  • Rough old ground. Needs to rake those stones away as much as possible. But it shows just what can be done to produce nutritious food.

  • I love your teaching videos. Thank you!!! Do you have knowledge about eating wild? I want to learn how to find edible wild plants and trees.

  • hahaha i have the same problem with my dog

  • Poor dog just wanted some lovin' haha. Thanks for the video.

  • Your videos are so inspiring! Great episodes! They should be on Televesion! Where do you get your seed from? What company? I would love to get my hands on Italian, French. Mediteranian, or Northern European heirloom vegtable seeds!

  • actually its easy to find heirloom seeds on google there are some really good ones out there. i found some good ones in my country in australia.

  • c.m.i.i'm.w. but the guy lives west of canada.

if not the case, correct me.

  • nope the orca island

  • I've heard that the UK was not a very easy place to grow things but you seem to be doing a fantastic job, and without any fancy tricks. I'm quite impressed. Your soil must be pretty good to begin with, no? I mean, you just added a tiny bit of compost and they flourish? Or have you already improved that soil? I can hardly believe my eyes!

  • I like mixing my smaller seeds with a bit of sand so I can see where I am sprinking!

  • @PodChef

Thanks to you I have gotten interested in growing my own food, or at least some of it.

... My thumb just doesn't seem to be green enough though.. at least for now.

  • Excellent Video!

  • More more! Always informative and interesting Podchef...

  • I love the board idea, and have never heard of the top soil covering the seeds that is a fantastic plan. Although chicken grit on the seeds I was told will keep the moisture in and not blow any of the seeds away. Thanks for your vid!

  • 5stars.
