One time some guy tried to tell me it was Johnny Cash who wrote this song and not Trent Reznor, which is ppular opinion. And I said that was bullocks. Bullshit. NIN wrote Hurt plain and simple. But then I did some research and turns out that crazy guy was right about it the whole time. I posted all the evidence up on my channel so you guys can learn the truth too. Turns out Johnny Cash really did write the song, and a lot of people collaborated to and make it seem otherwise.

what pickups/amp/distortion are you using? if its in your channel just say "in channel", i dont want to be a hastle of making you type everything

It's the SZ320 bridge-pick-up played bare into an recording-soundcard. I turned the volume-poti halfway down since it would slightly distort otherwise and added a pinch of reverb.

@EdgarHalliwax believe it or not i got some semi decent tones out of putting my Ibanez practice amp to my computer as the headphones out. i ran it Guitar-amp-converter cable-computer. The distortion at the end wont be any where near as clean though

can you use a pick to play this? or does it have to be played by finger picking...

The chorus would be tough with a pick because you aren't playing adjacent strings. It's possible if you dampen the off strings with an extra finger, though.
