lets face it this guy is disrespected and undervalued. 3rd round? fuck that he is first round talent he has more td's and adrian peterson in college and he is more of a threat than felix jones or tashard choice.i like those two but this guy is much better.
what a run..Demarco could be a ballet star, LOL..he is so underappreciated..I keep looking everywhere for the pic of him coming into the End zone and doing the arm motion of O-U right in the face of the camera.
@alexhp91 I'll try to look that up..I recall it from the latter part of the 2008 season..I think ABC used tht shot of him in the endzone on the promos and cutawas..I'll look it up, thanks.
@carter10tt haha idk about THAT. lol I like your optimism, but I think he'll go late 2nd, or early 3rd round. Ryan Broyles will probably be selected before Murray, assuming Broyles enters the draft. Plus, I think either Andrew Luck or Jake Locker are projected to be the first overall pick.
Good run but I'm not convinced he HAD to run like that to stay inbounds. Not saying he was showboating, just saying he made it look bigger than it is. Still, great athletic ability there
@FShani if you've ever played ball as a skill player and exploded to the edge you know the momentum is hard to control sometimes... in fluid movement i believe he has the best footwork in college football to be that big... hater.
@SoonerFanJP I did play ball as a running back and linebacker... along with basketball, baseball, soccer, rugby, and several other unrelated sports, I'm well aware of momentum. I still think he chose to tiptoe along the sidelines, potentially exposing himself to a big hit when he didn't need to.
I also said that he didn't do it to show off and acknowledged his footwork, I'm not a hater. But next time he gets to the edge like that some defender is going to make him pay.
@FShani obviously you dont know that much about momentum... if your running one way as fast as you can (by the way: this kid is 200lbs and runs a 4.4 which is more momentum than you got) then plant and cut (he even moves the turf) 90 degrees and turn up field. Your legs are going up field while your uper body is still moving to the sidelines. Now he does a nice job regaing his balance long enough for his feet to saty in bounds.
@OUdidntknow84 That he does, but it still only happens because he was looking up the sidelines the whole time and not looking in. He never intended to cut it back in, he was trying to get to the edge and stay along the edge. Great athletic ability, no ill intent but a potentially dangerous play.
@FShani Dude he was just going around a block. The problem with you guys is you try to make things more complicated than they really are. He is running the ball he see's a block (by the sideline), he goes around it and tip toes his way in, simple as that.
What a beautiful run, great team and individual effort. Murray is really establishing himself on the field this year, a real inspiration for the offense.
Im a Longhorn fan and I hate Oklahoma, but when I saw this guy I knew that the Cowboys had to get him. DM#29
