"Obviously, Americans are least of any people in the world afraid of drugs because there's a drugstore on every corner. So, if they're so afraid of mind expanding drugs, obviously it's the MIND EXPANSION that they are afraid of."
The good fellas at the fed level have set the tone here NOT the American ppl. We're as hungry as anyone to break out of the current self-destructive paradigm by ANY means available.

To the person below me: what does it matter? it doesn't change anything that matters in your life. If we would know all these answers it would make living completely uninteresting.
I think Dawkins is right, we SHOULD get rid of all the religions, for all they cause is trouble.
You know... I'm not a religious person, but people who participate in mind-expansion should be MOST sympathetic to people with a need. Take away religions, and you take away some people's drive. Their religion guides them and gives them something to believe in -- without it, they have no haven.
That's something that mind-expanders should sympathize with entirely, as they are currently society's most highly spurned group. Everyone should have a haven, be it a church or a rave.
if you connect Big Bang to the bible "Let there be Light" you would see that god is in everything. everything- the universe, all consciousness, all matter all energy all life- is just part of god's body. so god has never left us - we're always a tiny part of him.
Just as the cells in our body are completely unaware of the super-entity that they are a part of - we are also indispensable pieces of a larger, unfathomable entity. If not 'the god', then some god.
gender.. anger... love... appear to me to be the current cutting edge of what the novelty wave of 'god' is discovering of itself. Human beings are gods most advanced view of the world. Collecting data of itself (through/as us) - because even 'god' doesn't truly know what god is.

Nice documentary. I saw it this past weekend.
Quick question.
What's the name of the track starting from 1:20 or so and playing repeatedly throughout the trailer?
I enjoyed it's epic nature. Please respond to this.
Thanks!

Him?
I wouldn't imagine god having any use of gender. Being the omnipotent creator of all things/times/places, and such.
Although I guess that kind of spits in the face of the philosophy that 'we are all gods semen.'
I have a certain fondness to the idea that we are gods cells.

nice comment. gods cells... thats what i've been thinking for ages, but unable to word it so well.
gender.. anger... love... theyre all just human characteristics chucked on misguided god concepts.
