Violence makes things worse. What do you think if the people in china can watch the full coverage of violence in lhasa? They will wipe those rioters out! Religion and culture shall be protected, and nobody can against it. A united China will benefit all chinese, including ethnic tibetan people. China is still a third world country, why do you want to split it? Be practical, take a serious watch on what 1.3b ppl are thinking now. It's a matter of ppl living in that area.

People who get anger most about the biased news are the people who watch CNN -oversea Chinese, not the people in China. Chinese gov't should not block CNN, in that case, will be more people condemn CNN bias. Thanks CNN, let us know you, and let us trust our home country more.

How can you possibly expect anybody to understand your thinking? As you say, the overseas Chinese who watch CNN are angry. Do you think it might be that they are able to see more of the full story and know more about the history? There are no prefect victims, but the CPC makes the situation worse by trying to control the access of journalists. Transparency and honesty is what the Chinese people need more than anything.

cnn 'what the hell" , its not the age of media emperor anymore, i respect the cnn's point of views but its good for them ,most people need alternative and thats what todays media give us "tv,satellite,radio,internet,p­apers". and as far as international news abroad is concerned the aljazeera is more honest than the us-empire's media.

yes US media is censored too, and even yahoo and Youtube. But american's can still find the true. In china, all forms of media are strictly censored and u will be prosecuted for speaking out. The reality is that the tibet monks were protesting not rioting. China's propaganda machine sent those people with knives and piled up rocks trying to incite voilence, so the tanks could roll in and kill monks. This is a common practice in china.
