I wonder if Bono was inspired to start singing snippets of other songs at the end of With or Without You by Eddie Vedder's tendency to do the same thing at the end of Daughter. Pearl Jam and U2 toured together at one point, didn't they?

@mrjoehumphrey No. Bono has been doing it in the 80's 90's 00's. They've always done it. Look to the right of the screen and u can see one named U2- With or Without You/Love will tear us apart. From 1987.
