I had my own ordeal with anorexia when I was a teenager. This song is so beautiful, and sad at the same time. I actually listened to this song when I was anorexic not knowing what it was about at the time. I found out about a year ago, and ever since listening to the song is a very emotional experience for me. He's so right about the duality of anorexia. You hate the disease, and yourself, but at the same time you can't live without it.
