  • grabado en el valle de la luna?

  • dun dun duggADUNG DU DUNDUGGA DUNG

  • I can relate to this album. I personally played in a metal band many years. then I just got fed up. I asked myself is this all?!?! generic, boring metal, who cares of our music. I left the bnd and started doing different stuff and exploring. musical voyage. my old band is still playing that same style boring metal after over 10 years.. jesus christ.. I could not ever do that. anyway, renewal is my favorite kreator album.

  • Renewal is a fucking amazing album!

  • klikne zaj,,sorki ze po...

  • Kreator rules, these flip and snotty-nosed whelps who only slate and criticize the band know nothing about what music is. They must have never attended a Kreator's gig. I reckon the band changed their music style mainly during the 90's but since the colossal Violent Revolution (my favorite album amongst the stupendous Enemy of God and Hordes of Chaos) Kreator has returned again to be one of the World's greatest Thrash Metal bands.

  • People who don't like Kreator's stuff after Coma of Souls are just too close minded. Are you afraid that if you like these albums your pals will make fun of you or somethin? FUCK YOU FAGS! Every Kreator album is amazing. Stop being posers!

  • @demollyon I agree totally! Look at my username and check out what eraseragenda had to say to me...then look at his silly channel. The last verse of "Flag of Hate" is for guys like him. God listens to Slayer...Slayer listens to Kreator!

  • @MPetrozzaIsGod Nothing personal with guys that genuinely dislike Kreator's experimental records. But people who just bash a band or an album in order to be cool, kinda piss me off. I think if Kreator continued playing stuff like Coma of Souls, they would come to obscurity and become stale. They experimented, and then pulled off albums like Violent Revolution, Enemy of God (my personal favorite) and Hordes of Chaos, which is a culmination of both their classic days and them experimenting.

  • the best kreator album is PLEASURE TO KILL. This is song is a joke

  • @eraseragenda Kreator is my favorite band. I like all of their songs...EVERY ONE! They have been around for nearly 30 years. Listen to "Hordes of Chaos", then talk your garbage. In my opinion: #1 Hordes of Chaos, #2 Enemy of God, #3 Violent Revolution, #4 Pleasure to kill. Pleasure to Kill was great, but Kreator has become better musicians then they were back then. Their new music is much better than the old music in my opinion. They have been around for 29 years now. U think they got worse?

  • @MPetrozzaIsGod I don't know this just sounds kind of gay and shitty to me. So does hordes of chaos. Sorry

  • @eraseragenda well...I was gonna say "don't be sorry, you like what you like and it's strictly an opinion thing". But then I went to your channel to check out your favorites...I found NO MUSIC AT ALL. How old are you? 14? 15, maybe? You obviously know close to nothing about music. Stick to your Yu-Gi-Oh cards and stop talking about music that you have no idea about. I normally respect people's opinions, but I'm willing to bet you have never even listened to Hordes of Chaos, you fuckin poser!

  • @MPetrozzaIsGod oh man I've just been called a poser on the internet. I am defeated

  • @eraseragenda oh come on...don't take it as if some kid on the playground called you a sissy. What bands do you like? Obviously you think the kings of thrash metal are "gay" and "shitty". You probably like Avenged Sevenfold, right? Regardless of what happened...if you think Kreator is "gay" and"shitty" you either should be listening to some other band or keeping your ignorant mouth shut!

  • @MPetrozzaIsGod honestly I don't even consider this thrash metal. vio-lence's eternal nightmare is thrash metal. wehrmacht's shark attack is thrash metal. This is just slow, and not in a good way like oldschool obituary or autopsy. There's just nothing fun about it and I find it pretentious

  • @eraseragenda well...I guess that you just don't even know what thrash is. I guess when Testament came out with "The Ballad" you didn't consider them thrash, either. The truth is that you OBVIOUSLY have not even listened to Kreator or you just do not even know what thrash is. You definitely NEED to listen to Hordes of Chaos if you really think that it isn't thrash because you obviously have never heard it. Pretentious? So they lack talent? Buy a dictionary, idiot! They started thrash in 1982!

  • @eraseragenda and you were the one that said "Hordes of Chaos" was "shitty" and "gay"...then compare them to Vio-lence and Wehrmacht? Over ONE song? Open your eyes and ears before your mouth...I knew you never listened to "Hordes of Chaos". Like I said...POSER! You are 21...You know nothing about KREATOR!!! A closed mouth gathers no foot so shut it! Kreator isn't thrash??? Hahahahahaha. Go and buy "Hordes of Chaos"...then run your polesmoker!

  • @MPetrozzaIsGod you know, talking to you is exactly like talking to a kid from a playground. Everything I say sends you into a furious rant about how I'm lying and how no one could possibly dislike any of the music you love. Eat a dick and calm down

  • @eraseragenda and being that you weren't even alive when Kreator released Pleasure to Kill...I think that I have been around long enough to know a poser since I was around when it came out...Do you even know Kreator's frontman's name?...Do you know what the song Amok Run is about? Answer quickly and you will prove yourself not a poser. Just a hint...The answers will not be on the back of your Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

  • @eraseragenda You think this song is a joke? What is so bad about it? I guess it is easy to find a song that you consider a joke when a band has put out as many songs as Kreator. I wonder who your favorite band is? I can't wait to see how many jokes I find from your favorite band. God listens to Slayer...Slayer listens to Kreator!!!

  • @eraseragenda after reading your faves list, I have no idea what kinda music u r even into. Slayer fan maybe? If Slayer was half as talented as Kreator, they'd be awesome. God listens to Slayer...Slayer listens to Kreator. Anyway...this song rocks!!! Mille is the thrash master!

  • The best Kreator album is Hordes of Chaos. Only Kreator gets better with age!

  • The best KREATOR album.....

  • fucking epic rule-age thumbs if you agree whats ur fav kreator album holla back

  • Still pretty groovy even if its a change from earlier works with the industrial influences.

  • i love this song

  • garbage

  • @danielpeci sure...call it garbage...I love the songs that you have listed as your faves on your channel. The last verse of Flag of Hate was written for you my friend!

  • I like this album but, in my opinion, they became one of the most greatest band of thrash metal due to albums like Endless Pain, Pleasure, Terrible Certainty, Extreme Aggression (my favourite album) or Coma of Souls.

  • @solidsnakemg94 I'm with you...but I like them all...but the last 3 are the most technical, have superior lyrics and are by far the best. Pleasure to Kill was simply a how-to for up and coming bands in the 80's...The newest albums from Kreator are epics that will, as Kreator has done, get better with time.

  • This album is one of my favorites by the band.

  • one of the best metal album ever

  • tres bon album,un pen différent des autres ala premiere écoute mais tres tres bon!

  • one of the worst metal album of all time. and I'm a die hard Kreator fan. I don't know what struck on the Mille's head while doing this crap, His vocal is really really bad, There's some good ideas here and there but so badly executed. and what make it even worst is the fact it was just released right after somes masterpieces, Hopefully, Kreator is back and Mille fully recovered from a decade of crap. I wish more bands would do the same!!

  • This album is very different from the previous ones , to me , very progressive at the time it came out. Slow catchy riffs, groovy and still very Kreator sounding. Great record !

  • Politicians, Fake Musicians, create no relationships! \m/

  • Buen disco.... !!

  • Up the KREATOR!!!...Cade o Frank porra???

  • when this album came out I'm pretty sure everyone was expecting another typical thrash album along the lines of coma of souls but instead was surprised when Kreator had infact reinvented their sound and came back with something more experimental and I'm glad they went this direction and didn't just "play it safe". One of my Faves for sure!

  • OHHH YEAAAAAAH

  • Great song but I didn't get into the rest of this album.

  • This album was blasted by fans and critics, but it sounds better and better everytime I listen to it. Maybe ahead of his time

  • one of the best productions on any metal album ever!!

  • Young Mille :-)

  • fudido do caralho

  • fudido

  • so shit compared to what they were before 1990

  • @Astraeos13

you mean they ended after Kill'em all?

  • I have done a cover of this song, its pretty cool. check on my profile later. an this song rocks!!!!!!! Kreator fucking rules!!!!!!

  • ha sounds like sepultura!

    kick ass!!

    gonna see them at thrashfest!

  • ...90s a decade of thrash metal singers that has their best tone of voice and sound like killers!! BUT they where doing shitty albums...look milles perfect voice on this...James hetfield too on the load reload...mustaine too...well araya was doing good, etc etc

  • renewal of fascism

  • the best european thrash band

  • @thereaper2108 KAT is much more better...

  • i really like the vocals

  • Sounds and looks like sepultura style.

  • @diabeticmonkey

    metallica style*

  • @debiion I hear a lot of sepultura in this, but I can hear metallica too.

  • @diabeticmonkey or slayer?Kreator are pretty much their own metal...trying new things but sticking to their roots...thrash

  • @diabeticmonkey This song is from 1992, a year before Sepultura's Territory-video, which looks a lot like this.

  • @shitsucktapes Interesting.

  • its metallica style -.-

  • That barefoot chic with long dark hair is hot

  • I HATED this album when I first heard it. It was released right after Coma of Souls and the first time I heard it, it was not what I was expecting at all. I ended up lending it to buddy who told me to listen to it again 'cause it rocked. Now this is probably one of my favorite Kreator albums and the best of their experimental stage. I wish they'd make another album in the same vein.

  • sound weak !!! but very good !look like a sepultura video

  • cuz it s just a rock band album not thrash/speedmetal as they set out to be

  • kreator are at their best when playing their own sound, which is pure thrash!

This sounds just like any other thrash band at the beginning of 90's.Even the video, sand - just like slayer, sepultura...and they all copied metallica. But dont get me wrong, I love em all .Metal is my religion!!!

  • Haters gonna hate... this album is SICK.

  • THIS IS NOT TRUE THRASH METAL!!

  • bien dicho! esta danda no es para jotos que se quieren ver bonitos.

  • damn what's with Mille's voice?.... well... at least we have the "old" Kreator back (:

  • PARECE COMO SI PETROZZA SE LO ESTUVIERA ENCAJANDO A AUNA MINA EN EL VIDEO

  • best album of Kreator.

  • @rodionerro yes!!! best album!! but for POSERS!!!!

  • I like everything about this song! guitar sound... drum sound... vokal especially... it's just perfect!

  • Some songs worsen over time... this one gets better and better :-)

  • All critics are gay. just saying

  • boring (their first 5 albums rule though)

  • it looks like season in the abyss or something like this

  • i dont like the vocals from this album on

milles 80s thrash vocals were the best

  • yea man too much blast beats in thrash can fuck up some of it sometimes the slow and heavy is all u need for a good headbang

  • Actually the Thrash Metal kings would be Sadus, Dark Angel, Wehrmacht, Sepultura, and Kreator, if not more.

  • @KissMeImPunk Don't forget Slayer, man.

  • @KissMeImPunk thrash metal kings ?? -_____-

  • This song is heavy...

  • AWESOME KRETOR !

  • Renewal was a fucking KILLER album!!!

  • Step 1 for Thrash Metal experimentation SLOW THE HELL DOWN lol

  • this was on television and i didnt see it :(

  • 4me,this the best kreator album...ever!

  • is still and will always be better than metallica!

  • viva XD

  • I like this album. And I remember my classmates in the early nineties, we all listened Kreator. And generic opinion was that Renewal is a less aggressive album, but still very good one. Maybe some more listening needed than Extreme Aggression or such classics.

  • @Fenriz17 Kreator has always done what they wanted to. Look at what Metallica did when grunge tried to kill metal....Kreator always did what they wanted to no matter the money, fame, or what anyone thought about it. That is what makes Kreator the best of them all. Keep your Flag of Hate held high!! Besides...Kreator's newest album, "Hordes" is both fast and heavy plus adds the technical aspects that come only from years of playing. New Kreator comes out in mid-2012...I can't wait for it.

  • amazing:)

  • Their older albums were much better. It is hard to believe how much they changed.

  • Wow. I can't believe they went from Pleasure To Kill and Extreme Aggression to this slow and boring shit. 'sigh'

  • They rock!Thrash is the main metal!

  • de ke habla la cancion?

  • new metalhead came today

  • This song is waaaaaaaay better live with the normal Mille's voice

  • yeah...the vocals were different, cuz, they're not trendy...(i had the cassette in 93'-but did'nt understand how hardcore it was till 98'...)

  • yeah is METAL FUCKK \M/

  • they have so mutch better albums

  • Female's poison, male's aggression

  • I dont see why everyone hated this album

  • me too , but i think that it's because to the voices who are differents , whereas in the others album , it's most ..... KREATOR

  • @Rattlehead1818 well i do D:

  • Comment removed

  • @ivysaur123 so why do you hate it?

  • @Rattlehead1818 idk xD it's weird cause kreator is trash metal (no way! ¬¬) and this album doesnt represent it, i think that their old fans didnt like it cause it sounds more light, more relax... just listen to their other albums like pleasure to kill. thats trash metal and ... thats my philosophy xD

  • @ivysaur123 Respectable opinion, and I have listened to their older stuff, which I prefer, but this album wasnt horrible as everyone says it is. Sure it was a bit experimental, but it was still metal, unlike Metallica.

  • @Rattlehead1818 haha nice :D

  • @ivysaur123

    THRASH metal. NOT trash metal.

And my opinion is that while the album may not be as heavy, it is just as great. A band that is willing to explore and experiment with their sound is a better band than one that sounds the same for all eternity. Progress is only made through experimentation and effort.

  • @3dEnthusiast well said my friend

  • @3dEnthusiast but when metallica does that people call that selling out

  • @DinZg4ever That's because a lot of people felt betrayed by the fact that a key band in defining metal stopped sounding metal. I like Metallica, but you have to admit that Saint Anger could fit alongside a lot of modern rock. Kreator kept an element of metal to their exploration. Plus, from Violent Revolution on, they kicked their metal back into gear while keeping the new elements.

Not saying Metallica is bad, but their new stuff certainly isn't like the stuff they blew the world away with.

  • @3dEnthusiast I do agree that Violent Revolution and albums after that are better than metallica's return however Kreator experimented with gothic and industrial but people did't taught of it as a stab in the back as they did for metallica who experimented with hard rock & blues on Load/Reload and St Anger is god knows what

  • @3dEnthusiast can i copy your comment to put in my video description of kreator?my english is bad..i can understand english but i can't make my own sentence to describe something great like this band..

  • @Rattlehead1818 oh well, and mille's voice is weird too D:

  • @Rattlehead1818 it was the beginning of their "experimental period"

  • @jhintz01 Yeah but it was still metal, and it was far better than metallica

  • @Rattlehead1818 why all people compare all bands with metallica ?thre are better bands than metallica .Kreator is the best

  • @Rattlehead1818 NO NEED TO HATE IT, ITS AWESOME !

  • @Rattlehead1818 because they whine that they changed too much from their old music. i think its still great altho i do prefer their other stuff

  • @Rattlehead1818, because it was total crap after all those masterpieces. Hopefully the TRUE Kreator is back since Violent Revolution

  • @metaluke17 Dude at least their not mafagica who have totally sucked cock for the last 20 years! kreator kept it heavy but tried stuff a little outside their comfort zone and as a musician you cant keep making the same record over and over again luckily people like myself and other were their to support them by buying these records so they could keep going through the rough time for metal in the late 90's so they could record violent rev just sayin if your a kreator fan just understand a little

  • @metalheadzack, Kreator is not the only one that failed back in the day, almost all thrash did, Remember Sepultura, Exodus, Forbidden, Testament, Overkill, Destruction, Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, Annihilator, Coroner, Megadeth, Xentrix... I Still don't understand what happened in the head of their records labels but it was not for the best, Thrash demise is a fact and that was long time before internet came up! Great news is that almost all those bands are back on track!

  • @Rattlehead1818 Dude I am one of the biggest kreator fans and I have LOVED EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE THEY HAVE NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME WITH ANY OF THEIR RECORDS! In fact the ones that were not liked by most fans I loved like this one I think it got such a backlash because coma of souls was so amazing I'm running out of char so anyways I love everything they have done and their amazing in conc

In my eyes every album they have put out has been one classic after another from day one

  • @Rattlehead1818 I got a copy at the dollar store, how am I gunna hate that??

  • Very Underated ..One of the best

  • Ahahaha Kreator on Viva

    just fuckin' epic! :D

  • lyrics from this album it's fuckin good

  • Una de los 10 mejores tracks del thrash metal; excelente calidad y y que decir de los riffs.

  • dieses video ist so scheiße das es schon wieder genial ist.

  • brilliant song

  • I like the album, the first time they sound distinct and individual.

  • Awesome song from a great album! Renewal is their best album of the excperiencing period and on of my favourite Kreator albums generally

  • this is the worst kreator album of all

  • spettacolare.

  • Great song and great album

  • reminds me of season in the abyss

  • The videos (Seasons and Renewal) have 'desert based settings'. This is why perhaps. The lyrical content, subject matter, and song direction are completely different though.

    Cheers,

  • lets not forget Sepultura's "arise" video!

  • Along w/ Kreator, Sepultura Arise = great video, song, album, and band! On the same subject, remember the 'Dead Embryonic Cells' video? Also filmed in the desert.

  • old sepultura fucking rules

  • This song (and the whole album that it came from) took a long time for me to get into. Not for any real reason other than in my younger days I didn't want to hear Kreator experiment too much. Lately I hear it with a different ear, I like it alot. Great lyrics too

  • its weird, i shunned this album when it came out because they "experimented." but now i cant get enough of it!

  • Renewal is a strange but fascinating album - can't say exactly what it is, but it holds a special place in my collection. I rarely feel like listening to it, to be honest, but when I do, it is just awesome. Weird, huh?

  • I love them. They make just about every american thrash band w/ exception of Megadeth look like complete diahrea.

Especially this record. Renewal = God.

  • Actually..no. Bands like Sadus and Dark Angel make Kreator look slow.

  • the band has been around since `82... they have earned every right to try different things, why tie yourself down to one genre ?? this isn't McDonalds... you WILL get sick of Big Macs afterwhile.... this band is and will forever be regarded as one of THE gods of the thrash metal movement.

  • They are, too bad no one sees that anymore. Around here, theres a bar called Peabodys, its' basically like a bar that mediocre bands can play gigs at and such. Guess whose playing there soon? Kreator. They deserve a much bigger venue than that!

  • maybe it's like that over there in the US. since they're a german band, they fill every venue to the very last seat here. i've seen them twice this year, and wherever they are everybody goes COMPLETELY apeshit.

they're constantly stepping up everytime they are in the US, i'm very sure they'll play the big gigs very soon.

  • Been around since 80.

First record came out 79-79. First official Kreator release in 1980.

    Cheers,

    Fellow Kreator fanatic!

  • Kreator didn't come out that early..

  • Bullshit, didn't They have been around that fuckin' long. Watch Kreator: Live Reaktion: Revisioned Glory, then you will know. It documents their entire timeline.

  • Prove it. They may have been out as early as 83 or 84, but not 81.

  • Watch the fuckin' video. There's your goddamn proof.

  • 1982 source:wiki

  • they started in 83 fool

  • no tormentor formed in 82, kreator TECHNICALY formed in 83
