@mboy3515 i understand that and valleys effect much more than just wind itself it can create severe updrafts and downdraft but i have yet to use a simulator software that produces that except the training simulators. so i dont think in this case it would have effected the wind variation. in speed or direction

good landing (for someone who doesn't lives in Innsbruck) in reality the A320 is the biggest plane that is allowed to land in Innsbruck, but mostly there are Q-400 or a 737. It's the hardest airport to land and you need a special training because there are mountains all around you

Good video just a few pointers from a fellow fsx player, i have found that when you approach you have the nose up about 1 mile from the runway always keep the nose straight or down until you are about 100 metres from runway, Also you come in much to fast and do not really give yourself enough time that if you landed strangely you might not land properly , But nice vid all the same :) i liked it

ok tonight i was on my flight simulator. i was flying from dublin to insbruck. when i was about 20 miles from runway 26 the localizer came up on my gps but it was offset. i set about setting up a normal ils and set my course to 256 and my course and heading indicatior never picked it up so had to land using vor/dme. did you have the same problem?

@oliverjumelle depends on what airplane your using and if you changed the frequency to what the ILS runway is. Go to your gps when the tower tells you what runway you are cleared for and set it up there so the plane recognizes the ILS.

Im saying this because I had a RIG with that kind of set up a few years ago and it was really difficult to run FSX and have fun with it the way it was meant to be. @reedy111111111111111 you can have 2 cards. The HD5970 IS 2 cards (2 clocks) - but for fsx you need more CPU than GPU, so.. if you have a gtx280 or better is enough.

Another note, I thought that FSX was rednered on the CPU and that the only role of the GPU was as a memory buffer. I just got a 4870x2 upgrade from a 4890 and saw just a 4fps increase. Is there a mod to allow rednering and computing on the GPU?

Great approach except for your flaring is too early. Remember, on approach power controls climbing and descending and pitch controls airspeed. If you don't remember this rule, approaches get sloppy fast and hence the almost 10 degree nose up flare....on an airbus...not needed. Great video and hoping this tip can give you a new technique in FS :)
