This is incredible! This is one of the best programs I've ever seen in my 60 years on this planet! What I wouldn't have given to see this live. I loved The Four Seasons as a teen! To the '60s: May they live forever!! Lana L. SLC, UT
Thankyou for your response. The rotations that the skater does from 2:40 -- 2:47 looks like there are two different rotation speeds. Initially she rotates slower, then at the end she's rotating faster. Are the different speeds of rotation both called "'Slip Steps"?
Whoever produced this, had a vision of one of combining one of the best musicians in the world, Franki Valli and the best skaters in the world together. Classy act, expensive to produce and not a lot of money to be made by it.
Would have loved to see Franki walking around on the ice singing while the skater, Yuka, skating around him like she worships him.
Yuka has always skated with such joy. So obvious how much she loves her sport. I agree with gruss1955. The skaters all seemed very inspired by the music and were excellent in their performances. GonzoeKb24, I was born when these songs were popular; I was a teenager and at the age of 63 still love them. They make me want to dance. I too wish we had something like this today.
this is my favorite tune by the four seasons though i don't know why sometimes--this song was not written by Bob Gaudio but sure sounds like it should have been.
It seems as if the beautiful music by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons brought out the best in all the skaters, not one tiny mistake by anyone there. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were perfect as well!
All I can say is WOW! Frankie Valli did an awesome job, as well as the skaters. He sounds just as awesome as he did 40 years ago. The show was put together beautifully. the band is great, and so are the background singers, who also look like they loved being there. Yuka Sato is a great skater and did great here. Thanks for adding these!
