  • thats the god particle not a blackhole...

  • DESTINYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • alright i understand the controversy over this whole thing and how cern says this wont ever happen and others say yes it could easily happen but i really think you people should give it an example on both sides, CERN could be completely wrong like when they dropped the first nuke they crossed their fingers nothing would go wrong they could be and most likely be doing the same things, but on the other hand these people know that one screw up could end it all so just think about it before u hate.

  • For fuck sake stop exaggerating, it will create black holes but one single black hole it creates wont even be able to power a flash light, fuckign how, how inmature...

  • @SlickWilliesWillie, yeehaw, better grab your guns and mountain dew and throw them in the pick up truck. Don't forget to scrape that mccain/palin bumper sticker off for safety!! Also pack your foil hats.

  • how did they get one single partical in there

  • I take my astrophysics advice from a dude that can't spell "daily." Why do you morons blindly thumbs up these stupid comments?

  • @FacTheory I thought the same thing! Morons.

  • GIVE ME THE DAMN RESULTS FOR F*CK SAKES!

  • @badihock apparently the data produced per collision is terabytes and could take years to analyze. dont hold your breath.

  • Then we all become one...in the area the size of a peanut,United at last...JOY

  • anyone else think that maybe this is something we just shouldn't fool with? lol. I mean.. I'm just as interested as the next guy about how things were actually created and such, but with so many unknowns... well, it's a little scary with some of the possible outcomes. Mainly the possiblility of the strange quark combining with our own causing a chain reaction is my main concern. The black hole thing is a little far fetched I believe though.

  • Love the soundtrack. Seems like something Mike Oldfield would make.

  • this video is the worst piece of deceiving rubbish ever. so some guy with grade school skills on a 3d renderer wants to show the world imploding followed by 3 mins over panning out.

i reserve my fear for when its warranted, and increase my excitement of the Hadron collider in the hopes that in the future people as stupid as our friend Amersi here will bring an end unto themselves in a quiet manner in their basements out of fear.

  • Now i have a good reason to believe in 2012.

  • These scientists are the same type of people that brought us nuclear weaponry; genetically modified and processed food that makes us infertile, subservient, and imbeciles; naked-body scanners that radiate you and increase the chances of getting cancer; genetically engineered cross-species; aspartame that rots your brain; fluoride in the water to pacify the populace; AIDs; H1N1; I could go on all day but I'm sure this experiment is different and we'll all enjoy the implosion of the whole universe.

  • Ok, so they turned it on some time ago and that didn't happen, Now what?

  • We wait for someone else to create something else that will possibly destroy everything we worked for, for thousands of years.

  • lol now earth is obama

  • ohh yeah suck it, yeahh

  • Hang on, a black hole has all the mass of giant star hundreds of times the mass of the Sun compressed into one point, the best the LHC could do is compress a few protons down to one point, which would have almost no mass, and thus no significant gravitational effect. It could not suck up the whole earth, it doesn't have the mass of a grain of sand to start with.

  • The advancement of physics knowledge easily outweighs the peace of mind of the human race as a priority.

  • They created a massive black hole somewhere in the banking system that has sucked in quadrillions of dollars and continues to do so today in 2010. Eventually all known wealth and matter will end up in the pockets of the international jew. He will look and there will be nothing there. His entire existence will have been for nothing. The end.

  • It's fucking awesome how Christians were able to so accurately predict the results of this experiment. It's almost as if they are receiving some kind of divine insight which surpasses that of the leading scientists of the world.

Maybe they have discovered some 2,000 year old book, which guides their thoughts; written by some random disconnected men who often remained anonymous... because it was actually some kind of ghost writing the books through them...

  • they gonna fuck us up with that shit

  • OM NOM NOM

  • at 2:50 they probably got that image from the scary movie "the ring"

  • and this is where swiss cheese comes from

  • Even if its one chance in a billion of creating a black hole, no meter how small ! thay should stop this shit, thay have no right !

  • stupid scintists first nukes now black hole whats next?

  • @ThePresD said: stupid scintists first nukes now black hole whats next?

    ThePresD před 3 dny

    nuffin?

  • Just because you can read discover magazine doesn't mean you know the first effing thing about physics. Christ, doomsday idiocy.

  • Black holes form when a star much larger than the sun explodes. The kind of stuff we're dealing with here is negligible on the scale of stars. I can't see how this machine could "collide" anything that's even remotely capable of creating a black hole-at least, not one big enough to suck the entire planet through it.

  • Why would these bastards create that crap?

If they create, they will NOT die with that thing. If you understand me ;)

  • If Carl Sagan were alive, would he approve of the LHC? I'm sure he would.

  • Love vangelis but you are wrong about the lhc you are compromising the integrity of you tube by doing this nosense!

  • also id like to add that the higgs boson is not yet discovered and theryorised but has believed to give particles and atoms mass.

  • what they are trying to do is recreate the big bang no particle accelerator has ever reached 1 TeV of power the hardon collider is expected to reach seven TeV fireing two proton at the spped of light but what proton they are looking for is the higgs boson pro ton

  • Do you actually think that this puts the planet in danger? There is no danger from microscopic black holes not to mention that Hawking radiation will destroy them in a matter of microseconds.

  • @HaveFaithInScience i agree only black hole big as our planet can swallow it but a microscopic one has no danger even if it gets bigger it will soon die because the LHC is designed to do it

  • That's Carl Sagan music!

  • There have been no microscopic black holes observed in nature, and black holes require a star atleast 3 times that of our sun, and last I checked the Earth has less mass than the Sun. Do study science and relativity before making fools of yourselves and your crazy doomsday theories. Oh and 2012 will happen, and so will 2013, 2014, and even 2015.

  • this is what the scientists want......proof of no god....but in order to do that......we have to get consumed in a atom warped black hole!

  • What a bunch of crybabies

    No guts no glory man!

  • Absolutely fascinating!

  • a microscopic black hole can do that?! lol

  • Information would not be lost

  • Lol, hawking radiation would annihilate a blackhole instantly as it forms, besides, high into the upper atmosphere of our planet, cosmic radiation and particles collide Daley wit each other that have energies which are far greater than the LHC can ever produce and we are still here so there is nothing to worry about ^^

  • @JaapVSW

Your argument fails (and so does your spelling). Hawking radiation is just a theory that has no actual proof to confirm its existence. Even if Hawking's radiation theory was accurate, it is based on cosmic radiation, nothing concerning radiation within Earth's atmosphere (especially underground). Please do more research before you start making assumptions. The possibility of a MBH not vaporising due to support from Earth's magnetic field is quite possible.

  • @Arcanex1982 Good to know, so when two high energy particles from cosmic radiation with a higher energy and a higher velocity than the particles that the LHC produces collide, they can not create a MBH? (rhetorical question)

From what you're telling me, if a MBH would appear anywhere near Earth, it just would travel to it's core and would do exactly the same what you just mentioned. From what I can tell, we're still here.

  • @Arcanex1982 Dude, Hawking radiation is proven. We observe thermal radiation being emitted from black holes and a strong collection of positive quantum thermal particles surrounding them. Besides, you completely fail at understanding this radiation thing. The radiation is formed from quantum fluctuations out of nothing! It is new matter from quantum fluctuations. The black hole sucks in the antimatter preventing annihilation and the positive creates the thermal radiation.

  • @JaapVSW

It could very well go undeteced and pass straight through the LHC due to its ALMOST non-existent interaction with atoms, travel to the centre of the Earth because of the gravity and slowly start to accrete matter, growing and growing until it destroys Earth. These scientists seem to have no care for the precautionary principle. God help us.

  • DUDE THE BLACK HOLE IS GOING AWAY WITHIN A MILLIONTH OF A SECOND... DOES ANYBODY LISTEN ME? omg

  • I have a black hole under my kitchen sink. It never bothers anyone so I just leave it alone.

  • @TheRussianFever

No slamming protons together releases energy, the higgs boson is what they are looking for, i never said it was made to make energy, thats just what partical accelerators do.

  • "......a report has concluded."

    Bull!!!.

What report? By whom? With what qualifications? That has published what papers?

This is one huge steaming pile.

  • This video is all over Youtube and it's WRONG. The accretion will occur at the core, not the surface. On the surface will be massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions as accretion friction builds up heat and pressure. And then everything just starts collapsing inwards.

  • "A report has concluded"? What report???

  • A report? I guess you didn't feel like mentioning which report in particular? Or at least what the report used as evidence for its conclusion?

  • Seeing this creeps me out,but its AWESOME

  • keeping in mind that a black hole lies under the category of Theoretical physics. We dont have proof black holes can even be made, nor factually exist yet. I'm sure we'll find out though.

  • Well guys, the LHC has been making a few million mini black holes since last tuesday, and I'm still happily driving around Geneva.... Oh! wait a minute.... my watch suddenly skipped one hour!!!

oh yes... I forgot... it's summertime again.

  • Black Holes, Expansion/Contraction of Space, Time Warp are all Conjectures without concrete evidence. Like infinity, they help us solve scientific problems. LHC is a man made machine to conduct experiments. Nuclear Medicine shall benefit from it helping to eradicate diseases providing accurate diagnostics, curing ailments at subatomic level. Charlatans shall make a packet beguiling ignorant masses. If masses were educated they would not have been asking dumb questions. Educate yourself. .

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @ElectricLedRevolver

    poopypants - poopypants harmonic orchestra

  • Blackhole sun, won't you come, and wash away the rain?

  • do you morons actually think that the goverment wud let this run if there was a chance if it killing all of us HA!!!! It wudent be running if it wasm idiots, plus they've already done a bunch of testing and no black hole so there u have it, dont panic guys, also for the 2012 worriers, it wont happen, so dont panic morons

  • I honestly don't care if there is a black hole produced. we wouldn't have any more than 2 seconds to feel pain.

  • Well the collider is up and running and guess what? NO BLACK HOLES!!! How stupid do you fools feel now? It has to be embarrassing. You guys are just like the idiots who thought the second coming of Christ was going to happen in the year 2000. HAHAHAHAHA fucking morons.

  • @Xandershogun

You realise the word MICROSCOPIC black holes? I'm not saying I totally believe in it but the black holes would be too small to see at first, but get larger.

  • @Xandershogun lol. the back hole was never going to happen. but tbh have you not noticed all the fucking earthquakes. strange lights. volcanoes? something is happening. and its all happened after they turned the LHC on... dont call people morons for worrying about the safety of earth.

  • @tomodaninja Right, because before the LHC was on, there was no earthquake or volcanoes, war didn't exist, dogs were talking and my father was Darth Vador.... scientists have turned the garden of eden into hell. Next step is that they take over the world with their black-hole generating guns !

  • @Didou82 wow bit far? just stating a fact mate. not my problem if you forgot to take your pills this morning..... so many retards on the internet.

  • @Xandershogun

It will take time for the black hole to grow. No actual physicist ever said the process would be instantaneous. Will the process take 5 years or 50 years? No one knows.

This video is wrong. The accretion will take place at the Earth's core, not the surface.

  • @Xandershogun Do you think like all your high school buddies?

  • LOL and there always bound to be a saboteur that will probably make sure this machine will never work again due to their heavenly concern.

If this does creates black holes it shows that humans are capable in destroying every planet out there.

  • HAHA!!! let the blackhole consumes the entire planet

  • @ja0129

The chance of it creating a black hole big enough, is billions and billions to one... carry on dreaming

  • RE; Title and Informaton box of this video.

Ha, this is just a montage of unrelated CGI clips, badly strung together with some elevator music, and you have the front to say it is a conclusive report and that our planet is in danger. Grow a pair.

  • Comment removed

  • It's actually very unlikely that anything drastic will happen to the planet. I think everyone can rest easy.

  • Nvm i found the song myself for all those wonder what it is its..

    Alpha by Vangelis

  • could you guys please tell me the name of this song? thank you

  • i don't really understand how some of you can consider ANYONE an expert on something they have only SEEN THROUGH A TELESCOPE!!!

  • if you walk into a room and someone lets out a fart just before you got there, you don't need to hear it or see the persons face to know it happened. there are other ways of understanding something without seeing it. people who believe in god wont see him till they die, but "god" forbid if you tell them a priest cant be an expert on the subject.

  • you can see gas particles. Not with the naked eye but gas is still physically there. It appeals to our senses as well. Not sight nor hearing but smell.

  • are they insane? making a black hole? Ugh

  • its called a mini black hole ..it doesnt have the energy to suck in an atom ..how do u think it will affect the earth? retard.

  • @sidewaysfcs0718 nobodey knows what it can suck in no matter what u can only know somethign by seeing it up close

  • u cant see a proton up close.

the mini black holes' event horizon would be smaller than a proton ..they wouldnt have enough energy to suck in another proton ...and somehow u think they can suck the whole planet in?

and they evaporate before they get to suck in any matter ...particles much more powerfull than theese mini black holes hit the earth all the time.

  • that may be true that they are to small but anything is posible.

science is just thyories no matter what if it has bin proven true they still call it a thyorie because anything can happen

  • oh yeah, i guess your an Atheist then huh retard

  • And I suppose that Because these people ARE PROFFESORS IN THIER FEILDS OF PARTICAL PHYSICS you know better than them.

If it does make a black hole it will be so increadbly minute that it won't have the power to suck in a single atom. end of. now people, stop being dumb asses about this because you know virtually nothing compaired to these people.

  • replace the sun with a black hole of the same mass and nothing would change in the gravitational pull on it's surroundings.

So how can a microscopic black hole with a lifespan of 10^-umpteenth seconds pose any threat? It will not travel the distance of a protons width before it's decayed.

It's all in the same theory as the origin of it. So if you believe a black hole is created, you MUST believe it's gone the moment it has traveled a protons width.

  • Trancemad, so enlighten me...where is the Russia missile wreckage?? You guessed it! Nothing! Oh, and by the way, what kind of missile makes a static spiral with an expanding hole?? For your sake, I hope you are note this nieve. The media also said 9/11 was carried out by 19 Arabs with boxcutters who couldn't manage to get a single engine Cesna off the the ground, but they were able to direct 3 commercial jets with pin point accuracy traveling at 697 mph. LMAO! Keep drinking that Kool Aid idiot!

  • @Trancemad, look, I can't help if your little mind can piece these things together.

  • hahaha Wow!!! A few collapsed hydrogen particles causing the collapse of the whole billion galaxy universe. Science fiction when it's at it's best.

No, but seriusly, the gravity of a black hole doesn't exceed the gravity of the original matter that went into creating the black hole. A few particles would not even suck in the other particles in the stream. A microscopic black hole would (de)collapse in a matter of nanoseconds.

  • Norway Spiral EXPLAINED...

    /watch?v=ALx4OlNQQAo

2012 and Ascension - Open Your MIND...

  • Save billions and go fishing.

  • and here i thought i wouldn't find any more of these ridiculous videos. and for a while i thought everyone realized that there is nothing to worry about. i will attempt to clear this up:

Fact: black holes can suck things in

Fact: the LHC will make black holes

here is where the confusion starts. a black hole can be thought of as a point mass (meaning mass with no volume) now imagine taking the mass of a star and squeezing it to a point. you still have a lot of mass and still have the same pull

  • there is more:

now imagine a proton, who's mass negligible compared to a star. and it shrinks to a point mass, you still have the same pull as a proton... ooo wait they dont pull very much...

at this point one can make an argument that it can pull in more elementary particles and gain mass... but not so, because it will disintegrate in a fraction of a second. not giving it enough time to expand

    i hate these videos...

  • "Fact: the LHC will make black holes"

I think you may need to lay off using such absolute terms when dealing with a -theoretical physics- experiment. They have posited a -risk- that it -may- happen, not that it will 100% happen. There's an infinitesimally small chance of a black hole even forming, and at that point, its 50/50 again as to what happens, making it half-again as infinitesimally small that the earth is in any sort of peril

  • i think you MAY need to do more research (do you like how i avoid the absolute term.) plus when the LHC is turned on it is no longer theoretical, it is experimental. you don't experiment on some thing that is theory, theory is derived (usually though mathematics) when some thing is experimental, meaning it is observed. by saying its a theoretical physics experiment, you make a contradictory statement.

nothing is 100% for sure, but the chances are quite large that it will, research...

  • "you don't experiment on some thing that is theory"

This is exactly what you are testing in an experiment, a theory/hypothesis (Which are mutually exclusive).

Plus, theories in scientific experimentation usually stay as theories even after results are produced. Even theories most scientifically-inexperienced people would lable as 'fact' are still labled as 'theory' by scientists. (Also, sarcasm doesn't help strengthen your position ;3 )

  • when you refer the "theoretical physics", that means that it has not been tested, nor do the means exist to test it. it exists mathematically. a prime example of this is string theory. we as of now do not have the means of testing this, when the LHC fires up, we then will be closer to solving this. although yes when speaking strictly science you are correct in your conventions, but not all fields in science use the same terminology or conventions.

  • i have no doubt that energy can be transmitted wirelessly up to 20 feet on a good sized tesla coil, however i doubt that that it can go throughout the world, the energy transmitted from a point goes down linearly i believe the further you get away from it. the voltages involved in even a small scale one can ionize oxygen making ozone, which is a large part of smog. birds and insects navigation will be disturbed. electronics will be disrupted, you don't know what your talking about!!

  • FAIL!!! experiments like this have been done hundreds of times before, so NO! its not all just theory. Accelerators have been used for years.

  • yes you are correct, they have been thus why it is NOT theoretical. but they have not been done on the same scale as the one they are building... read more context...

  • its a collider which slams like energy fields into each other to create a reaction of positive energy. Positive + Positive = a Positive reaction, black holes are negative energy fields. They can't possibly make black holes. It's physically impossible. I suggest those who disagree to take a Quantum Mechanics class and study V.J. Montemayor.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor

They slam protons into each other which is not an energy field, it is matter!

Einstiens theory of relativity states that any matter compressed greatly enough will collapse into a black hole.

  • @AwsomeAthiest LOL Einstein, he was totally discredited by Tesla in 1922 when his Energy = Mass times Constant squared theory was destroyed. You know the theory he won a 1922 Nobel Prize for? Steven Hawking finished Einsteins theory off in the mid 90's. Albert Einstein was a figure head with a gland that was 1.5 times the size of a normal person. This was why he could do complex equations, he wasn't very smart as far as common sense, he had none. Tesla was the greatest scientific mind ever.

  • MasterWitchDoctor@AwsomeAthiest To believe the LHC could create black holes based on a fraud like Einsteins theories is just retarded. It has run 3 times now and guess what? NO BLACK HOLES. You need to quit believing in Einstein, the guy couldn't fathom Disney's animation when he used Einstein in his shows. The guy had no common sense, that was why his first grade teacher thought he was retarded. BTW the Piaget IQ test was first used on Einstein. Study child psyche and Jean Piaget.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor

And the fact that not a single test designed to disprove his theory has ever worked, means nothing to you ?

The fact that the equation e=mc2 is used daily to calculate the exchange of matter to energy in nuclear power stations preventing nuclear meltdown also means nothing to you ?

The equation e=mc2 is the EXACT reason the LHC has had to be built, as sometings energy increases so does its mass, thus requiring a larger more powerfull partical accelarator.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor

Ill give you a peace of advice my friend.

1 Stop reading storys you found on the internet.

2 Read a book written by a qualified proffessional in the field of physics

I would sugest "The elegant universe" by brian greene, as a good first read.

  • @AwsomeAthiest LOL stories found on the internet, like the crap you're trying to preach here. First off, I get my info from the text books I bought in college that cost me a few hundred dollars. They're used in colleges all over the world to TEACH PHYSICS. No one is more qualified to write a physics books than the over 100 Ph. D's that wrote mine. Second, if this Brian Greene aligns himself with the fraud known as Albert Einstein then I rest my case, you're a complete know nothing dumb ass.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor

Your a total fking moron, you say that you get your information from physics books, and you go on to discredit brian greene who is a proffessor of mathmatics and physics, then you say e=mc2 is bogus dispite the fact you can find information on it from sources such as nasa.

Dark matter isnt even testable HOW THE FK can you say it creates something that you cant measure, show me 1 peice of evidence that proves that!

  • @AwsomeAthiest Something you can't measure like the electron on a Hydrogen atom? before you start to spew things that you can'tr back up I suggest you strudy Niels Bohr, and learn about Angstroms.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor ..... I don't mean to get ugly, so I apologize for the ass comment.... honestly I don't usually talk or argue with people like yourself so I'm not going to take the time to explain myself to some1 who could care less about what I have to say.... good luck to u bud. and try not to call too many people "Fool", some have hunted people down for less, but I'm from the stix in Arkansas

  • @charles54l ROFL@HUNTING PEOPLE DOWN. I am not going to waste my time explaining what a mistake that will be but there are 2 words that say it all, JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE. Just because you are from Arkansas means zilch, I am from South Florida and went to college in Tennessee at MTSU. Idle threats online only make me ROFL. So enjoy your life in the Ozarks eating opossum stew. I'll leave incest to those with a more detailed imagination than mine.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor And yes, I was raised in Arkansas but I have lived in different locations for an extended time and will probably reside in Austin till I retire and move back... it's beautiful and peacefull here, sorry u feel that way. Good luck again.

  • @MasterWitchDoctor lol... if you only knew the extent of deception involved with our great "text books" and education system you would cry.... everything in this world is about making a dollar.. manipulation is an amazingly negative thing.

  • @charles54l This thing has been run several times and guess what? No black holes fool. Einstein was wrong more than he was right. The greatest scientist of all time wasn't Albert, it was Nicoli Tesla then Fritz Haber. Stephen Hawkings destroyed the Energy = Mass time Constant squared theory and made it null and void just like Tesla told Einstein back in 1922 when he won the Nobel prize for it. As far as those textbooks goes, they're written by Ph D's. Where is your doctorate degree?

  • @MasterWitchDoctor ..... no matter how much you think that your doctorate degree makes you "smarter" or "more knowledgable" it doesn't make any sense... maybe if tesla or einstein (as dumb as u think he is) where here they could persuade me otherwise, but I have put 5yrs into my bachelors degree and honestly it taught me nothing that I could not have taught myself in half the time.. you are preaching to the wrong person... and the only fool I see on here is your narrowminded pompas ass.

  • @AwsomeAthiest LOL, I have a degree in biochemist fool. I've had 4 physics classes including Quantum Mechanics. Anyone who's ever had physics would know colliding particles CAN NOT create black holes it creates DARK MATTER. Learn some before you speak out because I have had the lectures and the labs. As far as Einsteins theory, he was totally discredited by Tesla and Stephen Hawking. the whole Energy = Mass times Constant Squares theory is bogus. If black holes exist why are we still here?

  • @AwsomeAthiest I said nothing about me myself hunting any1 down. I have heard stories tho lol. I'm more of a peacefull person. I was just trying to get across to you that some people might respond a lot differently than others when they are comfronted and spoken to by people like yourself and the way that you speak.

  • @charles54l nd yes, I was raised in Arkansas but I have lived in different locations for an extended time and will probably reside in Austin till I retire and move back... it's beautiful and peacefull here, sorry u feel that way. Good luck again.

  • @Everyone Hawking Radiation Theory says that a black hole of that size will dissapear in less then a millionth of a second. Other anti-LHC theories can also be shot down in less words then that. Like antimatter weapons, it would take a billion years to collect enough antimatter to equal the energy of an atomic weapon. And stranglets, well, the Earth is hit by proton beams all the time, yet we are still here.

  • @ryandelmain BTW, Did you know there is more then enough energy in the human body to destroy the world? Thats right. Now all you conspiracy therorist fuck offs go kill yourself so we turn you into bombs. heheheheh.... 8-)

  • @AwsomeAthiest

It takes atleast 3 solar masses to make a black hole. These accelerators will not make one. If this video and your premise is true, then the Earth would not have been born.

  • @ArcyTheFurryArcanine Ofcourse a micro black hole can be made, they will deminish very quickly, but they still made.

  • @andres5501

If they are evaporated, then why would they be a concern?

  • @ArcyTheFurryArcanine They are not a concern. If they are gone in less than 1 second why would they be a concern?

  • @andres5501

I never said they were, Im asking the same question. People are for some reason making up these doomsday myths

  • @andres5501

actually its less than 2 nano-seconds

  • @AwsomeAthiest thats the opposite of any of einsteins theories he was a major proponent of blackholes saying that it was against nature for a blackhole to exist. try researching something before you go spouting off bullshit

  • @derickhaywood

    Im talking bullshit ?

Perhaps you should do your reseach, i never said Einstein said he thought black holes were possible, in fact your quite right, he diddnt, however his theories DO predict them, FACT!

    Now piss off moron.

  • @AwsomeAthiest Einstein's theory of relativity has nothing to do with black holes or compression of matter. it takes unbeleivable amounts of energy and mass to create a black hole, especially one thats stable enough to sustain itself for longer than a fraction of a second.

  • @stanjon711 Black Holes aren't holes, there just large clumps of mass from which light can't escape. You generally slam into them rather than fall into them!

  • @opticfibreuk I know. There "fallen" stars. and actually, because space/time around them is so warped & distorted you would be de-atomized before you even get close(on a cosmic scale) to it and probably wind up in another universe or something before you could even make contact with it. nothing actually touches it.

  • @AwsomeAthiest & @MasterWitchDoctor

Actually Protons/electrons are subatomic particles and not really mass at all (kinda). They only act like mass when we view them e.g. the Double Slit Experiment.

So what exactly are we slamming together in the Large Hadron Collider ? Has any one even considered the Double Slit Experiment when viewing what happens inside the Collider ? and what would happen if we turned it on with out the particle monitoring device ??

    Double Slit Experiment

  • @Sperain Can you explain why uranium which has more protons than any other atom is also the heaviest element known to man ?

Can you also explain why they need to create a partical excelerator as big as the LHC, if the particals are not mass, therfore do not get bigger when given energy as per E=MC2, and therefore there is no need for the LHC to be bigger and more powerfull since the mass, (according to you there isnt any) doesnt change ?

  • @AwsomeAthiest When measuring a proton your measuring its electromagnetic power. In fact you cant even do that, you can only measure its probability. Basically an atom is the smallest part of mass you can get ..... any thing smaller melts away in the form of some sort of energy. Even that doesn't obey our conventional laws of physics. Scientists are stuck at the moment trying to figure this out. Sometimes sub atomic particles behave like particles and some times they behave wavelike.

  • @AwsomeAthiest

The reason Why it is bigger mass length wise is because they are working on Time space matter. The manipulation of time and space. Think of HG Wells? think Think THINK!!!

  • now i should clarify that although black holes *may* be made if they are made they *probably wont* destroy the earth

  • ooo btw, "may" is a politically safe word for "will"

  • "may" is a scientific word for "may"

  • in science it is, but when CERN releases a press release or is interviewed by the press, they need to be politically accurate.

  • Where did you get this stupid shit from. show me one CERN employee who says that the Black Holes "Probably wont" destroy the earth. all the ones ive seen and heard from say NO due to Hawking Radiation

  • show me a CERN employee that says it will destroy the earth. why would you work for a company/organization that you know will kill you? you are correct, black holes are mass... mass is energy, black holes emit what they call hawking radiation which is thermal energy (black body radiation) because the black hole is giving off energy, it in thus looses mass, with a mass the size of a proton, it does not have much to loose, thus it will dissipate in a moment.

  • fyi, i recommend you don't come off so arrogant. i do not believe it will destroy the earth, but on the off chance I'm wrong i want to be on a safe platform so people cant point in say "i told you so," of course they would be dead... regardless, point being i agree with you at heart, but i don't like speaking in absolutes.

  • Folks, ask God for the truth and he will provide it. Trancemad is either too busy playing PS3 games or a paid disinfo agent.

  • How much do they pay disinformation agents these days?

  • Jesus what a fucking idiot. First you remove your comment and change your story and next you throw petty fucking insults. RUSSIA ADMITTED THAT IT WAS A FAILED ICBM in the fucking news you moron. What this obsession with making PS3 comments to? Jesus what a brain washed deluded twat. I suppose Chemtrails and Nibiru is real to you aswell. And i'm the one that playes to much PS3? LMFAO!

  • jcattera has removed his previous comment of the Norwegian lights being a Black hole. It's now a Wormhole according to this pleb. Now i asked him what scientific analysis did he undertake to prove it was either anomaly. FUCKING NONE! as he has no answer. And as the Russian's have already admitted it was a failed ICBM test i suggest you keep your tin foil hat off and keep away from the Internet. Moron

  • Here's an update to the Norway "bad missile" theory. Primarily for the moron Trancemad...

    /watch?v=d1ZKgS57x8g

  • Looks like someone needs to go back to their PS3 game.

  • Norway mini blackhole created Dec 9th, 2009. More to come unfortunately! Time is short folks!

  • That was a failed Russian Ballistic missile test. Not a black hole. Some bloody people!

  • Ya, then tell me why they are firing a missile over a civilian population then?? Damn bloody people is right!

  • It's not over a civilian population. It's an ICBM who's targetting system failed , therfore it went off course. What scientific conclusion did you draw to make it a black hole? You do realize the solar mass requirement for a Black hole of that size do'n you? I guess not. Moron

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting. I provided a video on your profile proving it was a failed ICBM and you call me a moron. And you call me unintelligent. Your a fucking idiot living in a Fantasy world of wormholes and space ships. What a fucking mong

  • Now dark matter, that is something we don't know about. Yet the Universe is full of it!

  • destroy the collider!!..

  • Monkey-s playing a gun seems to be....

  • It's science, when they fired the first nuke some said it would destroy the world. Hasnt yet but I rather die for science then die in a fema camp.

  • you forgott something.....it almost did

  • define "almost" - i personally feel that it did not almost destroy the world, the US would not have fired its nukes unless it was fired at first, and i feel the solvites had the same strategy, its called MAD mutuality assured destruction, i.e. if they will destroy us we will destroy them. so with that logic, no one would have ever fired first... however i would have to agree, there where some testy times.

  • it can't be done because it must have minimum 10 times?(i dont remember) our sun
