@balla4life215 From '88 to '95, the league added about 10 new teams. By the early 90's the NBA was very watered down. Look how stacked the Bulls were top to bottom. @blackezi3 The NBA was not watered down in the EARLY 90'S, From 90'-93' you can make a valid arguement the leauge was at it's peak. By 93' Charlotte and Orlando were quality teams. @blackezi3 Are you serious? Kerr averaged 8.5ppg and 2 assists/gm those years. Paxson avg 6.5ppg 3 assists/gm during his championship years. Kukoc scored 13ppg and as a forward only 2 rebounds/gm. Ron Harper 7ppg and 2 assist/gm. With the exception of Rodman these guys have a total of 0 all star selections and 0 all NBA 1st, 2nd, or 3rd teams. Scottie Pippen was good but not an all time great.Michael Jordan won 6 championships with possibly the 6 worst teams in NBA history.
@blackezi3 Bill Russell played in an incredibly weak era when basketball was in its infancy. There were few great athletes or highly skilled players at the time and for his era his team was stacked. Kareem was matched with Magic and had stacked teams. Oscar Robertson won only one championship and in a weak era. Hakeem won only 2 though on not so talented teams. @bumperboy2sports Jordan joined a losing team in 1984. His first year, they remained a losing team. The next year, they were a losing team. The third year, they posted their 3rd consecutive losing season. During Jordan's first three years, he was not able to make the Bulls into a contender. He couldn't even get them above .500. This man has a legendary will to win, but can't win Then, the Bulls add Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen, (continued)
@bumperboy2sports the next year, and the Bulls put up a winning record and advance another round of the playoffs. The Bulls keep adding players and they keep winning more and more until they win 3 titles. Jordan retires, and the Bulls only slip 2 games. He comes back the next year, and they do WORSE in the playoffs than they did the year before him. After the Bulls add Rodman and win 3 more titles, they disband the team that's MJ's career in a nutshell
for your list - I like your choices overall. I noticed you rightfully acknowledge the importance of a good center to a team's success.
My only qualms - Rick Barry, excellent player but his early contemporary Elgin Baylor and late contemporary Julius Erving were both superior forwards and more revolutionary in their advancement of the game.
The Nicks of the early 70s were one of my favorite teams but Walt over Wilt? I assume that was just sentimentalism.
@Sovnarkom Ok I switched it. But as far as talent Wilt is far better than Walt Frazier. But I look at the whole package. Like Tom Heinsohn said "its all about the fire in the belly". And I felt Walt had more will to win then Wilt, thats all
@blackezi3 BTW, Walt Frazier named his own top list of all-time greatest NBA players as 1. Wilt Chamberlain (noting the various rule changes made to contain him) 2. Bill Russell (who he said was "right behind him") 3. Oscar Robertson (who he notes "almost averaged a triple double for his entire career") 4. Jerry West 5. Michael Jordan 6. Kareem 7. Magic 8. Larry Byrd. From the Opie and Anthony show - youtube(dot)com/watch?v=3-RQ-6tqmP4&NR=1 ; 1st part - youtube(dot)com/watch?v=3t2asIwLTow .
@blackezi3 The 90's were not strong as the 80's, but not the weakest era. The weakest ERA was the 70's, were your man Jabbar played and won one title with the second best PG ever Big O, then when Magic arrived, he won five more because of Magic. Your delusional putting Hakeem over Jordan, Hakeem won when the GOAT left (Jordan), then was no where when the GOAT came back. Big O over Bird and Magic, that makes you more stupid.
@mrsoftnessful Just because you spew nonsense confidently, doesn't mean you're right lol.. Kareem was injured the other years wit Oscar. The 70's were so better than the 90's. Ever heard of the '70 and '73 Knicks, '72 LA Lakers, '74 and '76 Celtics?... Hakeem won those 2 titles by his merit, don't make excuses for Jordan. If Jordan is the GOAT, why did it take 7 years to win his first title? Had to wait for Isiah, Magic, and Bird to get old, so he could face shitty teams in the Finals lol
@blackezi3 WOW, excuses, Jordan had the worst teamates ever that 7 year span. Like everybody says "There is always room for improvement". Those seven years of Jordan was always improving his game. Every legend in his first years are going to have his downsides. OK, problaby Magic didn't have to improve shit because he won finals MVP in his rookie year.
@blackezi3 Come on man, you should know that it takes a TEAM to win a final. Comparing all of these players are ridiculous; some are centers, some are guards, two absolutely different positions. Michael Jordan is the GOAT guard of all times, imo, let's agree to disagree.
Hakeem dominated in a watered down league just like Jordan. He couldn't win until all the good big men were old or gone (Kareem, Artis, Moses, Parish, Laimbeer, etc.). Brad Daugherty said Hakeem never really had a good game against him. Even Sam Bowie dropped 30-15 on him coming off an injury. His only competition out of the West was David Robinson and they only met once in the post-season their entire careers.
@bordertown ...Huh? First of all, the 90's had plenty of great centers. Mutombo, Robinson, a young Shaq, Mourning, Ewing, Even Derrick Coleman when he wasn't crazy. I'm shocked you forgot Hakeem in the '86 playoffs/Finals when he outplayed Kareem. Then after he beat the Lakers, in the Finals went toe to toe with one of the best frontlines ever in Bird, Mchale and Parish and lost in 6... Your statement had me amazed
And how many times did those guys play against each other in a season? A couple times each, because they were cycling through 30 teams, most of whom had scrub centers. It makes their "domination" less than what it really was. Outplayed Kareem? He didn't do it alone. Hakeem had Ralph Sampson helping him in the paint throughout that title run when both of them averaged over 20 points and 10 rebounds each. Even after Ralph left and Kareem retired Houston got swept by L.A.
@kileer7 Stats don't tell the whole story. Take into account the level of competition they played against, performance in the Finals, defense, versatility, and how much they dominated their era. After that, then stats come into play. That's why Kareem and Russell are way ahead of the rest
Bob Pettit actually had more well rounded stats than Jordan (26 pts, 16 rebs, 3 ast), but is he on the level of Jordan? No not at all
10 greatest players of all time in order 1. Michael Jordan 2. Wilt Chamberlain 3. Magic Johnson 4. Larry Bird 5. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 6. Bill Russell 7. Oscar Robertson 8. Dr. J 9. Karl Malone 10. Dennis Rodman (yes the Worm, get over it, should be in the Hall of Fame)
@blackezi3 U have to be a fickin idiot to put hakeem>MJ. There's no way hakeem is better. Those 2 came into the league the same yr. MJ more accomplishment, more rings, more domiant end of story. Russell's the greatest winner, not the greatest player. Russell would not win 11 rings in any other era. Nba players(b4, durin, & after mj's era) say mj's the goat. Nba coaches, & nba analyst say it as well. The 50s60s70s was nothin like the 80s90s00s. The game completely evolved.
@hangtime23ful Russell is the greatest winner. (11 rings). WIlt is the greatest player (pts, rebounds, blocks, assists). Jordan was the NBA's most marketed whore ever. Haha...
@reno93535 Jordan beats Wilt at ast fyi. Jordan played in a WAY BETTER ERA then Wilt & B.Russell. Shaq, Hakeem, & Kareem r the top 3 centers of all time.
@hangtime23ful Well you can't penalize Wilt for playing in a different era. Shaq never had a shot outside of 4 feet. WIlt had a fallaway jumper and he was faster than Shaq. Wilt was past his prime when he went up against Kareem, but head to head his FG% was better and he constantly outrebounded Kareem. There are also vids here of Wilt blocking Kareem's hook on multiple occasions. He blcoked 6 of Kareem's shots in one game. Again, he was past his prime. Hakeem doesn't compare to these 2.
@reno93535 Wilt had to stop being the league's best scorer in order to win rings, Jordan didn't. Hakeem doesn't compare? Hakeem is the most skilled center ever. Wilt was blockin shots against scrubs & u know it. Hakeem went up against guys like 90s Shaq, D.Robinson, Ewing, Mutombo, Zo Mournin, R.Parish, Mchale, etc. Please don't try to ignore that the game evolved from then dude.
@reno93535 Yes its not Wilt's fault for playin in that era but hey u know what? That's the reality, now i'm not sayin Wilt would suck today or in Jordan's era but he wouldn't be the player he was. After Jordan's 1st 3peat guys like Jerry West, Bob Cousy, etc were sayin Jordan's the GOAT & they've seen all the eras. Pat Riley, George Karl, the nba players & the other coaches all say it the list goes on & on. These r the experts of the game.
@reno93535 Durin that time there was only 8 teams in the league. No one could compare to the size of Wilt think about it. Wilt was 7'1 275 & Shaq was 7'1 315 durin his beast yrs. Those numbers pretty much say Shaq is a biiger beast then Wilt. Shaq has never had a season where he avg'd 30ppg y? Cuz the era he played in was a tough competition. If Shaq played in the 60s era he would destroy it.
@hangtime23ful Shaq wasn't the athlete/trackstar Wilt was. Wilt was faster then Shaq. Watch some of the old vids here. Shaq wouldn't come out 12 feet to guard Wilt, and if he did, Wilt would go around him. Their speed doesn't compare. Some say if Jordan played today, he'd average 50. Back in the 60's you couldn't lower your shoulder into someone, like Shaq does today. He just bowls people over, and the league has allowed it. Not back then. No way.
@reno93535 I would more dominate goin 6 for 10 against Bruce Bowen who's one of the best perimeter defenders ever then goin 9 for 10 against Iverson who isn't a good defender at all. Shaq wouldn't have to lower his shoulder against those guys in the 60s. Shaq is the most double/triple teammed player in nba history. Jordan also went through the "Jordan Rules" which was designed to stop Jordan alone. Sorry dude but Wilt was way ahead of his time.
@reno93535 Please quit actin like the 60s players r the as good as the players today & durin Jordan's era dude. Btw Wilt's athetlicism is overrated & yeah he led the league in ast with 8.6 now a days the league leader in ast has around 10 or 11. Guys like Magic, Stockton, & Isiah Thomas in Jordan's were avg'in 12 & 13 ast a game.
@reno93535 Jordan has 6 rings 6 finals mvps, Wilt only has 2 rings & techinally was the finals mvp in both cuz that award wasn't there yet. Like i said b4 Wilt had to stop bein the league's best scorer in order to win rings while Jordan didn't have to.
@reno93535 If Wilt is obviously the GOAT then y does Jerry West, Bob cousy, Pat Riley, Magic, Bird, etc guys that actually played durin that era or witness that era says Jordan's the GOAT.
@hangtime23ful I believe what you are saying, but is there vid of those guys stating that, or is it documented. I know of Magic and Bird. But they didn't play during Wilt.
"I think that Michael, what he has done from a game that he was introduced to as a kid and learned to play, has taken that and has gone as far as you can. I don't think anyone can play this game any better than he played."
@hangtime23ful Thats called being modest. He also said his 60's teams were better than any of the teams of any era...He believed he was the best player to ever play this game and believed his teams should win every single game. That was Russell's gift
@blackezi3 Oh please with the excuses, if Bill Russell didn't think Jordan was the GOAT he never would of cared to say that. Do u have a quote or vid of Bill Russell sayin he thinks his team is the best ever of any era? I didn't make that quote up, a friend of mine "blackadam06" here on youtube always gets those kind i of quotes from coaches & players from articles. Like i said b4 the coaches & players say Jordan's the GOAT. If he wasn't then they wouldn't say it.
@blackezi3 & i don't wanna hear this "its my opinion" crap. Yes we all know its an opinion but if ur not gonna at least my a case & support ur opinion then its meaningless.
@blackezi3 My 1st post was replied to what u said, but then in my 2nd post i said that stuff cuz i expected u to start sayin ur opinions to my 1st post so i said those things in my 2nd post ahead of time.
@reno93535 Pat Riley played against Wilt & B.russell, coached against Jordan in his era & the guys in this era. Here's em sayin Jordan to him will always be the best of the best of the best & he retired Jordan's number from the heat even though Jordan never played there.
@hangtime23ful Wilt's carreer playoff FG% was 52. Not 46. MJ attempted 22.9 shots per game. Wilt attempted 22.4. MJ shot more often during the playoffs and his FG% declined slightly from his reg season FG%. WIlt had 11 rebound titles>Jordan 0. Yes, I know Jordan was a guard. But Wilt led the league in assists one year. He also led the league in FG% many years, as well as blocked shots. His ppg average during his 7 scoring titles was 39.47.
@reno93535 My bad that was his ft%, for Jordan to have his fg% that close to Wilt for bein a guard his pretty impressive. Jordan also got 3 stls titles which is an nba record. Jordan went up against better defenders, more talent, & skilled players then Wilt ever did & u know that. Jordan was more consist from beginnin to end with scorin then Wilt too. If i were to go 1on1 with Bruce Bowen make 6 outta 10 shots & make 9 outta 10 shots against someone like Allen Iverson.
Look up the KBlaze Wilt Chamberlain clip. You watch Wilt block the skyhook twice in a row. Wilt was in his late 30s and he dominated Kareem in the 1972 ECF in Game 6.
@Sage80 "Wilt was lauded for his G6 performance, which the Lakers won after trailing by 10 pts in the 4th: he scored 24 pts & 22 rebs, played a complete 48 mins & outsprinted the young Bucks center on several late fast breaks. Jerry West called it "the greatest ball-busting performance I have ever seen." He performed so well in the series that TIME stated, "In the NBA's series with Milwaukee, he (Chamberlain) decisively outplayed basketball's newest giant superstar, Jabbar, 11 years his junior."
Russell might have the most rings but he was only a great defensive player. On the offensive end he was weak. He's not the goat nor the greatest center. That title goes to Jordan.Olajuwon is the greatest center of all time, unlike Bill,he can do it on both ends, and won a ring without any hall of famers. Can Bill say that, HELL NO.Thats why bill russell doesn't get talk about that much. When people talk about greatest of all time, you hear who?Michael Jordan!
@radiolaugh, thats right. Kareem had some moves but laughable in comparison to the Dream. Dream won by himself, he NEVER had the allstar line up Kareem had as a Laker. Dream clearly dominated the likes of Shaq,Robinson,Ewing,Zo,Mutombo, etc. all in their primes!
@EmperorJBO kareem had more points.....more mvps...more chamipionships......more records in genearl.....and this goes out the window....because he had a better team?.......even when he was in Milawaukee?
what are you talking about?. U must be one of the few people in the world who think Hakeem was more better then Kareem...and yes hakeem dominated....2 chamiponships is dominated?..i would have thought playing for as many years and games and winining so many chainponships an mvps is dominating
@radiolaugh,more points for how many seasons(how many games)?Dream NEVER had someone like Oscar Robertson or Magic Johnson on his team!HELL Dream's team were NEVER as good Jabbar's teams!Olajuwon led a team with NO hall of famer/superstar and won a ring!Thats right.
@EmperorJBO How many rings did Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson win without Kareem Abdul Jabbar?
Kareem had a fall away jump shot, finger roll, and could drive the basket with spped. "All he had was the hook." Well I wanna see Hakeem shoot a skyhook from 10-12 feet from the basket.
Dream has EVERY move Kareem had and more! Dream used a sky hook against shaq in the finals 10-12 feet away. Dream won with what for his first ring? Dream would break jabbars ankles and would embarrass him the same way he did to the Admiral. Kareem doesn't have this: Dream Shake.
@EmperorJBO put in kareem abdul jabbar scoring skills. Answer my question how many rings did Big O and Magic when without Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? Hakeem did have Clyde Drexler. When Kareem was 40+ he put on 30+ performances on Olajuwon when they play against either other. Though kareem did have trouble with his quickness at his age. Yet with the shake he got two rings. How many final appeatance matter of fact how WCF appearances? He wasnt as good a rebounder or passer.
@mansamunsa,how old was drexler?Drexler was already declining by that time. and yeah Dream didn't have any elite superstar sidekicks for his first ring. thats right...none. Dream in his prime would destroy kareem.
I would like to see Dream with an Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson as teammates throughout his career.
Bill Russell only had championships and defense. He was a weak offensive player. Other than the chmpnships, Russell had nothing on Kareem. And he was only 6'9 or 6"10; he would get destroyed today. Not so Kareem.
@327372 Well, part of it is that people mostly remember the last five years Kareem was playing. By then, he had become a below-average rebounder and timid defender. But throughout most of his career, he had no peer and few, if any, weaknesses.
@327372 Early on, he was a bit aloof. But after the release of Giant Steps in '84...it really brought him out of his shell. Plus the 1985 NBA Finals...JEZ! Wish he was still playing for the Lakers. They should bring him in for the last quarter...if that skyhook is still 1/2 as good as it used to be...
To me Jordan's not top 10 but he is still a great player but when you see him average 37.1 ppg you just see that you don't see that he shot the ball on average 28 times per game that was a detriment to his team when you force shots and play selfish basketball plus on top of that his teams were all sub .500 until pippen and Phil jackson came along and forced jordan to limit the volume of shots he took.

After the Bulls add Rodman and win 3 more titles, they disband the team that's MJ's career in a nutshell

great interview, thx for sharing.
for your list - I like your choices overall.
Sovnarkom 7 months ago
@Sovnarkom Ok I switched it. But as far as talent Wilt is far better than Walt Frazier. But I look at the whole package. Like Tom Heinsohn said "its all about the fire in the belly". And I felt Walt had more will to win then Wilt, thats all
blackezi3 6 months ago

Big O over Bird and Magic, that makes you more stupid.
mrsoftnessful 5 months ago
@mrsoftnessful Just because you spew nonsense confidently, doesn't mean you're right lol.. Kareem was injured the other years wit Oscar. The 70's were so better than the 90's. Ever heard of the '70 and '73 Knicks, '72 LA Lakers, '74 and '76 Celtics?... Hakeem won those 2 titles by his merit, don't make excuses for Jordan. If Jordan is the GOAT, why did it take 7 years to win his first title? Had to wait for Isiah, Magic, and Bird to get old, so he could face shitty teams in the Finals lol
blackezi3 5 months ago
@blackezi3 WOW, excuses, Jordan had the worst teamates ever that 7 year span. Like everybody says "There is always room for improvement". Those seven years of Jordan was always improving his game. Every legend in his first years are going to have his downsides. OK, problaby Magic didn't have to improve shit because he won finals MVP in his rookie year.
mrsoftnessful 5 months ago
@blackezi3 Come on man, you should know that it takes a TEAM to win a final. Comparing all of these players are ridiculous; some are centers, some are guards, two absolutely different positions. Michael Jordan is the GOAT guard of all times, imo, let's agree to disagree.
ThaSwagmonster 3 months ago
@blackezi3
His only competition out of the West was David Robinson and they only met once in the post-season their entire careers.
bordertown 1 month ago
@bordertown ...Huh? First of all, the 90's had plenty of great centers. Mutombo, Robinson, a young Shaq, Mourning, Ewing, Even Derrick Coleman when he wasn't crazy. I'm shocked you forgot Hakeem in the '86 playoffs/Finals when he outplayed Kareem. Then after he beat the Lakers, in the Finals went toe to toe with one of the best frontlines ever in Bird, Mchale and Parish and lost in 6... Your statement had me amazed
blackezi3 1 month ago
@blackezi3
Even after Ralph left and Kareem retired Houston got swept by L.A.
bordertown 1 month ago
I strongly disagree with that list. Especially Jordan rank 7th. That's as high I've ever seen anybody rank Mike. How disrespectful.

The game completely evolved.
hangtime23ful 1 year ago
@hangtime23ful Russell is the greatest winner. (11 rings). WIlt is the greatest player (pts, rebounds, blocks, assists). Jordan was the NBA's most marketed whore ever. Haha...

@reno93535 Jordan beats Wilt at ast fyi. Jordan played in a WAY BETTER ERA then Wilt & B.Russell. Shaq, Hakeem, & Kareem r the top 3 centers of all time.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@hangtime23ful Well you can't penalize Wilt for playing in a different era. Shaq never had a shot outside of 4 feet. WIlt had a fallaway jumper and he was faster than Shaq. Wilt was past his prime when he went up against Kareem, but head to head his FG% was better and he constantly outrebounded Kareem. There are also vids here of Wilt blocking Kareem's hook on multiple occasions. He blcoked 6 of Kareem's shots in one game. Again, he was past his prime. Hakeem doesn't compare to these 2.
reno93535 11 months ago
@reno93535 Wilt had to stop being the league's best scorer in order to win rings, Jordan didn't. Hakeem doesn't compare? Hakeem is the most skilled center ever. Wilt was blockin shots against scrubs & u know it. Hakeem went up against guys like 90s Shaq, D.Robinson, Ewing, Mutombo, Zo Mournin, R.Parish, Mchale, etc. Please don't try to ignore that the game evolved from then dude.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@reno93535 Yes its not Wilt's fault for playin in that era but hey u know what? That's the reality, now i'm not sayin Wilt would suck today or in Jordan's era but he wouldn't be the player he was. After Jordan's 1st 3peat guys like Jerry West, Bob Cousy, etc were sayin Jordan's the GOAT & they've seen all the eras. Pat Riley, George Karl, the nba players & the other coaches all say it the list goes on & on. These r the experts of the game.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@reno93535 Durin that time there was only 8 teams in the league. No one could compare to the size of Wilt think about it. Wilt was 7'1 275 & Shaq was 7'1 315 durin his beast yrs. Those numbers pretty much say Shaq is a biiger beast then Wilt. Shaq has never had a season where he avg'd 30ppg y? Cuz the era he played in was a tough competition. If Shaq played in the 60s era he would destroy it.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@hangtime23ful Shaq wasn't the athlete/trackstar Wilt was. Wilt was faster then Shaq. Watch some of the old vids here. Shaq wouldn't come out 12 feet to guard Wilt, and if he did, Wilt would go around him. Their speed doesn't compare. Some say if Jordan played today, he'd average 50. Back in the 60's you couldn't lower your shoulder into someone, like Shaq does today. He just bowls people over, and the league has allowed it. Not back then. No way.
reno93535 11 months ago
@reno93535 I would more dominate goin 6 for 10 against Bruce Bowen who's one of the best perimeter defenders ever then goin 9 for 10 against Iverson who isn't a good defender at all. Shaq wouldn't have to lower his shoulder against those guys in the 60s. Shaq is the most double/triple teammed player in nba history. Jordan also went through the "Jordan Rules" which was designed to stop Jordan alone. Sorry dude but Wilt was way ahead of his time.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@reno93535 Please quit actin like the 60s players r the as good as the players today & durin Jordan's era dude. Btw Wilt's athetlicism is overrated & yeah he led the league in ast with 8.6 now a days the league leader in ast has around 10 or 11. Guys like Magic, Stockton, & Isiah Thomas in Jordan's were avg'in 12 & 13 ast a game.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@reno93535 Jordan has 6 rings 6 finals mvps, Wilt only has 2 rings & techinally was the finals mvp in both cuz that award wasn't there yet. Like i said b4 Wilt had to stop bein the league's best scorer in order to win rings while Jordan didn't have to.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@reno93535 If Wilt is obviously the GOAT then y does Jerry West, Bob cousy, Pat Riley, Magic, Bird, etc guys that actually played durin that era or witness that era says Jordan's the GOAT.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@hangtime23ful I believe what you are saying, but is there vid of those guys stating that, or is it documented. I know of Magic and Bird. But they didn't play during Wilt.

@reno93535 Quote from Bill Russell.
"I think that Michael, what he has done from a game that he was introduced to as a kid and learned to play, has taken that and has gone as far as you can. I don't think anyone can play this game any better than he played."
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@hangtime23ful Thats called being modest. He also said his 60's teams were better than any of the teams of any era...He believed he was the best player to ever play this game and believed his teams should win every single game. That was Russell's gift
blackezi3 11 months ago
@blackezi3 Oh please with the excuses, if Bill Russell didn't think Jordan was the GOAT he never would of cared to say that. Do u have a quote or vid of Bill Russell sayin he thinks his team is the best ever of any era? I didn't make that quote up, a friend of mine "blackadam06" here on youtube always gets those kind i of quotes from coaches & players from articles. Like i said b4 the coaches & players say Jordan's the GOAT. If he wasn't then they wouldn't say it.

@reno93535 Jordan 10 scorin titles > Wilt 7, career Jordan 30.12ppg > Wilt 30.07ppg. Try these numbers on for size bro.
Reg. season Wilt 30.07ppg, 22.9rpg, 4.4apg, 54.0fg%
Playoffs Wilt 22.5ppg, 24.5rpg, 4.2apg, 46.5fg%
Reg. season Jordan 30.12ppg, 6.3rpg, 5.3apg, 49.7fg%
Playoffs Jordan 33.45ppg, 6.4rpg, 5.7apg, 48.7fg%
As u can see Wilt's numbers lowered durin playoff time (when it matters most) while Jordan rose his level of play in the playoffs.
hangtime23ful 11 months ago
@hangtime23ful Wilt's carreer playoff FG% was 52. Not 46. MJ attempted 22.9 shots per game. Wilt attempted 22.4. MJ shot more often during the playoffs and his FG% declined slightly from his reg season FG%. WIlt had 11 rebound titles>Jordan 0. Yes, I know Jordan was a guard. But Wilt led the league in assists one year. He also led the league in FG% many years, as well as blocked shots. His ppg average during his 7 scoring titles was 39.47.
reno93535 11 months ago
@reno93535 My bad that was his ft%, for Jordan to have his fg% that close to Wilt for bein a guard his pretty impressive. Jordan also got 3 stls titles which is an nba record. Jordan went up against better defenders, more talent, & skilled players then Wilt ever did & u know that. Jordan was more consist from beginnin to end with scorin then Wilt too. If i were to go 1on1 with Bruce Bowen make 6 outta 10 shots & make 9 outta 10 shots against someone like Allen Iverson.

@Sage80 "Wilt was lauded for his G6 performance, which the Lakers won after trailing by 10 pts in the 4th: he scored 24 pts & 22 rebs, played a complete 48 mins & outsprinted the young Bucks center on several late fast breaks. Jerry West called it "the greatest ball-busting performance I have ever seen." He performed so well in the series that TIME stated, "In the NBA's series with Milwaukee, he (Chamberlain) decisively outplayed basketball's newest giant superstar, Jabbar, 11 years his junior."

replace hakeem with Wilt.
Sage80 1 year ago
Russell might have the most rings but he was only a great defensive player. On the offensive end he was weak. He's not the goat nor the greatest center. That title goes to Jordan.Olajuwon is the greatest center of all time, unlike Bill,he can do it on both ends, and won a ring without any hall of famers. Can Bill say that, HELL NO.Thats why bill russell doesn't get talk about that much. When people talk about greatest of all time, you hear who?Michael Jordan!
EmperorJBO 1 year ago
@EmperorJBO olajuwon is better then Kareem? What?
radiolaugh 1 year ago
@radiolaugh, thats right. Kareem had some moves but laughable in comparison to the Dream. Dream won by himself, he NEVER had the allstar line up Kareem had as a Laker. Dream clearly dominated the likes of Shaq,Robinson,Ewing,Zo,Mutombo, etc. all in their primes!
What are you talking about?
EmperorJBO 1 year ago
@EmperorJBO kareem had more points.....more mvps...more chamipionships......more records in genearl.....and this goes out the window....because he had a better team?.......even when he was in Milawaukee?
what are you talking about?. U must be one of the few people in the world who think Hakeem was more better then Kareem...and yes hakeem dominated....2 chamiponships is dominated?..i would have thought playing for as many years and games and winining so many chainponships an mvps is dominating
radiolaugh 1 year ago
@radiolaugh,more points for how many seasons(how many games)?Dream NEVER had someone like Oscar Robertson or Magic Johnson on his team!HELL Dream's team were NEVER as good Jabbar's teams!Olajuwon led a team with NO hall of famer/superstar and won a ring!Thats right.
One on One.
Dream >Jabbar.
All Jabbar really had was that hook.
Dream had over 20 moves.
EmperorJBO 1 year ago
@EmperorJBO so like i said....all that goes out the window i guess then here
and by ur logic jordan isnt as good as karl malone cus jordan had phil jackson and scottie pippen.......well malone did have stocktonn.....
radiolaugh 1 year ago
@radiolaugh,Jordan is the greatest of all time. No discussion asked on that one.
Malone had Stockton,Hornacek,and Sloan.
Had Jordan played more games, he would have the most points of all time.He had WAY more moves than Malone.
I don't get you.
I'll take Dream over any center.
Bill Russell is overrated as fuck. I had to get that off my chest.
He was great on one end and sucked on the other.
Look at how many hall of famers he had?
EmperorJBO 1 year ago
@EmperorJBO How many rings did Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson win without Kareem Abdul Jabbar?
Kareem had a fall away jump shot, finger roll, and could drive the basket with spped. "All he had was the hook." Well I wanna see Hakeem shoot a skyhook from 10-12 feet from the basket.
mansamunsa 9 months ago
@mansamunsa, fall away?????
EmperorJBO 9 months ago
@EmperorJBO put in kareem abdul jabbar scoring skills. Answer my question how many rings did Big O and Magic when without Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? Hakeem did have Clyde Drexler. When Kareem was 40+ he put on 30+ performances on Olajuwon when they play against either other. Though kareem did have trouble with his quickness at his age. Yet with the shake he got two rings. How many final appeatance matter of fact how WCF appearances? He wasnt as good a rebounder or passer.
mansamunsa 9 months ago
@mansamunsa,how old was drexler?Drexler was already declining by that time. and yeah Dream didn't have any elite superstar sidekicks for his first ring. thats right...none. Dream in his prime would destroy kareem.
I would like to see Dream with an Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson as teammates throughout his career.
EmperorJBO 9 months ago
Bill Russell only had championships and defense. He was a weak offensive player. Other than the chmpnships, Russell had nothing on Kareem. And he was only 6'9 or 6"10; he would get destroyed today. Not so Kareem.
CyrusTab 1 year ago
@CyrusTab: yes. Kareem was statistically the greatest of all time. i have no idea why hes so underrated? the man is the nba's all time leading scorer
327372 1 year ago
@327372 Well, part of it is that people mostly remember the last five years Kareem was playing. By then, he had become a below-average rebounder and timid defender. But throughout most of his career, he had no peer and few, if any, weaknesses.
CyrusTab 1 year ago
@327372 Early on, he was a bit aloof. But after the release of Giant Steps in '84...it really brought him out of his shell. Plus the 1985 NBA Finals...JEZ! Wish he was still playing for the Lakers. They should bring him in for the last quarter...if that skyhook is still 1/2 as good as it used to be...
