  • What happens when you take the overcheck/sidechecks off and let him balance himself instead of bracing on the overchecks/sidechecks? How does he move without the long hooves? Lovely animal.

  • @srgodwin1962 A properly trained horse, such as this, will not balance or brace itself on the overcheck. If they are properly driving off the hind end, as this horse is, they will automatically balance themselves and not rely on the check. As far as the shoeing, of course removing the heavier shoes reduces the over all action in certain ways, but it is by no means a heavy weight. THis horse also goes under saddle as well.

  • @PhilG380 Why use the check and heavy shoes then. Show the horse as it is not as it's forced to walk.

  • ahh she's so cool i've always loved her

i was so excited to actually see her show this year with kate, she was "retired" before i started showing but had seen many pics of her and thought she was gorgeous. and she definitely is in real life (:

  • she looks amazing!

  • She's pretty game isn't she?

  • Definantly (I think I spelled that wrong xD) I actually ride Saddleseat on a Chestnut Morgan Gelding... He doesn't look half as good as her (he's basically for pleasure) but I love him anyway xD Morgans are my favorite =D

  • her head set is pretty she looks like a smooth ride

  • "Jessie" is a completely AWESOME horse to ride and drive. She's like 16.1Hands and very saddley! She was a blast. I think they are doing a lot of embryo transfers from her now.
