I got the cuetec graphite b/j cue and tried jumping the ball but i can't get it to jump. i have tried several angles. Are the balls to greasy? bad table or what? hope you can answer my question.

@ceebeer dirtier balls might make it more difficult, I'm not positive as I haven't dealt a lot with really dirty balls, but it would make sense to me. One thing I've noticed with people I teach is that they don't drive through the cue ball. If you watch his shot closely you'll see that he follows through on his shot. A lot of beginners will just jab at the cue ball. Also, if the cue ball just rockets forward without leaving the table, you're probably hitting too high on the ball.
