Great video (sans the introduction) but Rothko is not a Minimalist, he is an Abstract Expressionist, and Minimalism was in reaction to and contradicting that. That is all technical, but beautiful video of Rothko (my favorite artist!)
@brieandchardonnay Yes, you're right, I just thought these two videos were a good contrast. Rothko is not a minimalist, but you could argue Morton Feldman is (the soundtrack). Anyway, the point was just to make a contrast to illustrate the feel of minimalism. Also, I didn't make either video, I stole them both from elsewhere on youtube :)
