@CalRealEstateGoddess Feral cats look just like strays you jackass. I'm starting to get sick of jackasses like you who never spent a day outside a city lecturing people about wild cats. I only wish you will be infested with feral/ cute stray cats one day soon.
Cats are listed in the TOP 100 WORST INVASIVE SPECIES OF THE WORLD, in the "Global Invasive Species Database". If your government enforces invasive species laws then it is against the law to NOT destroy cats when found away from safe confinement and out in non-native habitat. It is your civic and moral responsibility to do so, someone's pet or not. If you criminally irresponsible pet-owners want to keep your invasive-species pets, keep them confined properly. Releasing them violates these laws.
The general rule-of-thumb in the USA is that if your land is in an area zoned for livestock (e.g. you can keep chickens, etc.), then it is perfectly legal to destroy any animal, someone’s pet or not, that is threatening the safety of your own animals. The only animals exempt from you taking immediate action, legally, are those listed on endangered or threatened species lists. Since cats are listed as a highly destructive invasive-species it is your civic and moral duty to destroy them on sight.
What's wrong with feral cats? Rats carry disease, and there's hundreds of them about. Unfortunatly, people nowadays think that a cat, one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth, deserves to die just because it's wild. So, keeping a cat locked up in houses and cages is perfectly acceptable, whereas cats in their natural environment is not? If cats were to be housepets, why were they given territorial instincts, claws, and the ability to catch prey more gracefully than anything?
@TheMoonPower Your comment is mostly ludicrous. For one, there are feral cat colonies in many areas where there is not an overabundance of rodents,in which case these feral DOMESTIC animals compete with indigenous predators for food. This is detrimental to,and alters the balance of the ecosystem. Also, feral does NOT equal wild. Cats were domesticated because of their natural hunting prowess,to be used for rodent control, not to be re-introduced as invasive predators.......
@TheMoonPower PETS should NOT be allowed to roam free! They are PETS,and as pets they are the responsibility of their owners.Lost or abandoned pets become feral.Though they retain much of their natural instinct they can never again become truly wild.Their instinct enables them to survive in the wild, for a while, but they generally lead a miserable existence and their life spans are short. In any case, a feral animal of any kind has NO right to exist at the cost of the lives of indigenous animals!!
@njmudpuppy i totally agree with you. why would anyone want to let their pet roam free subject to being hit by cars, torn to bits by dogs, getting lost etc
I have 14 cats living in my back yard all ferrial and more kittens receantly we feed them and give them a dog house to live in.GO to my channel to see them
@TheGrgaara If you are not having them all sterilized, cleared by a vet of any communicable diseases, and feeding them all ENOUGH to prevent them from hunting native wildlife than you are contributing to the damage of the ecosystem around you.....Feral cats do NOT belong in ANY North American ecosystem......Trap them, find them homes, OR KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@njmudpuppy Screw you! Why should She/he kill them? I love the feral cat Colony that live near my house. They keep pest away :3 plus they don't deserve to be killed. Plus, what can a small cat kill? Yep, Disease-infected rats and mice are Native wildlife....Get a life please ;)
@Lovepitbullzomg Ummmm yea, ok......read a book dumbass....or better yet Google search all the damage caused to indigenous wildlife by feral cats and the diseases they carry that are communicable to humans.......If you dont live in the city or on a farm it is HIGHLY unlikely that you have enough mice and rats around to sustain a large colony of feral cats, therefore they are likely having and adverse impact on the native wildlife around them, predator and prey alike.
@njmudpuppy First of all, It's not a LARGE colony of cats, and what Wildlife is in a city? And seriously, What else can a cat kill? It's not like a darn cat will take on a freaking cariboo! And I often feed the cats sometimes, So they don't eat the so called "Wildlife" And I've never got any diseases from them. And if you hate cat colonies, why bother wasting your time watching this, and commenting?

@Lovepitbullzomg Well obviously you are to ignorant and arrogant to read the information I suggested to you,so what more can I say??? Look, I don't hate cats, what I hate is the damage they do to indigenous wildlife. Feral cats lead a mostly miserable existence and have very short life spans when compared to a loved, cared for, pet. It is sad for them, but very often the best answer to what to do with a feral colony is eradication, The right thing to do is not always the NICE thing.....
@njmudpuppy How would you feel if you were wandering around your territory, and suddenly.....SNAP! Your leg is stuck in a painful, inhumane trap that tightly clamped itself onto your leg, and as you struggle to leave it's agonizing grasp, it digs itself deeper into your wounds, making your leg all bloody, and your screech, wail, yowl and caterwaul for help, but your mournful cries don't help, and your left there to suffer a long and painful death?
@njmudpuppy Or howbout you are just resting and suddenly you are caged, and thrown into a large, mysterous thing (Actually a car) you are frightened, and scared. You meow in fear, and the humans take you to a strange place, that is full of whining animals (pound), and soon you find yourself in a deep sleep, to never wake up? Most ways of kiliing feral cats are inhumane, and exetremly painful!
@TheGrgaara Aww, I have a cat colonie by my house, in a fenced in, grassy area, there is a hole in the fence so I guessed thats how they got in. Now, somepeople are gonna tear it down and make a building or something, but to do that they will have to rid of the cats. They were gonna use poison the get trid od them, do you know how I can save them? :(
neutering or spraying them will slow destory the population how would feel if u were neuter or sprayed we have trillions of people just let them live peacefully
To you it's spam, which shows your true motivation for garbage videos like this one, For true environmentalists, it's the real peril we face. Get a life. Get off the fucking house-cat trip and put your money and energy where it's needed. I'll keep posting as long as my fingers work. I'm so sick of retarded cat people and their false concern over these parasitic animals. Find a real purpose in life and stop hiding behind your "naturalist" bullshit.
Again, this is why I cautiously wrote a more objective response. If a non-native species can only survive at the cost of the lives of native species, SOMETIMES eradication is the only viable alternative.....Sad,but absolutely true. Fair enough?? I do admire your tenacity, hang on to your love of life,it will take you places....Peace
@njmudpuppy I've experienced this as well. While ferals can still be re-introduced to a more modern diet once taken under wing and given this chance to begin with, alternatives can be explored for strictly "meat-wired" ferals. You can either diet them on grounded, raw meat of all kinds [which is something preferrable for pet cats], or release them into overrun rodent facilities that need a balance, but this has to be carefully controlled or be a type of "enclosure" similar to wild-park themes.
@njmudpuppy For there was such a time where using a cat's strictly "native" diet was the key to having them exist in human-dominated environments. A selfish outlook, but what else was new. It allowed harmony, I guess.
But anyway, we've clearly come to some middle ground, so we don't have to argue anymore. ;)
Many academic studies have found a clear link between cruelty to animals and violence towards humans. The sadistic individual who comes on here to brag that he likes hurting and killing feral cats is truly mentally ill and should be banned permanently from youtube. He haunts other cat videos leaving extremely disturbing comments about how he enjoys seeing cats suffering. Hopefully, the ASPCA will soon catch up with him and deal with him appropriately.
@TheJazzyBReal - The individual who suggested saving the environment by killing feral cats. I refuse to post his name only because he is so belligerent. His comment was made four days ago. If you check his profile you will see he enjoys leaving very disturbing and sick comments on cat videos. What he said on here is mild compared to some of his other comments. If you challenge him he becomes extremely obnoxious and even threatening. He hates cats and his detractors equally.
@TheJazzyBReal - No...his name is svvmichael1. I have had the misfortune to come across his comments too many times on cat videos, particularly feral cat videos. His one and only solution is killing all of them, and not necessarily humanely. Disturbing doesn't begin to describe his comments. He really needs to be permanently blocked from youtube, because his only mission is to be as cruel and offensive as possible.
@laceyemily1 Svvmichael1 are clearly troll-comments that have no substance. My target would preferrably be Njmudpuppy and rrhynes; encountered the latter a video ago. There's nothing worse than a screaming 40 year old on the internet.
i love ferel cats its not there falt that their ferel. No one wants them , my mom and i T.N.R which is helping the farel, stray, and homeless cat population decline .
@bk60700 Have you ever heard a bird, squirrel,or rabbit screaming in misery as it dies a torturous death in the claws and jaws of a cat!!????????? Yes,it's sad,but the ONLY answer for these unwanted cats is ERADICATION.....It's not " natural " for them to hunt. They are FERAL,and introduced invasive species, and detrimental to indigenous wildlife. I have a HUGE heart,I love animals.....but feral cats must go....
@njmudpuppy Feral cats are lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc. But Stray Cats are nothing near feral! I believe they need a second chance, they DESERVE a second chance! If you are THAT blind and THAT heartless, then you have no heart for a helpless animal.
@littlewarriors4 Hey...umm..... listen young lady, before you start calling anyone heartless, you should do some reading and educate yourself........lions,tigers, and cheetahs, etc, are WILD animals, not feral.....Feral is defined as a domestic animal reverting back to a semi- wild state...... You will understand more as you grow up that doing the right thing isn't always NICE or easy. Feral cats are extremely bad for the local wildlife around them..you dont have to believe ME,look it up....
@njmudpuppy >> << Feral cats don't live happy lives, why and how could they? They probably had a terrible family and was kicked out, they probably want a caring, loving, home. Something that some people will never provide.
@littlewarriors4 Listen kiddo, it would make me VERY happy if all cats and dogs lived in loving caring homes such as mine. My dogs get along fine with my cat and they are all WELL cared for. It's very sad, but feral cats are VERY difficult to tame and because of this are almost impossible to find good homes for. Animals shelters are already overloaded with unwanted animals. In any case, no matter how sad it may be, these cats must be dealt with. Native animals deserve their lives too!!
@njmudpuppy Yes all animals deserve a home. But they can become tame with time, love, and care. We all struggle but we manage, but it's not that easy for an animal. And, their not ''unwanted'', they are wanted but the right person needs to be found.
@littlewarriors4 I wish more people in the world had a heart like you do young lady... I can't argue with your last comment at all. I hope that you don't let all the harshness of life taint that love and compassion you have for Gods creatures. Just try to understand that sometimes the right decision is not always the EASY one.....
@njmudpuppy I will, you and me are Gods creatures, everything is God's creatures, creation. When I have a home for myself I will create a shelter for Shelters, get them fixed and put them up for adoption. And they won't be in cages, they will be in a house with a sign saying, ''Adopted Memory''. I believe animals deserve freedom but also a loving home.
@njmudpuppy Do you actually ally with TNR and SADSAC's Feral Project, where they say flat out on their website that it is NOT impossible to re-domesticate feral cats? It is difficult, yes, but it strongly depends on the individual cat. I have managed to tame adult and elder ferals to the best of my ability, and it can and has been done. As SADSAC would put it, the degree of domestication solely varies on that specific cat; no two are alike. And of course, don't always have the same results.
@jackrakino You have no idea I guess....... Doing what is necessary is not always easy or pleasant....... There is no room nor is there funding to house, care for,and find homes for the thousands upon thousands of feral cats. Most of them are too far gone to ever make truly good pets anyway.......I know I have come across as harsh, and that was wrong of me.....but I do love animals,of that there is no doubt.
@njmudpuppy I know nice and well that people who "love animals" and actually volunteer to control feral colonies do not share the same opinion as you do. SADSAC, one of many "Feral Cat" projects, assists by trying to foster these animals after domesticating it. The younger the cat, the better the chances of domesticating. Some become friendly and some tolerate humans, depending on the individual cat and its situation. They can't all be "generalized as hopeless cases" if no one even attempts it.
FUCK feral cats!!!!!!!!!!!! There is only one answer, and that is eradication!!!!!! Kill them all!!!!! Feral cats do so much damage to indigenous wildlife it's sickening! They also carry diseases that are communicable to humans...... I kill them......not because I hate cats, but because I love animals.....Cats are an introduced species, they dont belong, they need bullet holes......end of story
@njmudpuppy Oh gosh, I know we just had an arguement, but... THIS?!?! THIS!? More like, ''F*CK PEOPLE LIKE YOU!'' People like you are sickening! Humans struggle but make it through but it's not so easy for a poor, helpless animal! Their possible to tame with love, care, and time!
I tamed a feral cat its sister and nefue's and nieces one time we kept them for 2 years outside with plenty of food. I built them a pretty big house with 6 small fans for summer (got pretty cool in there) and a heater on top. The house was like 15x10x6 ft :D
Thank you, I wished the feral cats in my neighborhood could come out during the day without these ignorant people hating them and being a threat to the only thing these cats want to do; survive. ☹☹
This is a beautiful video. I am in the process of trying to organize a feral/stray colony with cats that are born in a campground. We have placed in homes all the social cats and kittens that we could last year (22 in one year) and now we are TNR the remaining starting April 2011. I'm the caregiver and I'm asking for prayer for these cats and all who help them.
@UVpirate fist thing is to get a gun ...now to make sure it works properly and will do the job insert the barrel into your mouth AND PULL THE TRIGGER SCUMBAG !!
"stray" cats are not necessarily the same thing as "feral" cats. some stray cats can be tame and socialized to interact with humans. feral cats are truly wild, not used to people and are not domesticated
Where I live the locals' collect these cats, feed them up and at the weekends at secret locations hold Gladitorial organised fighting pens at which bets are placed beer is drunk and women get sold cheaply for sex.....all in a controlled enviornment. This brings together local communities and people from all walks of life the Alcoholics and the Prostitutes can trade with respectable members of society creating a social meet not unlike Caligula where the cat is the focus of the entertainment
I live by a wooded canyon and unfortunately the feral cats have basically wiped out the native bird population. While they are awfully cute they are extremely destructive. I think the spay program is well intentioned but ultimately it doesn't work. The majority of the feral cats (in and around my canyon) have now been eradicated and the birds are beginning to return. My advice: keep your cats indoors where they belong.
@r8wing you may be right but still they don't always have food to eat like we do. What about water. Sometimes they can get sometimes they can't. So I do feel sorry for them. I wish I could save them all.
These cats are not "poor" or "innocent" or s**t. They are simply wild animals adapted to the urban habitat. They thrive in cities because the ecosystem can sustain them. They are highly adaptable and versatile, good hunters and very intelligent animals. They don't need anyone's pity or "help" so stop feeling sorry for them.
@r8wing They were bred by humans to be our companions. It's in their blood, somewhere. If they were truly wild animals they'd be wildcats; but no. They are just feral CATS.
I actually want more feral dogs and cats, one because alot of them should be able to live out on their own and be free, trust me, and also it just be fucking cool to see a wild cat or pack of dogs run by or hunt something down
feral cats do not need looking after. If left to their own devices they will form colonies and relearn survival in the wild, some will die but others will survive. Why do people feel the need to "rescue" them by locking them up in cages. The sad fact is these animal lovers actually beleive they are giving the cat with a better life. Feral cats DO NOT want to sit in a cage or someones house so leave them the fuck alone!!
@leerees All cats are descended from the wildcat breed; they are house-cat looking felines, the "OG's" of cats that were later domesticated by humans, and they survive in the same environments as larger native predators. People seem to forget that ALL animals were originally "native" before domestication; cats are no different. They weren't born with flea-collars and scratching posts. That's how we've simply "wired" them to be to better co-exist with our needs.
what most people refuse to understand is that most ferral cats are actually happy to be ferral and they have something precious that is freedom and the possibility to live a natural life as a semi wild animal.yeah they have a much shorter life span but believe it or not they are much happier than the avarege obese neutered indoor cat..

@salvolondon old cliche - if you love it, set it free! cats weren't made to be only inside, they need to run in the fresh air and climb trees and chill outside
@hey413m i agree with you.but for example the feral tom cat who is living near my house is so healthy and beautiful,he is about ten,he was born free, and he will die free,he had a lot of offspring (many have died for natural selection but this is life)and really he is well fed and a nice ginger cat,he really doesn't need to be rescued.i should put some photos of the feral cats living in italy where i come from, they look so happy and nice, and they make an important job by catching mice.
A feral cat is undomesticated. It's rare that shelters attempt to take them even if spayed or neutered. Strays are lost, homeless cats usually once owned. Not synonymous words!
Wow. Wouldn't it be great if these people cared for homeless humans the way they do with homeless cats? I think this shows what a backwards and selfish country this is where the lives of homeless cats are infinitely more important than the lives of our fellow man.
Congrats on making me feel even more cynical about the human race in general. I really hope you never have to experience homelessness, but if you ever do, I hope that your needs would never be put behind those of a cat.
@skaz21 Most people who care about animals would bend over backwards to help human in need. People like yourself make that same exact argument in lots of videos but never actually volunteer or do anything to help others in need. Or you pick and choose your causes. You either help all life or don't bother at all.
@skaz21 Beleive me I do and help animals I haft to very sneeky about it though because its illegal to feed the homeless by hand unless im a licensed faciltity to hand out food to the public or in this case homeless, its wrong so wrong :(
These cats are beautiful all of them I have a colony of feral and stray cats for ten years now I have been caring for them . They are all spayed and neutered. Six months ago I was able to adopted two of them and they live with me now though they still love to go outside. I do bring them out for walks. Its so funny as they walk with me down the sidewalk at night the other strays follow . So along side my two three sometimes four others enjoy the walks as well. Ferals can be adopted ( PATIENTS )
@chjohnst Good for you and your cat. You are wise to keep your can indoors where it is safe. You will both have a long relationship because you care enough to keep your cat indoors.
got a mangie yellow motherfucker I'm going to put a bullet in. next time I got a chance. i was willing to let things go but when I saw the fucker attacking one of my kittens that was it, he's a goner
I wish I had the means to develope a catch and release program her for the fral cats. I would spay and neuter them, so at the very least, there wouldn't be unwanted babies being born just to be killed by a passing car or, or disease or another wild animal, or someone with a mean heart.
Those are really sweet cats and its good to know that there are compassionate people in this country like th guy who made this video.
@Ben1969-We as people are supposed to be a "superior animal", but how can we claim that when we are so cruel to other people. No one cares for the homeless and sick and dying in Africa or in our country. If we are to be supreme, then we must care for all those who are weaker than us, the homeless, the hungry and these poor and innocent cats also.
feral cats decimate local wild life they murder animals without eating them and spreed disease to domestic cats. The real assholes are the ones who do not take respectability to spay and neuter or just release cats so they don't have to deal with them.I will continue to cull the feral cat population but i wish there was another way.
I didn't know the diffrence between feral and stray til I read up on it. stray have had human contact and can be tamed. feral born and raised with out people. feral rarely can be tamed. they still need our care. I think the trap and release (to be spayed /nuetured) program is a great thing I just wish it was availble in more areas. CATS ARE GREAT CREATURES there are more cats put down in shelters than dogs everyday.. give one a home if you can! I have 3 would have a dozen if I could.
They're more than capable of finding their own sustenance. But since we often recognize cats and dogs as friends as appose to wild animals like rabbits or coyotes we feel more comfortable interacting with them. coupled along with cats natural social nature we choose to interact with them. What better way then to feed them?
these fucking cats are so gay so quit responding to me n ill quit posting my thoughts dick head... now i would use my 12 gauge those cats are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking ugly!
you people make me sik. shooting them, killing them, just talking about them badley makes you a disgrace. call me whatever you like, i dont care about your lowlife shit. leave the feral cats alone, and help them if you can. if you think otherwise about other creatures on this earth, your no better than the disease ridden rats they catch and eat.
I think you have a great idea there.! Neuter every fuckin' one of them so when they die, you can kill yourself knowing that are no more stray cats to take care of. They are manmade hybrids, not natural. God did not make them. Man did.!
why would i kill myself because they went extinct? i don't know why you think its such a bad thing that i care about those animals. people like you make me sick.
What is bad is your fasincation with them. AS if they are something to truly behold and wonder about. You're nuts. You do have a mental and emotional problem if this vermin is your focus and desire.
i don't 'behold' them. your nuts. its not my 'focus', honey. just because i like them doesn't mean im obsessed with them. go read a dictionary and learn the definition of focus and educate your dumbass. have a nice day
I know what focuse means. Everytime I make a long distance shot on a feral cat I have to refocus my scope. I want to see it's face after I pull the trigger!
All vermin are beautiful creatures! I could be vermin too, in the rigth circumstance. However, domestic cats are unnatural man-made vermin and that makes them even worse! Kill them.
Beautiful cats, I wish I could save them all. Some stray cats behave aggressively because they were mistreated by human in the past. It takes a while to regain their trusts. Good Karma for those who save the lives of animals ;)
We've adopted a number of feral/street cats in the past couple of years. Some of them became real sweethearts while a few stayed pretty wild. They are all unique, special & deserving of respect.
Beautiful cats. It looks like you're taking such good care of them. A couple of months ago, a feral (she's a true one) wandered into my yard, and she's now made it her permanent home. She was part of a NTR program, so I'm grateful that she's been fixed. She's still very scared to let me pet her, but she'll now sit two feet away from me, and she'll let me near when I feed her. She used to bolt, she doesn't anymore. It takes a lot of patience to own a cat like this, but it's worth it. :)
To everyone watching this video. There are so many species in the world that need your help and consideration. Cats are not one of them. Quit wasting your time and money on something that is unnatural and damaging to the native species. Save the gorillas, tigers, rhinos, etc.
People like you make me want to help these guys out even more =)
Hey instead of posting negative comments on someones passion why dont you use your free time helping out Rhinos. Thats more productive then coming on here dont you think?
You need to believe in something more worthwhile. Groups like yours have an incredible opportunity to pull your resources and work towards saving the many world species that are virtually extinct. Cats , unless they are Siberian tigers, aren't in danger of anything. True, you're never going to be able to hold one or feed one, but you need to get your priorities straight. You could do some real good, but you choose to just feel good.
You know its classy to come on someones page that really cares about something and bad mouth what they believe in. Dont you have anything better to do?
how would you like it if you were an animal and a human came up to you and said, "its a nuisance. shoot that animal" you'd be pretty mad, wouldn't you? so shut up, asshole. don't you have anything better to do? i can't imagine what awful things you do to people, much less animals.
I don't do anything awful to people or animals. Why don't you get off your high-horse and do something worthwhile for nature? Cats are unnatural predators and have absolutely no place in nature. They aren't natural. Morons like you want them to be, but fail to realize their impact on nature. They don't belong there! Get rid of them and put your efforts into preserving true nature and not man-made nature. Idiot.
i have done nice things to nature! shut up!!! if you were a stray cat, you'd want someone to take care of you, feed you, etc, and all that wouldn't you? i would. and if cats are so "unnatural" then why did god create them? i do realize their impact on nature. they have dimineshed the bird population, but they have also helped us with rats and mice. we should neuter them, not kill them.
@rrhynes How is the cat species an "unnatural predator that has no place in nature," if cats were originally WILDCATS born IN nature before humans came along and domesticated them into house pets .__.; Why do you people keep thinking they were born with the collars around their necks and not IN nature/native grounds?
@TheJazzyBReal They aren't natural. Get over it. They aren't protected, they aren't endangered, they serve no purpose in nature. In other words, they're parasitic, predatory and damaging to natural species....just like hogs, goats, starlings, etc. If they don't belong, get rid of them. I'm sorry, but you don't own "wildcats" and they don't sell Purina for "wildcats" or play toys or ad infinitum. Stop pretending they need to be protected.
The cat at :30 is BEAUTIFUL!! PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CAT!!!

TheGrgaara 6 months ago
@TheGrgaara If you are not having them all sterilized, cleared by a vet of any communicable diseases, and feeding them all ENOUGH to prevent them from hunting native wildlife than you are contributing to the damage of the ecosystem around you.....Feral cats do NOT belong in ANY North American ecosystem......Trap them, find them homes, OR KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
njmudpuppy 6 months ago
@njmudpuppy Screw you! Why should She/he kill them? I love the feral cat Colony that live near my house. They keep pest away :3 plus they don't deserve to be killed. Plus, what can a small cat kill? Yep, Disease-infected rats and mice are Native wildlife....Get a life please ;)
Lovepitbullzomg 6 months ago
@Lovepitbullzomg Ummmm yea, ok......read a book dumbass....or better yet Google search all the damage caused to indigenous wildlife by feral cats and the diseases they carry that are communicable to humans.......If you dont live in the city or on a farm it is HIGHLY unlikely that you have enough mice and rats around to sustain a large colony of feral cats, therefore they are likely having and adverse impact on the native wildlife around them, predator and prey alike.
njmudpuppy 6 months ago

Lovepitbullzomg 6 months ago
@njmudpuppy Or howbout you are just resting and suddenly you are caged, and thrown into a large, mysterous thing (Actually a car) you are frightened, and scared. You meow in fear, and the humans take you to a strange place, that is full of whining animals (pound), and soon you find yourself in a deep sleep, to never wake up? Most ways of kiliing feral cats are inhumane, and exetremly painful!

@TheGrgaara Aww, I have a cat colonie by my house, in a fenced in, grassy area, there is a hole in the fence so I guessed thats how they got in. Again, this is why I cautiously wrote a more objective response. If a non-native species can only survive at the cost of the lives of native species, SOMETIMES eradication is the only viable alternative.....Sad,but absolutely true. Fair enough?? I do admire your tenacity, hang on to your love of life,it will take you places....Peace
njmudpuppy 6 months ago
@njmudpuppy I've experienced this as well. While ferals can still be re-introduced to a more modern diet once taken under wing and given this chance to begin with, alternatives can be explored for strictly "meat-wired" ferals. You can either diet them on grounded, raw meat of all kinds [which is something preferrable for pet cats], or release them into overrun rodent facilities that need a balance, but this has to be carefully controlled or be a type of "enclosure" similar to wild-park themes.
TheJazzyBReal 6 months ago
@njmudpuppy That, or own a feral-descendant specifically for "vermin-terminating" duties on farmlands and etc, like the old times.
TheJazzyBReal 6 months ago

Hopefully, the ASPCA will soon catch up with him and deal with him appropriately.
laceyemily1 7 months ago
@laceyemily1 Who?
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
@TheJazzyBReal - The individual who suggested saving the environment by killing feral cats. I refuse to post his name only because he is so belligerent. His comment was made four days ago. If you check his profile you will see he enjoys leaving very disturbing and sick comments on cat videos. What he said on here is mild compared to some of his other comments. If you challenge him he becomes extremely obnoxious and even threatening. He hates cats and his detractors equally.
laceyemily1 7 months ago
@laceyemily1 Are you referring to Mudpuppy?
TheJazzyBReal 6 months ago
@TheJazzyBReal - No...his name is svvmichael1. I have had the misfortune to come across his comments too many times on cat videos, particularly feral cat videos. His one and only solution is killing all of them, and not necessarily humanely. Disturbing doesn't begin to describe his comments. He really needs to be permanently blocked from youtube, because his only mission is to be as cruel and offensive as possible.
laceyemily1 6 months ago
@laceyemily1 Svvmichael1 are clearly troll-comments that have no substance. My target would preferrably be Njmudpuppy and rrhynes; encountered the latter a video ago. There's nothing worse than a screaming 40 year old on the internet.

Yes,it's sad,but the ONLY answer for these unwanted cats is ERADICATION.....It's not " natural " for them to hunt. They are FERAL,and introduced invasive species, and detrimental to indigenous wildlife. I have a HUGE heart,I love animals.....but feral cats must go....
njmudpuppy 8 months ago
@njmudpuppy Feral cats are lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc. But Stray Cats are nothing near feral! I believe they need a second chance, they DESERVE a second chance! If you are THAT blind and THAT heartless, then you have no heart for a helpless animal.
littlewarriors4 7 months ago
@littlewarriors4 Hey...umm..... listen young lady, before you start calling anyone heartless, you should do some reading and educate yourself........lions,tigers, and cheetahs, etc, are WILD animals, not feral.....Feral is defined as a domestic animal reverting back to a semi- wild state...... You will understand more as you grow up that doing the right thing isn't always NICE or easy. Feral cats are extremely bad for the local wildlife around them..you dont have to believe ME,look it up....
njmudpuppy 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy >> << Feral cats don't live happy lives, why and how could they? They probably had a terrible family and was kicked out, they probably want a caring, loving, home. Something that some people will never provide.
littlewarriors4 7 months ago
@littlewarriors4 Listen kiddo, it would make me VERY happy if all cats and dogs lived in loving caring homes such as mine. My dogs get along fine with my cat and they are all WELL cared for. It's very sad, but feral cats are VERY difficult to tame and because of this are almost impossible to find good homes for. Animals shelters are already overloaded with unwanted animals. In any case, no matter how sad it may be, these cats must be dealt with. Native animals deserve their lives too!!
njmudpuppy 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy Yes all animals deserve a home. But they can become tame with time, love, and care. We all struggle but we manage, but it's not that easy for an animal. And, their not ''unwanted'', they are wanted but the right person needs to be found.
littlewarriors4 7 months ago
@littlewarriors4 I wish more people in the world had a heart like you do young lady... I can't argue with your last comment at all. I hope that you don't let all the harshness of life taint that love and compassion you have for Gods creatures. Just try to understand that sometimes the right decision is not always the EASY one.....
njmudpuppy 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy I will, you and me are Gods creatures, everything is God's creatures, creation. When I have a home for myself I will create a shelter for Shelters, get them fixed and put them up for adoption. And they won't be in cages, they will be in a house with a sign saying, ''Adopted Memory''. I believe animals deserve freedom but also a loving home.
littlewarriors4 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy Do you actually ally with TNR and SADSAC's Feral Project, where they say flat out on their website that it is NOT impossible to re-domesticate feral cats? It is difficult, yes, but it strongly depends on the individual cat. I have managed to tame adult and elder ferals to the best of my ability, and it can and has been done. As SADSAC would put it, the degree of domestication solely varies on that specific cat; no two are alike. And of course, don't always have the same results.
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy how can you love animals.
jackrakino 7 months ago
@jackrakino You have no idea I guess....... Doing what is necessary is not always easy or pleasant....... There is no room nor is there funding to house, care for,and find homes for the thousands upon thousands of feral cats. Most of them are too far gone to ever make truly good pets anyway.......I know I have come across as harsh, and that was wrong of me.....but I do love animals,of that there is no doubt.
njmudpuppy 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy I know nice and well that people who "love animals" and actually volunteer to control feral colonies do not share the same opinion as you do. SADSAC, one of many "Feral Cat" projects, assists by trying to foster these animals after domesticating it. The younger the cat, the better the chances of domesticating. Some become friendly and some tolerate humans, depending on the individual cat and its situation. They can't all be "generalized as hopeless cases" if no one even attempts it.
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
@njmudpuppy If you loved animals, you would actually "try."
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
FUCK feral cats!!!!!!!!!!!! There is only one answer, and that is eradication!!!!!! Kill them all!!!!! Feral cats do so much damage to indigenous wildlife it's sickening!

These cats are not "poor" or "innocent" or s**t. They are simply wild animals adapted to the urban habitat. They thrive in cities because the ecosystem can sustain them. They are highly adaptable and versatile, good hunters and very intelligent animals. They don't need anyone's pity or "help" so stop feeling sorry for them.
r8wing 1 year ago
@r8wing They were bred by humans to be our companions. It's in their blood, somewhere. If they were truly wild animals they'd be wildcats; but no. They are just feral CATS.

feral cats do not need looking after. If left to their own devices they will form colonies and relearn survival in the wild, some will die but others will survive. Why do people feel the need to "rescue" them by locking them up in cages. The sad fact is these animal lovers actually beleive they are giving the cat with a better life. Feral cats DO NOT want to sit in a cage or someones house so leave them the fuck alone!!
leerees 1 year ago 3
@leerees agreed
someguy988 1 year ago
@leerees All cats are descended from the wildcat breed; they are house-cat looking felines, the "OG's" of cats that were later domesticated by humans, and they survive in the same environments as larger native predators. People seem to forget that ALL animals were originally "native" before domestication; cats are no different. They weren't born with flea-collars and scratching posts. That's how we've simply "wired" them to be to better co-exist with our needs.

I think the trap and release (to be spayed /nuetured) program is a great thing I just wish it was availble in more areas. CATS ARE GREAT CREATURES there are more cats put down in shelters than dogs everyday.. give one a home if you can! I have 3 would have a dozen if I could.

warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
I think you have a great idea there.! Neuter every fuckin' one of them so when they die, you can kill yourself knowing that are no more stray cats to take care of. They are manmade hybrids, not natural. God did not make them. Man did.!
rrhynes 2 years ago
why would i kill myself because they went extinct? i don't know why you think its such a bad thing that i care about those animals. people like you make me sick.
warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
What is bad is your fasincation with them. AS if they are something to truly behold and wonder about. You're nuts. You do have a mental and emotional problem if this vermin is your focus and desire.
rrhynes 2 years ago
i don't 'behold' them. your nuts. its not my 'focus', honey. just because i like them doesn't mean im obsessed with them. go read a dictionary and learn the definition of focus and educate your dumbass. have a nice day
warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
I know what focuse means. Everytime I make a long distance shot on a feral cat I have to refocus my scope. I want to see it's face after I pull the trigger!
rrhynes 2 years ago
enough is enough. stop being such an ass. just leave me alone, okay?
warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
Okay. Actually, I'm only pestering you if you read the words. Just ignore me,but be forewarned that I'm hitting every feral cat posting!!

They're not vermin, they're beautiful creatures. You are vermin.
Rubystars1000 2 years ago
All vermin are beautiful creatures! I could be vermin too, in the rigth circumstance. However, domestic cats are unnatural man-made vermin and that makes them even worse! Kill them.
rrhynes 2 years ago
@rrhynes Since they're "man-made," shouldn't that be "man's" fault and not the cat's?
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
@TheJazzyBReal Yes. It is mankinds fault. And it's up to mankind to correct teh mistake.
rrhynes 6 months ago
@rrhynes You were blaming the "mistake" on the cat, not "mankind."

ferals are insanely strong.i brought one indoors just for a few hours because it was hailing. she was thin, probably no more than 6-7 pounds.
i separated my own 2 15 pound cats into different rooms because she could have torn them apart in a heartbeat.
she made me scream uncle a few times whilst my own 2 lazies have a tough time with moths.
cats are sweet.

To everyone watching this video. There are so many species in the world that need your help and consideration. Cats are not one of them. Quit wasting your time and money on something that is unnatural and damaging to the native species. Save the gorillas, tigers, rhinos, etc.
rrhynes 2 years ago
People like you make me want to help these guys out even more =)
Hey instead of posting negative comments on someones passion why dont you use your free time helping out Rhinos. Thats more productive then coming on here dont you think?

You need to believe in something more worthwhile. Groups like yours have an incredible opportunity to pull your resources and work towards saving the many world species that are virtually extinct. Cats , unless they are Siberian tigers, aren't in danger of anything. True, you're never going to be able to hold one or feed one, but you need to get your priorities straight. You could do some real good, but you choose to just feel good.
rrhynes 2 years ago
True despite how much I would like to doubt that <3
I love kittehs, but what you said made sense.
Wildstar707 2 years ago
how beautiful they are. and it's so important to educate people to spay or neuter their pets. the human being can be very cruel.
DaiFriend 2 years ago
Shoot them all. They are a nuisance to anything natural and indigenous.
rrhynes 2 years ago
You know its classy to come on someones page that really cares about something and bad mouth what they believe in. Dont you have anything better to do?
JohnFromSpace 2 years ago 2
how would you like it if you were an animal and a human came up to you and said, "its a nuisance. shoot that animal" you'd be pretty mad, wouldn't you? so shut up, asshole. don't you have anything better to do? i can't imagine what awful things you do to people, much less animals.
warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
I don't do anything awful to people or animals. Why don't you get off your high-horse and do something worthwhile for nature? Cats are unnatural predators and have absolutely no place in nature. They aren't natural. Morons like you want them to be, but fail to realize their impact on nature. They don't belong there! Get rid of them and put your efforts into preserving true nature and not man-made nature. Idiot.
rrhynes 2 years ago
i have done nice things to nature! shut up!!! if you were a stray cat, you'd want someone to take care of you, feed you, etc, and all that wouldn't you? i would. and if cats are so "unnatural" then why did god create them? i do realize their impact on nature. they have dimineshed the bird population, but they have also helped us with rats and mice. we should neuter them, not kill them.
warriorcatfan565 2 years ago
@rrhynes How is the cat species an "unnatural predator that has no place in nature," if cats were originally WILDCATS born IN nature before humans came along and domesticated them into house pets .__.; Why do you people keep thinking they were born with the collars around their necks and not IN nature/native grounds?
TheJazzyBReal 7 months ago
@TheJazzyBReal They aren't natural. Get over it. They aren't protected, they aren't endangered, they serve no purpose in nature. In other words, they're parasitic, predatory and damaging to natural species....just like hogs, goats, starlings, etc. If they don't belong, get rid of them. I'm sorry, but you don't own "wildcats" and they don't sell Purina for "wildcats" or play toys or ad infinitum. Stop pretending they need to be protected.
