nice car, but i still prefer superchargers over turbos because even though the engine works to turn the charger, you have instant power, there is no lagging and waiting for the turbo to spool up. as i said though, nice car

@miketheredneckable & that's why you install launch control my friend.. turbo's in my opinion are better sure you got power on demand with a sc but you're eating up fuel all the time when it's not even needed unlike a turbo where your ecu is going to add the gas as you add more air with a turbo setup.

@canthony1019 nice way of putting it and i agree fully, but im really just biased towards a sc because there is no annoying whistling unless you get on it hard, and you dont need alot of fancy computer equiptment to make up for extra air. ive always been a carburated/supercharger guy because the systems are usually easier and again, power on demand. that and im not an enviromental freak, as far as i care, i know the enviroment will be fine until i die at least, so yeah. but still nice setup dude

@lerofumanchero hey everbody has to start somewhere....a trans brake is a device/unit that will lock the tranny into gear but keep it from engaging untill you hit a certain rpm or u press the button to release it.....but when u first get one....u better hold on and have plenty of room cuz once u press that button...ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!!!!take it easy bud...and keep askin questions....but also look it up...u cant trust what just anybody says..cuz not everyone really know exactly everything..lol

@shredBucketheadshred there'a a big difference between being a ricer and a tuner.. my 02 rsx turbo that was making 502 whp and 447 lbs of torque and is now being built so i can up the boost. all these people who own these mustangs and build em up making all that power have too much weight to hold em back.. my rsx will eat up a stang making the same amount of power just because its just under half the weight.. im not judgeing those people but just making a staement that the term rice is overated.

@shredBucketheadshred Trust me it's all going to the ground on a proper launch, & yes it is re-geared (sraight cut gears at that) since the stock type r tranny didn't hold up for not even a month after the first build. and as you can tell it's not street driven anymore either but that was just my choice not to annoy anybody with a car that revs to 10,200 rpm and a tranny and diff that whine like a loud ass supercharger. & there's do need to worry bout your chassis when you're running a full cage

I met a guy who's brother had some work done at underground performance here in charlotte and ended up making just under 480 whp on a n/a d16y8 motor in his civic hatch. in case you didn't know underground builds some of the world's fastest cars & currently have the fastest record civic hatch currently running a low 8.2 and the owner has a 1400 hp TT lambo. hopefully they can help me out with the proper tune to reach my goal.
