  • Qatar Airways is by far the best airline i have flown with! They are so helpful and so so so organised. Shame about the Doha airport, it doesn't do them justice. I hope they move to the new state of the art airport they are building. British airways can be a joke and bloody expensive. I especially love flying on the B777. Very spacious and comfortable. Great feeling. mmm

  • @747ivie Yeah i've heard great things about them, but unfortunetly don't fly from newcastle or Perth, Australia. Which makes it very expensive to get down to london and down to Oz from Qatar on seperate flights.

  • fuk ba

  • this looks like an amasing simulator

  • 6:40 You can see Windsor Castle.

  • Haven't worked out why so many Aussies go to the UK and live in that cold, expensive place? Qantas are a great Airline but are slowly being over run by the likes of Etihad / Emirates. As for flights to the USA I cannot understand why Qantas did not get the 777. Its such a brilliant aircraft to fly on. V Australia are the pick for me going there. Good Vidio but.... love the 747 and those big rollers

  • @signature1990 They come over here for the culture, and a change of scene. Just like we go over there for a nice change of scene and warm weather!

  • @adamski895RS sounds fair but culture....? think you will find more in a yoghurt container.....

  • @signature1990 I often wonder why anyone wants to come to this cold, expensive place?

  • @signature1990 Australia is also an expensive place and has many things that can't be offered by Europe. Also London is one of the world's best cities.

  • @RobertNicholls yep you are correct. Australia is stuffed as far as cost goes. We can thank the unions and their idiot wage demands in the last couple of decades. London is a great city I suppose, full of bigots, racists and street gangs, drunk yobbos, crime, unemployment. Yeap just like Sydney. Actually Sydney is worse I think.

  • @signature1990 There are few routes in the Qantas network that are truly suited to the 777. Asia can be handled by an A330 more efficiently than a 777. Beyond Asia you only have places like LHR and LAX which are routes of enormous capacity and require aircraft like the 747 and A380.

As for why people come to the UK. London is a huge money spinner if you have the skills.

  • @N330AA yeah....sort of correct. The Qantas 380 is not at capacity a fair bit of the time. The last news report of a Qantas 380 flying from Singapore that diverted to Adelaide on its way to Melbourne due low fuel had 249 people on board. That is idiotic.

  • @signature1990 Could be a number of reasons for that though. Was it flying anywhere else after Singapore? It could have been due to low season, a bad time for that flight or a repositional flight for the aircraft.

  • Because Australia is even more expensive.

  • @SonicGeneration absolutely. Thanks to the idiot unions over the years who demanded outrageous pay claims and got them. Now we have essentially priced ourself out of the travel market.

  • Nive vid mate. Thats a shame about BA. I flew them and QANTAS on a round the world trip this year and they were both fantastic, albiet a liitle cramped in the BA 747's. I guess it's the luck of the draw sometimes.

  • @Toffa1985 Yeah suppose, I'm being a bit hypocritical. It's the cabin staff on the last leg of the route that were annoying me. Most of us had spent days and some weeks in airports. we were just wanting to get home. They were shouting, throwing things around in the galley, play fighting. It was like they'd be took out of school for the day to be an flight attendant. Sorry for the rant haha.

  • @adamski895RS Haha no apologies needed, I wouldn't be happy at all either. I guess I was lucky, all my flights were on time bar one-QANTAS domestic :/

  • significant!!

  • man i love snow's

  • Very nice...=)

  • where were you deviated? I was on a flight from mexico city to heathrow British airways 747 and I got deviated to shannon ireland =( 3 days stuck there.

  • Beautiful shots of the snow covered countryside/cityscape below...sorry to hear you had a bad experience with BA. Recently flew with them to JFK and back long haul myself, didn't have any problems...I guess it's just pot luck.

  • Very nice clip!

  • you shouldn't be so negative and diss low cost airlines, just becuase you expect the upmost amazing treatment by using the likes of qatas and BA does not mean that low cost airlines will provide the same service, you pay extra for a scheduled higher more exclusive/expensive airline whereas a nice cheaper low cost airline will provide a basic service yes we go all out to provide the best but you need to learn to have respect for budget airlines and stop being a 'snob'.

  • qantas sucks and tiger sucks even more

  • wow, gotta love air travel. At least you made it to your destination. Qantas is a good airline, never flown on BA before but that is horrible what they did. Screw what others say, if they were in your situation, they wouldn't be as "appreciative" as they say you should've been. great video mate!

  • @ERAUPRCWA Thanks, your comment means a lot mate

  • @adamski895RS From Sydney to Newcastle there is Emirates. Also the flight QF9 was stopping in BKK.

  • ur video is fucked and ur a shit cunt

  • Very nice video, shame about the delay at Heathrow though, i stayed at Terminal 5 until late evening to meet my sister arriving from NY.

This plane would have landed on the other runway before i arrived as i was at the taking off runway.

  • Wow, look at all that snow. Looks damn cold. I think I would stay on the Qantas plane and go back to warm Australia!

By the way, thanks for sharing. Gotta love a 747.

  • Finally a 747 video in HD, I love it, thanks for uploading!

  • Nice video, I was stuck in Iraq for 11 weeks. Not because of the aeroplanes, but because I was captured.

  • lol

  • Ungrateful!!! At least Jet2 were there to operate the flight or else you would of been delayed further! a shame they subed your flight out could have flown another service and helped families going home for xmas!

  • great approach and landing.

  • Nice vid though ;)

  • I understand you're dissapointment with the Domestic Service to Newcastle. But I have to say you're quite ungreatful. Some people have had to sleep in an airport and have not been able to get away for christmas. At least you have. There is no Business service from Heathrow to Newcastle anyway. And you would of only been given a chocolate bar or something if you were flying a normal BA flight. Deal with it mate. At least you got somewhere, even if it was using Jet2. At least it wasn't ryanair.ffs

  • @planeboy737 Well, actually BA were using the European A320's because of the delays, they DO have business..We were booked on it only to find out we have been took off? its was booked for almost 50 weeks..And what do you think i did for the first 32 hours in Singapore? Slept on the floor....we were moved flight 5 times all together. If you were in my situation your would not be calling me ungrateful.

  • @adamski895RS What do you mean European A320's? There is no such thing! The A320's get swapped around between Domestic and International. I know it was booked 50 weeks in advance. Doesn't mean you will get any different treatment to any other passenger. You were booked on a Business UK flight. But according to my own experience and my relative who has been in BA's Ground Operations since 1990, the only difference between Business UK and Economy is that you get to use the lounge!

  • @planeboy737 This is absolutely right. BA use the same aircraft for shorthaul European services and UK Domestic. The shorthaul flights do offer Club Europe (business class) but the UK Domestic flights do not. (They just convert the middle seat to get Club Europe) -there is no business class product on the UK Domestic flights. Service before 0930 would be a breakfast roll and tea/coffee and after this it would be a complimentary bar service and a sweet or savoury snack.

  • @adamski895RS Oh and I was stuck in Tampa, Florida for 6 whole days mate during the April Ash Crisis of 2010. The airline gave me nothing, but I had to deal with it. So yes I do know what i'm talking about and I do have the right to call you ungreatful. I've been in a worse situation than you mate. So don't bother. I have an answer for everything.

  • Poor you! I'm flying by my self on friday from Sweden to the US (3 stops)! I hope it all works out :| Nice vid

  • @dantorp11 Good luck, you should be okay now. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you.

  • FIRST FUCKING NICE
