i just got to cob basra towards the end of that month.. i am very sorry for that loss to every one with the redbulls!!! i remember hearing about it like it was yesterday.. a lot happened that month. take care . SPC-ARNG
I was at the service I made it in from the BAOC. Truly sad. I was wondering what was the significance of striping the brassard at the end of the service. thanks.
the saddest thing is that i was there that night, i saw the rocket coming in and i never been this closed to a rocket attackt before.... this happen in cob basrah(trenchard line housing) god bless those 3 soldiers, son, husband, family member god bless them
My daughter has recently been assigned to the 988th MP CO. I am in awe of all of our military, God Bless you all. As for these 3 men there are no words to express my gratitude for their sacrifice. My prayers go out to their family, friends, and the 34th MP CO. Thank you for our FREEDOM.
Washington seems to be following the same control model set up in the 1920s by the British Empire to secure Mesopotamia’s oil. Namely: Install a puppet ruler, create a native army to protect him, leave some British troops and strong RAF units in desert bases ready to bomb any miscreants who disturbed the Pax Brittanica — and keep cheap oil flowing.
Coming from the city to attend this service was one of the last missions before I left. 15 months and we didn't lose anyone. We were lucky. To all you in the 34th. God bless and stay safe.
Drev was a good man i will never forget him and my dad telling me the stories of him always wanting a hug from him. Wilcox (DOC) was a good man too i did not know him but he was my dads medic. DOC wanted to go into the marines but they do not have a medical feild and my dad was in the marines and DOC always called him Gunny and my dad always called him Coreman. Wertish i did not know either but from what i hear he was very funny and love ATVs and snowmobileing
Dan Drevnick was my neighbor for 15 years growing up. He was such a nice guy. He was 2 years younger then me but is more of a man then I will ever be, he was an American hero. I miss you buddy and RIP. My heart and prayers go to you and you family.
My heart aches for every family member, close friend, etc. of these brave soldiers. Our son is currently deployed and it really hits home to see something like this. We pray for the safe return of every American soldier.
Dan Drevnick rest in peace my friend. I will never forget all the good times we had together and how much fun it was. I could never ask for a better friend. I am going to miss you buddy, i will never forget you and you will always be my hero.
