  • Are those speed chucks? Very nice movements btw, I was watching and I was thinking "that's easy I was doing that on day 1" then I watched the rest and thought "damn, I have to go out and try that, it looks fun and tricky". Thank you for this video and I appologize for questioning your skill. Keep it up and don't listen to the haters man.

    And BTW..... creed fucking sucks!!!

    BLOW ME!!!

  • @albert423bla I don't respond to trolls very often, but I just wanted to clarify that the song is an audio swap and that I don't actually listen to shit like Creed. As for the "advanced my ass" remark, spins don't get much more advanced than this without just being ridiculous. I applaud your creative use of punctuation however.

  • dude......i watch a tutorial for Bk f8 hand rolls with out extra spins.......u r a good teacher and i'm beginner..........and it's hard for me to do hand rolls......:)

  • lol for the 50th time...dang that chain is short lol!

  • ur right..his chain is short.......

  • Your chain is short compared to mine

  • That sucked til the very end...the end was pretty badass though.

  • Probably because it's a tutorial. :P

  • Well that kinda makes me feel like an ass then.

  • not to bad i got some vids on here

  • All 4 of my chucks have 11 links, but I don't see any reason why I can't try your technique with them. Very nice video. 5 star. Where did you purchase those 3 link chucks?

  • These chucks are from a company called GoShikata, and I bought them from Century Martial Arts years ago.

  • can you freestyle with chucks with long chains i have 10 links

  • Dude!, I want to know how many times you hit your walls!!

    5 stars!

  • Good job and nice spins. I've been doin in for 2 years or so.

  • kool im really into balisongs

  • good stuff.... ignore the hate..any tips for me? check my vid

  • impressive!

  • thnks EleMan T24 -this video inspired me to get out the chucks out. now i cant put them down.a week n a half to sus it out at 10/20 mins a night. a little bit longer for the left though. 2 months on i'm doing it with both at the same time.the outside of the left elbow recieved the worst damage(oouucchh) a few facials as well. the next step i think for me is finger, thumb, wrist spins and throws..... i noticed u have 3 / 4 links on the chain did u get it modifed or was purchased as speed chucks-TW

  • Thanks. These came with three links, but I use all different types.

  • lol at first i was like "okay..." then at the end...

Lets just say i had to change my pants

  • define "that"

  • can you?

  • can YOU do that? I think not

  • quede notablemente con la boca abierta

    eres muy bueno !

  • damb at first I was like so what, then I noticed he showed a bit of diferent technique at the end it was spectacular,I am starring this a 5.

  • omg you're great ;D

  • kids got style

  • Did you even watch the whole video? Cuz in the end he made a combination with all those spinning techniques.

  • what the hell doing, are you trying to show how to spin the nunchaku. and you ever try that with the oponent. whatever you know keep it in secret.

  • Yeah try watching the whole thing ^_^ maybe you will take your words back.

  • as the song is called

  • como se llama la canción

  • so like.. how long have you been doing that? :D

  • where did you get those, all the ones I've seen are not finger sized.

  • Love the rex shirt lol 5*

  • DUDE YOU SUCK!

  • You can tell that from a tutorial? Way to go. :P

  • Hmm... That guy's obviously a genius!...

That aside, I was wondering if you could tell me some site I could purchase some decent chucks from? Those you used in your vid looked kinda nice, but I read your comment below..

I'd appreciate any kind of reply :)

  • Google "Woodall's Custom Workshop." They make excellent chucks. Or for something a little cheaper, try "Century Martial Arts" or "Playwell Martial Arts." "Prochux" are also great if you like short-cord.

If you go to the url at the end of the vid, we have several product reviews you can check out. Hope that helps. :)

  • Oh, and do you know any place that sells them in metal? Yours would have been perfect... : /

I'm looking for something in that direction.

  • Most chucks that look like metal are actually wood covered with chrome tape. But there are a couple Chinese companies that sell high-quality metal chucks. Try nunchakumall[dot]com. It's a forum, so I think you have to contact the admin to make a purchase. Or you could always make your own.

  • Dont listen to him bro, i think your pretty daymn sick!

jw if your chucks are very heavy?? ive got a pair (alot thicker than yours) and my sensei says hes never felt a pair thats shop bought quite so heavy, i clobbered the inside of my elbow with them a while ago and have messed up the nerves in it so now even the slightest touch in the right place hurts. have you even injured yourself with thinner, lighter chucks? and would you say its harder to do so with lighter chucks??

    peace

  • The chucks in this vid are oak, so I'd say they're medium weight. I practice with all types, including steel, which are like swinging around baseball bats, lol. I think as far as injuries go, it doesn't really matter what you use. Lighter chucks go faster, so they all hurt like a bitch.

The elbow is a tricky one. There's a nerve there that if you hit the right way, your whole arm goes numb for like an hour.

  • yer thats exactly wot happened to my arm! i thought id broken it lol.

    thanks for the tips

    peace

  • you are amazing with chucks man, im trained in karate so im skilled at hand to hand combat but i want to try other things as well so i got some chucks with padding, i tried to do this and i was getting the technique right but their way to big my chucks, is their anyway to get pasted this or am i just going to have to scrap the beginners chucks.

  • The foam chucks are usually too light and too wide for my tastes. I'd suggest moving up to wood as soon as you're ready. It'll really help out your technique. If you want to add some weight to them, try putting a wooden dowel into the plastic core. More weight might balance out the size.

  • thanks for that i'm going to have to evantually move to wood anyway so it might as well be now

  • yea i was REALLY fucking bored with this vid until you started ripping shit up in the end

  • Thanks pal, I got there in the end.

  • awesome skills man! Where did you get those chucks??

  • Thanks. I got them from Century Martial Arts years ago. They're from a company called Go Shikata. Sadly, they've taken to using cheaper methods and materials since then, and now their chucks suck.

  • nice vid...i've almost learned that whole freestyle...how about an Infinite Fingerspin tutorial?

  • Si eso es avanzado... ¿Bruce lee que es? ¿Supersónico?

  • erm.. neck and limb rolls i guess :) thanks lol.

  • Hi. Something a lot more advance please :)

  • Anything in particular you have in mind?

  • Bitching! I'm gonna watch that later when i get home.. got some practice chucks in my room.

  • That was honestly good video... i liked how you broke it down to basics and built on it. I know have one up on the masters from TKD school. Thanks man

  • dude your tutorial...

IN SHORT FREESTYLE: bunch of moves you didn't even show how to do. lol

  • lol rex kwon do is so bad lollll

  • thanks for putting it together at the end, i was almost dissapointed. :]

  • omg!!! look at his t-shirt REX-Kwon-Do

  • this is a very good variations bro :)

    -KC

  • muy bueno el tuto gracias

  • i really like that tutorial and song whoever it may be... !

  • Cool video man! I dont know how to do the move that you do at 2:26-28. It seems really easy but i still dont know how. Is there a tutorial fot it? :)

  • No tutorial that I know of. I did a neck pass, handoff into a reverse grip, wrist stop, handroll, handoff, wrist stop. Sounds complex, but it really isn't. Keep trying man, you'll get it. :)

  • ive just started with my nunchucks a few months ago. this vid is really great i can almost do it ^^

  • Thanks for sharing☆BIG THANKS

  • nice : )

  • Thanks! Sorry, I didn't mean for it to be so slow at the start, lol. I've been training for about 5 years I guess. Not too many accidents, aside from broken lights, and a scar on my chin.

  • ...thats not advanced stuff...?!

  • Yeah, I know. But I didn't know what else to call it. :P

  • Rex Kwon Do? lol Awesome tutorial dude

  • great job dude - will be a big help! You should make some more ; )

  • Thanks man. Eventually I'll get the balls to do a vid where I actually talk, lol.
