer, the religious types redicule because they are looking. It's the equivilant of expecting someone to find their lost car keys, without actualy doing any searching for the keys. Of course they will not have every single answer, but at least there not falsely claiming they do.

  • @Gandalf54231 "come from" are undefined words in early universe (when the universe was of order of dozens of planck length). The high energy-density of the early universe had made time itself became space-like quantity. There is no point in discussing what is "before" and "after". Time behaved such that discussing "before" and "after" is the same as discussing what is "above" big bang; or what is to the "left" or "right" of big bang.

Understood? If not, please study physics.

  • @Gandalf54231 We don't know. But, it is senseless to suppose it came from nothing, because there is no such thing as nothing. Nothing doesn't exist. The big bang clearly comes out of a larger process - for which there is no evidence that "it" has a mind of any kind. The universe was created, but by unthinking physical forces. There is no evidence at all to say otherwise.

  • how is this considered evidence lol for the big bang ?

  • @kieranjoseph It agrees with the theoretical predictions.

  • Look, can't we say "I don't know (yet)" and be done with it? The known laws of physics break down at the big bang, so we don't know if it's turtles all the way down or if a god created it, and to me, both sounds equally reasonable and absurd.

    There, I said it.

  • @arcturian627

um, we do say i don't know..but, these are our best ideas thus far..ideas that have a good deal of evidence and reason behind them.

  • Epic aspect ratio is epic :|

  • I wonder how many christians actually understand the big bang.

  • @spinnersmetal

y friend is so religious he argued with the teacher on the big bang theory

  • @spinnersmetal I don't can you explain it to me?

  • @RespectMyHate: Visit my channel, there is a video as the “main presentation video” – I think that’s what it’s called – explaining what the Big Bang is in only 10 minutes. And by the way, it’s being taught from the guy who gives lessons to Bill Gate’s kids – check it out man.

  • Dark matter is the byproduct of matter that falls into black holes. The reason the universe is expanding is becuse the dark matter universe is expanding, I use the word dark matter universe because it can't exist in our universe, and the big bang is the result of dark matter being released back into our universe and recombining as normal matter in our universe.

  • really smart guys..

  • i think the human can understand the unverse some one jast got to say human cant do it and humans will find a way to do it that quote is from me( de ,jerome the frist) give me my respect when u use it thx

  • I know this might seem like a silly question but can someone explain this to me?

If the universe was born of the big bang how did materials get here where they are in the universe and materialize if they were ejected from the center of the universe at faster than the speed of light? If it was would it have not all been turned into just energy because it was traveling faster then light? from what I know energy doesn't condense into mass.

  • Nothing was 'ejected'. The singularity expanded. It ballooned outward. The boundary of the singularity is the boundary of our universe. We already know that very high energy photons can become electron/positron pairs. Also, matter and mass are two different things.

  • one big bang most likely follows another, etc., if there be/have been/will be any....

  • I don't think the human kind can truly understand the concept of infinity, we can try but to quote someone ' the universe is much queerer than we can suppose' and 'if you think you understand quantum theory, you don't understand quantum theory'

  • yup! thats Richard Dawkins

  • @ViperRob42 Richard Feynman!

  • jetrpg22,ur a moron.its nothing like "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." christians and everyone who follows a religion are born into belief that god exists. religion is the human response to life and death and the way the brain deals with fear of non existence which all life fights to oppose,an example is how a burnt tree sprouts new green leaves. religion is based on control and faith. science is based on theories, experiments, evidence and thus, results

  • Thus matter is only one form of energy and due to this there is or is not. Science to day theorizes that something can not come from nothing. Thus you need this mystical singularity that expanded (the big bang) to remain in the real of science. However, there is no evidence for this singularity. Oh there is evidence for a sort of expansion, but 1 + ? =/ 4.

Still science has not touched where the singularity came from, the best answer you get was nothing existed before.

  • The real question is what is energy, and the answer is the absence of void.

  • What is all of this something from nothing BS, that is religion's magic crap. Physics talks about phase states and quantum fluctuation, bumps in the nothing , terms which make a whole lot more sense than big ape on a cloud made it from nothing All you are stating is a terrible ignorance of physics, in this day and age it is awful, your defence is a cover of religious respect. Well that doesn't work anymore, Hubble makes creationism dumb. we see stars being born. there are no flocks of angels.

  • @marsCubed dummy...religion is why science even exists fool....there is no one witout the other...religion and science coexists

  • @dlawso77 "religion is why science even exists"

Both religion and science are ideologies.

Science systematically sets out to remove the need for faith by using best standards for evidence & inquiry. It began in the pre Socratic era. it looks to Natural explanations for things.

Science is methods rather than beliefs.. our ability to find stuff out.

only the ritual feasting & drinking aspect of religion is likely to have any impact on what it's instruments might read.. at around Christmas time.

  • @marsCubed ok fool...let me explain this for you....god is y science exists....god created science....so how can science be created by god and then turn around and try and slap him in the face by saying god doesnt exist....do urself a favor my fool and accept the lord into your heart...becuz he is there

  • @dlawso77 Quetzalcoatl demands your blood non-believer!

  • @dmjuly07 hahahahahahaaha he said quetalcoatli demands my blood, ahahahahahahaha

  • @dlawso77 Problem is, God did a really good job creating science. Science makes your computer turn on, science makes this Youtube video play, science filters your water so it's safe to drink. God must have created a science so complete, that there's no reason to assume God was involved at all. Or, let's try a quick experiment. Next time you want to comment on Youtube, just pray your request to God. Meanwhile I'll hit "post" on my screen. Let's see who gets better results.

  • @7j8i9m Here's my reply. Waiting for yours.

  • @7j8i9m yeah you're going to get better results because god is not concerned with answering peoples prayers to make a post just to prove to people that he is there...if he was concerned with that than im sure he'd do it.......the test in life is faith in him...those who pass...enjoy the afterlife of heaven....so y wud he kill his own test and make it that easy on you and show he's there? you're experiment gets a D- lol

  • @dlawso77 Your logic is extremely scary, if you told a doctor how you felt but replaced the word "god" with "the voices" you would be locked up in a nut house. I have to live with the reality of people like you reproducing and voting. God will not post a YouTube comment. He is to busy with, cancer, child deformities, tsunamis, earthquakes, aids, rattle snakes, black holes, meteorites, super-novas, volcanoes. God is a universe troll no time for YouTube. So I guess you're right.

  • @lightitupfool yeah troll...so u guess im right...good for you.....now bow down on your knees and begin to pray...my son

  • jetrpg22 i implore you to research the M-theory. This explains the singularity, and what was the universe prior to the big bang.

  • ahahahahaahahahaha, you need more spare time=)

  • where did the big bang's matter come from

  • we have no idea.

  • Yes we do. It comes from the fact that enough energy, concentrated in one place, CAN and DOES become matter. IN the beginning there was ONLY energy. A few minutes later quarks emerged from the energy and grouped together to form protons, neutrons etc. Don't believe me? Check out Einstein's E=MC2 equation. It explains how atoms bombs and suns convert matter into energy, and it works in reverse too! Energy can become matter. :)

  • And, through your comment, you reveal to me your ignorance concerning physics.

  • Well that sounds to much like "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." --

The inclination to supernatural 'causes' is each human's signal that they've reached the limits of their comprehension and understanding. The act of relying on the supernatural is the act of saying "I've reached my level of incompetence."

  • @detlevi Well saying god creating the the universe beats the hell out of it happening by random chance.

  • Oh then I guess Jesus is a better explanation for what we see in the cosmos. Pah, hypocrite. There are still unknowns which is GREAT because without those we wouldn't have science we would have scientific history.

  • if energy can form matter, and vice versa, then can someone explain how energy comes from nothing? or did "nothing" ever exist at all? energy can't just appear..? what caused that? or did energy have no beginning and has no end? im a christian, and im not trying to start an argument or anything i just simply want to understand the big bang theory.

  • It's called infinity. Think about it this way. If energy, and matter can stretch into the infinite future, why can't they stretch into the infinite past? Time is a relative motion between objects. It is only a reference. energy is an essence of the universe, and space stretches into the infinite. When you believe in god, you still have to believe in infinite but not infinity of energy, rather infinite of a super, super all powerful intelligent mind which there is no evidence for.

  • Scientists have theories for how the big bang happened as well. They have many, but i remember one , it is that the big bang happens, an endless array of space time and matter happens...then a hundred billion years or so the universe collapses, kind of like pressing rewind button, then the big bang happens again and so on. Theres much more theories and they are all intresting including yours.

  • Oh nice to see a good naturalistic response. Thanks a lot for you input. Indeed, all these theories are very interesting. After all not knowing everything fuels science, the urge to explore, undrstand, change our minds about events, even if it means it's not in our favor to do so. Again, thank you.

  • the collapsing and re-exploding could sort of be thought of as a rubber band, in slow motion. the explosion is when it's stretching out, and the collapse is when it's snapping back

  • The Big Bounce Theory. [:

  • they are trying to understand it, we might have scientific answer soon

  • @xXxhybridmeteoraxXx well in a sense to answer your questions about the big bang theory you can look to your own religions beliefs in god. this is the major hang up I have with god, big bang theory, or any theory. if big bang created everything i accept that, but what created the big bang, and then what created that, and so on. same as with any god. if there really is a god, what created him? where did he begin, etc? that question has got me since i was a little kid.

  • @MrNachtlich lol what ever it is, that is out there has to be complex, and it makes you think how limited human being are when we realize we might be maggots stored in some cosmic can, sealed by a cosmic fridge waiting to be come bate...

  • nice argument buddy

  • Hi there. Whats up?

Would you like to work with new physics?

lets check it out some videos first.

Idea from Kuopio is video where i told how visible universe really MOVES

No gravity is a video where i told why there is no gravity at all

I can explain everything with one power. That power is pressure. That because atoms expanding all a time. So, space dont expanding.

    See you

  • whoever makes such glaringly ignorant statements about things they obviously don't understand are idiots. (here's a hint: it wasn't an actual explosion)

    have a nice day.

  • correct, ithe big bang was not big and wasnt really a bang because there were no air molecules to vibrate off of. HOWEVER- if you believe in parallel universes and wormholes... here's a hint;

it could have been a bang.

  • How did you come to this conclusion? You must be claiming you know something about the origins by that statement.

    Have a nice day.

  • sklee121984: I think you are talking about the Large Hadron Collider - it will go live in May this year and will hopefully find evidence for the Higgs Boson, which will explain the property of mass. It'll be cool!

  • lest there be some major mishap, like, i dunno, total annihilation of existence because the scientists didn't account for one of the many things that could go wrong.

  • Does anyone remember what's the name of the "big bang simulation" project? I'm talking about one that was taking place at the border of Austria (I think), that supposed to collide two electrons with speed near the speed of light.

I think it took place in Jan. last year.

  • I don't know about that one but the LHC is really cool was supposed to be launch last December but they had some complications. :-( The Large hadron collider.

  • what i'm not understanding is what correlated the spurious microwave signals to the big bang theory

couldn't it also be the sun?

  • If it were the sun they wouldn't be the same facing away from the sun.

  • ok. but something about catching spurious signals and attaching it to the background radiation of the universe just strikes me as a bit of a bold leap.

  • I can see your point and will have to look more into it myself...

  • i wish physics was that simple..

this is a documentary, not evidence.

  • Excelent vid:

I would like to add to the description.

I think it's not the abundance of elements, but the relative distribution of the elements with an abundance of the lightest elements (H and He).

  • Most Solar Systems are not made from the Big Bang. Solar Systems from every minute.

  • lol thats not proof

  • But it is evidence.

  • Forgive the expression, but Nerds are the coolest. Everyone yammers on and on about this Actor or that Sport figure, but its the Nerds, the geeks, the book worms, who actually discover things and figure out hard problems.

  • i agree! :D

  • Neil Degrsse Tyson Is Awsome,Please put up all you can find with him

  • awesome

  • Thanks a lot, this was really very interesting.

  • I've always had a suspicion that those blank channels had a message!

  • 5 stars and thanks

  • real nice upload. thanks.

  • Good stuff!
