  • Fabulous Forehands from Federer. Say that five times fast.

  • roger legenderer

  • @SubtleNirvana agree with you (sorry for my english) Rafa was lucky in their H2H because he has played roger more on clay surfaces and (he is best ever on clay surfaces) people forget this. So agree rafa was lucky in their H2H. Davydenko leads in his H2H with Rafa because he has played Rafa more on non clay surfaces so H2H doesn't mean anything

  • @Kirikouetlasorciere1 like i said..only on clay...FEDERER THE BEST!!! :)

  • FedEx!!! Champion!!!

  • Fed come back!

  • Just imagine we would have seen this much more had they played more on non clay surfaces in their prime. The Roger of prime would have kicked the shit away from Rafa. Taking nothing away from Rafa,he is the best ever on clay,he is simply lucky that he missed Roger on any other surface when Roger was in his prime and met him only on clay mostly. That is why their h2h just doesn't justify their rivalry. Having said that,it's a fact that Rafa owns Roger in Slams.

  • @SubtleNirvana As if Nadal was ever a threat on anything but clay. There's a reason they didn't play anywhere but the French. Nadal never made it that far. Nadal was always put down by lesser players. He wasn't worthy of a final with Federer on another surface.

  • @Maniac742 totally agree...

  • @Maniac742 I won't say Nadal was never a threat on any other surface. That man played 5 consecutive Wimbledon finals and almost beat Roger there in his prime in 2007 so it's unfair to say that he isn't worthy of a final with Roger but it's a fact that he did not meet Roger when Roger was in his prime on Nadal's least preferred surface which is Hard Court. The only HC slam final they had was in 2009 when Roger was past his prime. That said,we can only speculate.Reality is in favour of Rafa.

  • @SubtleNirvana just on clay ok..everyone said roger is the best player they ever seen...not rafa...and dont forget rafa always get out early at slam too right??? then how can roger take his revenge on him if nadal always fail to the final except on clay!!!

  • @SubtleNirvana THE GREATEST PLAYER SHOULD BE GREAT ON ANY SURFACE...AND NADAL NEVER YET TO WIN FINAL ATP...INDOOR GAMES BECOZ ITS MORE FASTER...

  • @alinamahir Look the chances of Rafa winning a WTF are much lesser compared to say chances of Roger winining a french open title again.Because all these years,Roger has been the 2nd best player to Rafa while on indoor courts Rafa is clearly bettered by atleast 3-4 players which makes his job much more tough. But i hope Rafa wins the only important title missing in his resume.Roger is indeed the all time best but Rafa too is one of the best ever without any doubt.

  • @SubtleNirvana you don't think Rafa's chance of winning another WTF is better than Roger's chance winning another French? You'd be alone in that estimate lol Rafa has many more playing years in him, and he is still no. 2 in the world. Throw in an injury to Nole or Murray and his chances of winning a WTF are even better. Meanwhile, what is Fed's record against Nadal at the french? I think he's got a total of 4 or 5 sets in all their meetings If Rafa stays well the odds look bad.

  • @Aaronthegreatest Well see the record of Rafa in World Tour finals and see the Record of Roger in French Opens and you will better judge who has had more success on their weakest surfaces.By your argument i can also say that throw an injury to Rafa and then only Roger will be the last man standing in French Open.Plus,i need to mention that don't just count their matches on the basis of sets won by Roger. Except for 2008 French Open final,Roger had many many chances in all(cont)

  • @Aaronthegreatest their meetings. In 2006,2007 and 2011 he had numerous chances to take a commanding lead but as we saw he always blows it up big time against Rafa.He was in a position to win against the greatest player ever on clay but if you compare Rafa's record on his weakest surface then it is abysmal in comparison to Roger. That's why i feel that Roger has more chances of winning French Open than Rafa winning the WTF.

  • @SubtleNirvana I remember all their matches at Paris being blowouts, but I didn't really start following tennis til 2005. Idk when I saw my first French but Idk I would still take a bet with you on this one. Roger is second best on clay but Djokovic is not bad and only getting better, same with Murray. The same can't be said for Fed sooo I will be very impressed if he wins another French.

  • @Aaronthegreatest Blowouts? The matches in 2006,2007 and 2011 were extremely close! It was just a matter of 1-2 points here and there and as it usually happens,Nadal played the bigger points better. If you want to judge a match by how many sets did Roger win then certainly he won more than 1 set in 4 matches compared to what Rafa won in WTF against Roger. The best of Djokovic was in 2011 and even then he lost there to Roger, and Murray?? Sorry to say,he can't win a slam!

  • @SubtleNirvana I don't think I saw the French in 06 or 07; 2011 I did see and it was a great first set by Fed buttt then in the 2nd or 3rd he just went away. It's like one little setback for him on that surface against Nadal and he loses his confidence, so I don't see him beating Nadal there, esp. as he's getting older. Nole *owned* 2011 XD he beat Fed in all of their other meetings, including the US. And Murray will so win a slam, anyyyy time now =)

  • @SubtleNirvana Yeah, 'course Federer lost four French Open Finals to Nadal! Like the commentators said, Federer probably thinks "If it wasn't for this guy my record would be untouchable!" If the ATP had more indoors tournaments Federer would be still dominating the game. What if they had an indoor Grand Slam? LOL... Federer would win it 100 times.

  • the only explanation for this is nadal had sex the night before. that explains why he's so lethargic. but great match from federer!!!

  • @tousif2000 Lol, or it's more like he's rusty from all the time off and this is arguably his worst surface (and one of Fed's best surfaces).

  • @tousif2000 He's a professional tennis player!! Federer was simply better here. and nadal less confortable surface.

  • demolition.

  • @fujifour nice to see Federer playing like FEDERER :) awesome!

  • @jjndnp08 indeed :) classic fed
