Seriously, great job, especially for a first effort. I had the faintest inkling of these two things going together when I first heard the song last year, so it's nice to know I wasn't crazy all by myself.
My only suggestion would be to find a better transition for 2:26 than the quick blackout. It broke the flow a bit.
