I KNEW that the Green soil of Brinstar was "Hunters" from metroid prime 2, but I never saw the connection... I heard the theme in the lower part of Torvus Bog, but still I heard Nostalgia in there, somewhere... Until I listened to this - The Red soil theme is the original for the area below Torvus Bog! (I think it is the Dynamo, maybe)

The first part has parts that sound sorta like Kraftwerk's "Electric Cafe", better known as the theme from the SNL sketch "Sprokets"

The second part reminds me of the Gonk Droid in the original Star Wars as it sounds to me like a choral arrangement of sopranos and altos singing "GONK! GONK!" over and over again.

Yah I'll never know why they made this game so unforgiving to wall jumping. You had to be so precise or you would fall. On the bright side though I was stuck down here so long I finally figured it out and you can access so many places sooner before the screw attack with wall jumping and bomb jumping. I love this game.
