nice video! but could you share some results of this overclocking just to compare 'Before' and 'after' states? You said you've got a high score on 3dmarks. but what was it before? And how is the system stable now?
yeah mate this is awesome thanks :) I have a coolermaster v6gt and a slightly cramped 7 slot case so couldnt pull off ur ballistic o/c... the regular 4.1 is working a charm... thanks again
@lightrevealedtech Would there be any point in using a multiplier of 20, FSB of 210 to get 4.2? Im getting corsair vengiance 1600MHz (OC to 2000MHz) with the MSI GD70 or Crosshair IV formula. Can i keep it at the stock advise of 1.475 voltage and stable? What would i need my Northbridge at? PS- will be using the 1100T.
@IvorStiffan By using the 210 FSB it would be a quicker system then just using the 200 FSB alone, but not by much, still better then nothing though. At 4.2 I dont think 1.475v will cut it, I think you would be bluescreening or just stopping alltogether, but again that depends on other factors like your motherboard and cpu cooler, you will only know by trying it out.
You can still keep your norhtbridge at normal spec or go higher depending on the multiplier you apply to it, it's upto you dude.
to overclock this processor,
disable the Turbo Core...
WHAT A GENIUS!!!
you really know what you're doing
