  • Hence the info on the corner of the page... my badzies

  • Habe dort selbst schon Zähne gesucht. leider nur ganz Kleine gefunden. so ein grosser Zahn wäre mein Traum.

  • wo ist das bitte? Ö_Ö

  • THOUGHT TO EAT WHALES ,not tought,,my typing sux

  • CHESTERHH21 ,,MEGS were tought to eat Juvinile whales and a smaller species like squalodons etc,,a lot of paleontologist believe the waters off of SC ,GA AND NC were a nursery area for these prehistoric whales and thats why so many megalodons and whale fossils are found in that region

  • megs comemin all shapes ans sizes depending on how big the shark was and what part of his jaw it came from,,thats a decent size meg,,there has never been one found"the size of your head",,the largest ever was a little over 7 and 3/8" inches on the long side,,

  • how do you get the big ones there so cool all i can find in galvisten is only little u should go there only thats there is just shark teeth not shells look there

and see wat you can find good luck

  • it might be a megaladon tooth if it was a baby but the megaladons tooth if an adult would be the size of your head not likely the smaller than your hand like this one

  • FAKE

  • wait yes I know I'm sory for the coment :( I was to bad that day and megalodon teeth are almost like tahat but bigger :( sory.

  • Yea that's not a megalodon teeth etheir megalodon teeth are 3 times bigger than that

  • Thanks for the video, my wife and I are going with west coast scuba in February. Hopefully your vid's will help us know what to look for and find a few. Thanks again, enjoyed them.

  • it's just a very large great white's tooth

  • moron go learn something

  • lol

  • i was talking to some one who thought it was a great whites tooth -.-

  • ok..

  • planted there much?

  • ive read i megalodons teeth are 6 inches long must have been a juevinile

  • if you read the side there click more info and you would no that it is staged to show how they are usually found. good video

  • This is one of the first megalodon videos that I put up and it is the only one that I staged to show how they are usually found. Come and check out the later megalodon videos with even bigger teeth.

  • no way

  • I don't care how much that is worth. If I found it it would be staying right with me in my shark collection.

  • no way findin a megladon tooth that easily but if u did gratz cause thats worth millions no joke

  • You can buy them for like 50dollars what are you high on?

  • only REALLY crappy ones that are falling apart are 50$

  • Looks more like a fully grown Great White's tooth...

  • are u retarded? that great white would swallow ur car! its a megaladon

  • If I was retarded I would be using bad grammar, like you. I use the word 'you' instead of 'u' and I use the word 'your' instead of 'ur'. Plus I use Capitals at the start of sentences.

Plus it does look sorta like a Great White tooth. Learn how to spell before you call others dummies and retards.

  • wow, way to act smart, and there is no way that tooth is of any shark that is under forty feet long. don't U know anything? and about grammar? ever hear of shortening words to type faster? most people do it on the computer, maybe UR new to this whole technology concept

  • Yeah whatever. I just always get annoyed when people on the internet call my dumb or retarded. I really am not dumb, or retarded, I'm quite smart. Also I shorten words too, I don't know what I was talking about, I just hate it when people call me things. I am also young and am used to technology...I'm not some 50 year old learning how to use a computer or anything.

Anyway...next time when someone says something you don't agree with you don't have to call them stupid or retarded.

    Thanks.

  • definitely not a great white dummy

  • 10ft for every inch. That looks to be a forty footer. I wouldn't say its a baby. I find alot in charollote harbor area

  • lol i would have swim right over it i new at swimming deep down scary down there

  • hmm well if that really is a megaladon tooth it must of been like an infantile baby one because thats the size of a large great white tooth and megaledons were big enough to eat whales on a daily basis, a great white would be an appetizer for a megaladon

  • LUCKY THOSE R WORTH THOUSANDS!

  • ill be going to venice in a week, any pointers you wouldnt mind sharing? it will be my second shark tooth dive , last time i only got a hand full of small teeth. looking for more this time.

  • dude, damn lucky find.......

  • how deep was that

  • 2 feet.

  • actually sg that is a megalodon

  • your a retard...its called different sizes...durrrrrr

  • or it could be a baby... lulz megalodons are big really big so are right but u there could be small ones but i belive that isnt a full grown adult tooth becuase those this are so fucking big

  • AND there so heavy it take like 2 people to lift them are more

  • My god a rare teeth of

    a megalodon shark

  • LUCKY!

  • i was in venice just a few days ago! if i new that i needed to go diving to find those biggens i would have! lol, now i know... next time that's what i'll do. (i did find 110 teeth on the beach though... but they weren't as awesome and big...) =(

  • wooh...i'd buy that... xD

  • And just think a full sized megalodons tooth is about 3 times that size

  • Not evern close. A full size meg tooth is in the 6-7 inch range.

  • do u live in venice i go down to sarasota once a year for about 2 weeks and go down to venice for a day or 2 i like it

  • if i picked that bastard out of the sand i'd be thinking christ I'm in the same environment as the creature that left behind this tooth

  • are you sure that was picked up in the beach? not in your fish tank? =.= doesnt look like a sea bed

  • the deepest part of the ocean is the marianas trench about 35,000ft, who knows, maybe megalodons still lurk beneath human limits. just out of site. if great white sharks survived the dinosaurs, whos to say these fellas didnt? we have only explored 20% of the ocean.. whats in the other 80%?

  • i live near venice iv been to the beaches nice out there.

  • man,i bet win you picked that beauty out of the sand you were either thinking "WHOA!!!What a tooth" or "WOW,Whoo Hoo,Pay Day" and that $300+ dollars was ringing in your head.

  • is this true

  • ive found a shark tooth that was as big as my hand...my hand aint that big tho...

  • if your that scared this would make you scareder

the megaladon can be big as 6 buses (truth me read in shark book and i saw one of the jaws man its massive!!!!

  • Luckily they are extinct

  • im pretty sure thats an exaggeration. say the size of one greyhound bus and youll be closer to fact.

  • 40-60ft long would be a good estimate of what an adult meg could grow to be.

  • im so scared of the ocean i would never go diving or anything unless i was with a crap load of other people or dolphins

  • looks like you bought it at a gift store, buried it in your aquarium and pretend you "found it."

Thats just in my opinion thumbs down or not

  • thats a huge tooth!

  • They can get 3 inches bigger! Still looking for that 7 incher!

  • where were you? i always wanted to hunt for megaloden shark bones such as teeth

  • Venice, Florida about 1 hour south of Tampa/St. Pete. You can also find fossils in rivers throughout the Southeast.

  • yeah!my cousin lives there next to a spot where she has found one of those and like a million normal shark teeth!

  • Caspersons beach, shark graveyard.

    Its pretty intense down there.

I had a run in with a smaller shark, scary as shit.

  • Really!? I would die of fear :/

  • Really the only shark I have ever run into off of any of Venice's beaches is a large nurse shark. Have found a tooth from a modern bull shark though.

  • I dont know much about Megalodon but have been interested. I have heard that some researchers have found teeth that date back as early as 10,000 or younger years ago (from what i can remember on the subject). They say this can be related evidence to the possibility of near extinct existence of megalodon, although unlikely. having much of the ocean unexplored, whats your take on this?

  • They used faulty dating techniques. The Megalodon went extinct 1 million years ago.

  • I would appreciate any link or direction to the Problem or false information given. Its not that im refusing to believe it, just curious about the issue. Thanks for the post by the way.

  • Well, the teeth in question were discovered by the HMS Challenger and dated using manganese deposits. Try wikipedia perhaps, or I'm sure that a quick google search would help. It is definitely an interesting subject, and I would suggest that you look into it.

  • Hey thanks for the quick response i appreciate it, I will definitely look into it.

  • I grew up at the beach in North Florida - Amelia Island and used to find teeth all the time. I had a reoccurring dream that I would start finding about 20 teeth this size all at once and gather them in my arms and then this wave comes and knocks me down and all the teeth are lost. I've had that dream at least 100 times.

    Nice videos.

  • Great find!

  • Seems like a very convenient find to me :)

Oh look a sharks tooth, no, a megalodons tooth! Burried in an inch of sand.

  • Some megs are found completly exposed. It just depends on how they are deposited after they are washed out of the clay by the ocean.

  • That would make sense given ocean undercurrents.

  • I think that's great white tooth. I've seen them that big before.

  • Its a meg. Great White fossils top out in the 3 inch range.

  • thats not a meg tooth! sorry to burst your bubble but meg tooths were adleasr 7 times bigger.

  • I'm sorry to tell you that you are wrong. The largest megalodon teeth that have been found are in the 7 inch range and those are very rare, so rare that they cost $20-30k to purchase one.

  • he's right - my mom bought a meg tooth about 30 years ago for hundreds of dollars and it's about 5 inches. 7 times bigger.....puhlease.

  • wow thats the shortest but coolest video ever

  • The Best Video I've seen on youtube so far!!!!!

  • very cool
