I lost my dad when I was 11. My parents were in the middle of a horrible divorce. My father left me and my mother living in our home with no money and my mother soon after started going down a dark path. Drugs and violence took over her and our relationship crumbled fast.

I was alone.

I hadn't seen my dad in years and once my mom was put in jail i was sent to live with him. Life was horrible. We were poor and he had a serious drinking problem. A few weeks later my dad died in his sleep.
