I think you missed my point. Study where this type celebration music comes from. During EGW's day this type praise did not exist, but she saw it coming. We are to be singing psalms and hymns, just as we would if we were standing in heaven before the throne. I heard a quote one time that said "We should sing and make the music that would be acceptable in a courtroom". David did not use praise type music in a worship service in the temple. It was solemn and reverent, just as would be your prayers

This is what happens when people get a little bit of knowledge and run with it. Trying to compare church to court is ridiculous to begin with. Almost ridiculous as trying to put what is or is not solemn and reverent into box. Faith is expressed in lots of ways.
