im an auburn fan i know against the over time thriller against clemson when they missed the field goal i was just standing up and my body would move and vibrate from everybody jumping around, and it holds 87,000 + plus...but if a whole stadium like this i would just fine a safe spot cause the stadium will collapse...lol

They started this I believe during the 1998 season. Maybe a year or 2 earlier. But Wisco was the first to start this and since it began it's a tradition.

If you never been to Wisconsin to experience this it's great! I highly recommend that any Big Ten football fan make the trip.

They have only not played the song once. And I believe it was in 2001 Vs Oregon when they were doing renovations. The student section response to not playing it was chanting "Fuck the Sound Guy" for about 4 mins

Yes it did start in 1998, at Wisconsin's homecoming game against Purdue. Badgers came back to win the game after this was played at the start of the 4th quarter. Tradition ever since.

Buckeye fan here and I think this is badass! I was in Mad Town in 2002 and unfortunately 2003 and the atmosphere there is as good as any other elite program in the nation. It's things like Jump Around that makes Big Ten fans and student sections better than anywhere in America. It's why you won't see SEC teams come north, especially when it gets cold.

Joe T. has HOF potential, Lee Evans will be fantastic this year with Edwards throwing him the ball and TO getting the double teams. Don't forget about Owen Daniels, a lot of NFL teams would take him as their #1 TE right now. A rookie TE to watch is Travis Beckum with the Giants, if he recovers from his injury. Chambers is a slightly above average NFL WR, Vincent was a stud in the NFL, better than solid. For UW watch QB Curt Phillips, red shirt freshman from Tennessee, compared to Tebow.
