If thefts like these become an issue all packages will have to be signed for no ifs ands or buts about it. I do know all commercial deliveries have to be signed for.

I had to steal my own package once because it was sent to an old address by mistake, the UPS guy had just pulled up and dropped it off and saw me grab it but he didn't care. I use to work for a cell phone company and it seemed I got 20 calls a day about people having their cell phone package stolen. Alot of the time we would find the phone on the account were someone on the plan stole it or the customer was lying in order to get a free phone. People are really shitty.
