(it gives me shiver now that i remembered it). anyway. her mom's face were puzzled about her reactions, or what's hunting her. is it all in her imagination? or is she pyschic or something?

@gracia102686 That's kind of the point with these stories, to be left cryptic and as vague as possible, but nightmarish as hell.

The source of the zombies is probably just the superstition of witching hour (for Japan it's about 2-3am) "when supernatural creatures such as witches, demons and ghosts are thought to appear and be at their most powerful" according to wikipedia. From what I can gather, the girl became a victim of the zombies, but reconstructed simply to distract her mother from them.
