  • I have one question if there is no god where did everything come from

  • @xBarrowz

If there IS a god where did god come from? If there needs to be a beginning to existence and that beginning needs to be explained then there also needs to be the beginning of god. If so what created god? And even if you can answer that question, you also need to explain the infinite regress of creators that would inevitably stem from this. Did god create himself? If god can just spontaneously come into existence why can't the universe?

  • @xBarrowz by accedint?

  • @babeCZar FUCK you

  • i am not christan how ever u spell it if dont believe in god thats just my own beleif thats all but i am a little buddist i respect him

  • religion is bullshit, it's a man made myth to divide and conquer the mass, follow ur heart and u will find GOD.

  • @beepbeepimaification Okay Oprah

  • I'm athiest.. I grew up in a Christian home & I converted to athiestism:3

  • @ciriahcallen

You don't "convert to" or "become" an Atheist, just as a football player who retires does not become an A-footist. The only reason Atheists are even given a name is because there are some many Theists. You wouldn't call someone who doesn't believe in the tooth fairy an A-Fairiest, would you? We are born Atheist, so by extension you "de-converted" from Theism.

  • I am human.....why the hell do u discriminate?

  • if you believe that the bible is the word of god then you are sadly mistaken. i wish it were true for your sakes but unfortunately it is not. you will not find god in any of the holy books. that angry, jealous, petty tyrant is not real. he is the invention of someone in order to gain power over the dumb masses. i miss the false security blanket called christianity but it was time to grow up and be a man. men don't beg anyone for anything, not even god. man up and just say no to god.

  • @babeCZar Why are you going to put someone down for believing in a book that tells people to do right? To be honest, kinda, loving, and best of all, to forgive. Why is that bad? I would rather believe in what you call a "fake" God, than this shit hole we call a Government. Sorry I have no faith in humanity anymore with all of the greed and deceit in this world. Point a gun at my head if you must because I will surely die in the name of Jesus. How is that not "manning up"?

  • @Clarkjr33 you should read that so called good book. it teaches bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, cruelty to animals, child molestation. also, if you think jesus died for you, you really don't understand the old testament at all. the so called sacrifices were only for unintentional sins. not for willing sins. you don't know the bible that's why you don't know it's contrived.

  • @Clarkjr33

What about the parts in the Bible where god specifically endorses slavery and sanctions the stoning of unruly children? Is that right?

  • Less christian Americans = less ignorant Americans

  • i was born jewish, but i have no idea what religion i am. i do believe in Darwin's theory of evolution, but i am not an atheist. I dont really want to classify my beliefs as of now because i have no idea what they are. but if i had to i would say i am agnostic.

i am trying to educate myself in other religions so i dont just have the socially constructed understanding of them. but i honestly dont ever plan on becoming christian. its just not for me. i do

  • @madasrabbits06

If you don't believe in a deity you are an Atheist, it's that simple. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in god(s). Agnosticism cannot exist on it's own pertaining to Theism. Gnosticism deals with what you know and Theism deals with the belief in a deity. If you "don't know" you are Agnostic, and if you don't believe in a deity you are Atheist. You are an Agnostic Atheist by definition.

  • im 75% hair gel

  • I don't cling to anything, agnosticism, atheism, religious. I am me, and that's all I know. I don't need to align myself with another person's belief system.

  • @NateCola i agree! i hope that by the time i am older i will have constructed my own set of beliefs that are not a parallel to any religion, but are simply what i believe. :)

  • @NateCola

that's sort of a polar swing... for fear of "aligning yourself with another person's belief system" you refuse to answer any of the biggest questions with which man has grappled. Sort of like someone who is a non-conformist just for the sake of non-conformity. Atheism, theism, even agnosticism... they're just some answers that people have come up with and for the sake of communication they've been qualified and given labels.

  • @NateCola but that statement alone connects you to all those other people with the same exact feeling. wether you care about it or not you all have a common trait.

  • @NateCola

Atheism is not a belief system.

  • the only religon i belive in is not working on mondays and not wereing pants to work

  • I'm agnostic.

  • One could call me christian but sometimes theres no feet in the sand.

  • owls!

  • Science and religion have never made sense to me, so i just listen to music, try not to get hooked up in beliefs. I seriously do like this peice of art though.

  • just because youre not christian doesnt mean youre an atheist. most belive in god but they think they have a free pass into heaven; they think they dont have to do anything god and/or jesus tells us to0. "just believe" is what most think.

  • I have faith in Jesus Christ and put him at the center of my life. I love God. That about sums up my religious beliefs.

Don't associate religion (which is corrupted by the sins of man) with the Word of God.

  • Christian here, big fan of your work Phil, as to the debate between science and religion, there are elements of faith and evidence in both, I sometimes thing the number of Christians would be a lot higher if e argued less and loved more.

  • Agnostic with a strong tendency towards atheism.

  • Agnostic. <3

  • Born Again Child Of God and Proud!

    AKA: Saved Christian.

  • Raised and am Satanist.

  • Christian :)

  • Taoist. Accept it.

  • Cool drawing. I like how you used one tiny picture to draw the whole big one.

  • cariannburnett, science in no way disproves religion. I've heard of many prominent scientists becoming christian after trying to use science to disprove religion. Science doesn't prove or disprove religion, just as religion, or at least christianity, does not disagree with science. To believe either way requires faith, in religion or science, because there is no solid evidence either way. Personally, I am a christian.

  • Science doesn't disprove religion. But religion requires faith. Science requires evidence, not faith. That's the difference.

  • AMEN!

Very well spoken and very true.

  • In a thousand years christianity will be gone just like all the other religions in the history of the world pre judeochristianity. It all depends on where and when you were born and is complete luck.

    Atheism - just live life!

  • Christian

  • atheist all the way. science disproves religion, ACCEPT IT!

  • i just love the art. the symbolism.. and everything i wants to convey.. that's ART... as it happens in our lives. thanks for your work man. It's just great

  • Comment removed

  • Let me just ask this: who cares? Everything changes.... Why make such a big deal?

Plus, just let people do and be what they want. In the end it should be their choice. "It should be"

  • instead of getting mad at him just answer his question no reason to get worked up over something unimportant. im muslim and i belive in god jus as much as the next person. my mother is catholic my father muslim. to me religions are basically the same with small but huge differences. the overalll belief of being a good person and loving thy neighbor remains the same though. thats what people forget most of the time. its not so much who or what you worship but how you do it.

  • I'm not christian, but i'm not saying that I don't believe. My best friend and fiance came from extremely religious households growing up, so when they moved out they became really rebelious about it and some of it got pushed onto me. However, I do agree with them that religion is mythology and was a way for people to explain the unexplainable. Then science was 'created' in order to better understand gods work. However, science evenutally made 'god' obsolete

  • for the sake of being simple, i say i'm a christian. but i really don't like saying that because i'm not "christ-like" at all. i'm trying to be to the best of my abilities, but i'm gonna come up just like we all do. plus the title of christian ais man-made just like mormon and catholic and all the rest. to avoid titling, i've decided to just say that "i am one seeking God"

  • pastafarian... RIGHT HERE!!! :)

  • I follow my bro Jesus Christ. Christianity isn't accepted in my work place I can live with that. I talk about Jesus and what He's done for me. I still believe he's he only way to get to heaven, and I wish others could see what I have. I've never tried to impose my beliefs with force, but implicate my faith through my words and my actions.

  • Can you honestly say that you've ever been blessed by God?

  • God did not create humanity; Humanity created God.

I myself am an agnostic atheist: I don't know whether there's a God up there, and until I get more scientific proof, I'm choosing to believe there isn't one.

  • Spot on!

I just can't accept that God is watching us until somebody actually tells me how they know. I don't consider a book written by monks to be sufficient evidence.

  • A book written by MONKS?

    wtf

  • I know what you mean. I am exactly the same way, but.... monks? Really?

  • 75% christain? dont forget the other faiths

  • hes not but the toher faiths don't even make 1 percent probably. budism, muslim, they are all a very VERY small population. America was originally supposed to be a christian country, contradictory to what the socialists and liberals have to say, the founding father and 13 colonies were all christian. but some people confuse this. that does not mean we discriminate others, it means we go in favor of the christian faith when it runs into polotics. these days, well were headed into socialism. =(

  • yeah with Obama as prez

  • America was supposed to be Christian? LOL Read your history son. The founding fathers were the ones who separated Church and State, not some socialists. Our constitution was design to prevent the US from ever having a state sponsored religion. Any by the way, several of the founding fathers were basically agnostic if you bother to see the negative things they had to say about Christianity- especially Jefferson.

  • What you neglect to mention is the religion our 'founding fathers' left behind for us. If you look around in even the most governmental of government places such as... the white house, there are actual religious quotes, from the bible or other religious leaders etched into the architecture. This is just one example of government and religion among many.

  • Uhm you are retardedddd. The US was a way for the people in Europe to escape from the monarchy and they were call pilgrims. The Pilgrims came to America to get away from the monarchy and practise whatever religion they want. Thats why, you know that important peice of paper that gives us our rights has in there a right to any religion.

  • Thats cool!Thats awesome u put this up

  • Evolution is science. How did this ever get mixed up with religion?

  • Everyone should have their own decision of what they want to believe in. I don't believe in any God myself, but I respect my religious friends for their believes, as long as they don't try to drag me into any religion.

  • i like that bro im christian tho. wow i just made a ryme... anyway thats cool that you respect the whole rligion thing but i gotta ask. don't worry im not trying to "drag" you into religion but i goota know. do you really get mad when people celebrate religious holidays like christmas and stuff?

  • Nobody gets mad about Christians celebrating Christmas. If you think that you miss the point. People get mad about having the beliefs of others imposed on them. Celebrate all you want, but don't expect me to say "merry christmas" back to you when I'm not Christian. Ask the average Christian how much they would like it if they went to walmart and a Muslim greeter told them "happy Ramadan!"

  • good point i totaly respect that but what about the whole new holiday for athiests wats your take on that?

  • I hadn't heard about a new holiday for atheists. Don't know about that. I already get all the other holidays off so I don't need it. I prefer to just stick to the Christian holidays since those are the days most of my family will have off. I'm kind of stuck on their schedule even though I'm not celebrating the holidays like they are. I just look at it as time to spend with family and don't participate in the religious aspects (e.g. saying grace).

  • thats cool i respect that

  • Holiday for atheists: Festivus.

Because it's for the rest of us...

  • Dude!! Thank you for the "festivus" comment. I've been all over youtube asking simple questions regarding Adam. I have been having laughs at some of the comments I've read from Christians. But YOURS! had me on the floor!!! :)

  • cool vid :D

  • I am a Christian and I am proud. I know Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Being a Christians means following Jesus Christ and believeing in things unseen. Remember everyone, Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life!

  • Why do you preach?

  • i preach because that is what my Lord and Savior sent me to do. I am honoring my God.

  • Interesting. The trees that do not bear fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire but by this logic which I don't mean to single you out for using b/c it's quite widespread. The purpose of humanity is to preach. In that case couldn't we simply have been mouths and brains (you can treat that as a rhetorical question if you want) and if the entirety of the world converts then would the meaning of life change? It just seems like such a boring existence

  • we preach because thats what god tells us to do.

  • Amen brother!

  • wwe4meplusT yes i am chirstian, but i was talking to phil hansen

  • So does believing in Darwin's theory of evolution mean that you're not a Christian? I was raised Catholic, and they taught evolution in our Catholic school! Genesis was explained as a way of people understanding things back when it was written. Believing in evolution in no way lessens the splendor of God!

  • im christian

    but are you christian

  • phil are u cristian???????????????

  • Any supernatural belief system should be able to accommodate obvious realities to have any semblance of voracity.

It appears to me here, at the beginning of the 21st century, that what has been postulated thus far falls well short of that criteria.

The exponential increase in understanding and information availability should increasingly preclude the mass acceptance of wild speculation and blind assurances.

    We are waking up.

I have faith in my fellow man to "evolve" a greater reasoning.

  • before any misunderstanding.

I think that religion is not bad.

but i do think it´s the cause of allmost all (and if not than at least most) of the problems in the world are caused by religion.

    look at the human history.

how many deaths have'nt there been just because of people having another religion.

it's not that the religions want this.

most of the time it's the opposit.

  • all i'm trying to say is.

the basic rules of any religion are moral rules.

its good if you use your religion to be a good person but DO NOT think that just because someone has another mind, he can't be a good human.

you don't need a god just to live a good life.

try saying i'm a good person insted of I'm a good christian, moslim, budist, atheist ore what ever.

  • I agree on some of what you wrote, being a good human because this is what a true religion is for. Me, as a muslim believing in all the prophets, it supports Islam that it is the final religion from God.

  • It drives me nuts when atheists throw obscure references they heard from another atheist and says yeah thats right. If your going to argue the matter KNOW the MATTER.

  • You falsely assume that I haven't read the gospels. They were the first stories I ever knew in life, and I have read them many times since. The point is, I could come up with contradictions all day long, and you would have to make up some obscure reasoning to defend something long since proven false. It's sad how people defend something proven to be inaccurate. What are you afraid of?

You know what drives me nuts? When theists assume that I'm as mindless as they are. I do my own thinking.

  • God is a Myth

  • I'm intrigued that the only two items are Jesus fish and Darwin fish. What about Gefilte fish?

Has Darwin really become the slogan for "not Christian" (oversimplifying Darwinism, Christianity, and non-Christians)? I'd like to see a project on what it is about inter-faith relations that makes a 75% majority keep such a close eye on their "dwindling" numbers; what do they perceive as the consequences of being in the minority in the US?

  • First, we're no longer a Christian country, we are a post-Christian country. Second, faith doesn't seem to mean anything to some people, a LOT of people. I see phrases like "evidence" and "untestable claims" just here on the first page of comments. God will not give rock solid proof of His existence because it takes faith and love, not science and what you can see and feel. If we had a god we could see and feel, then we would surely treat him human and degrade his value over time.

  • It's not a matter of more of less of any specific religion or of people who are athiest, although it's now socially acceptable to be athiest. I'm christian but I'm tolerant and often understanding as well. The only thing that confuses me is the rise in agnostics, does my generation never have existential crisies? do we simply accept the world's existence? Wherever I need a push in my religious thoughts and discoveries I just look at dinosaur bones

  • because more people are gay

  • organized crime comes in many forms, and the Christian God is NO exception

  • i was raised christian but now im half buddhist half athiest

  • i am just a good person. that's all =]

  • Comment removed

  • "So there you have it, America with less Christianity." (insert drawing of a smiling human) Makes perfect sense

  • One nation under God (the God this is talking about is the christian God, Jesus Christ!! if you don't believe in Jesus your not a christian, its as simple as that!)

  • God Bless You. I agree completly

  • be christian, don't use condoms ;)

  • technically I'm christian, but I'm not sure if I believe

  • I think I Can Help With That...

  • you can't be christian and not believe

  • What I mean is that I was born Catholic, I go to a Catholic school, but personally I see myself as agnostic.

  • well I'm glad your not an atheist because personally I can't understand not believing in God I mean what a sad and lonely existence, what would you stand for, what would you live for, but, and don't take this the wrong way, being agnostic pretty much means you lack faith

  • No, lacking faith is atheism.

Agnosticism deals with the knowledge of god. So a gnostic claims to "know" god exists. An agnostic says the do not know if god exists. Likewise, a theist is a believer in "god", and an atheist is a lack of such belief. The common misconception is that atheists claim there is no god. Some may say that, but most don't. There can be agnostic theists, gnostic theists, agnostic atheists (like me) and gnostic atheists.

  • first of all when I said sad I didn't mean pathetic, and by definition an athiest does not believe in God (any god) and don't feel bad for me beleving theres a god beyond a shadow of a doubt it quite comforting, I only ment to "me" it seems depressing and lonely and yes I do need a God to find meaning and things to stand for, if I didn't believe in God what would be the point in standing for anything?

  • Right, atheists do not believe in some god. You, yourself, by choosing a god, are making yourself an atheist to hundreds of other gods. Some people just go one god further.

I don't doubt you find belief comforting, I think its the primary reason faith has survived. But you said you need a god to find meaning in life, and I think its quite sad. I'm sorry, but I just don't need a magic-man in the sky to give me meaning. I'm perfectly capable of finding meaning for life without the supernatural.

  • you misunderstand, atheists don't believe in any god, at all(not some gods, all gods)!!You can't make your self an atheist to other Gods, number one because there is only one God, Jesus Christ, number two and I repeat is because an atheist doesn't believe in any God! and God is no "magic man" its sad that you think so because it means you can't see how infinity wonderful God is, our purpose in life is to serve God!

  • Obviously I do understand atheism, I am an atheist. You made a load of claims there, like yours is the only god, he's watching over me, etc. I'd love to know what you base those beliefs on? It's easy to say "god did it", but how can you back it up? And please, don't back it up with more assertions and untestable claims.

  • I said you lack faith, you said no that's atheism, now your saying you are an atheist, I'm confused doesn't that mean my previous statement does apply to you? and I didn't make a load of claims I made a load of statements, There is only "ONE"

God and he watches over us all, (including you though you may not know it) and they are very provable facts, read the bible, look around you, do you honestly think the world just "came" in to existence? that life just spontaneously created itself?

  • In regard to the origins of the universe, I'm comfortable saying I don't know. Anyone who claims to know would have to provide evidence to support their ideas. If you want to do so, go right ahead.

You say that god is a very provable fact. I'll remind you of what a fact is. It is an observable, for which their can be consensual validation. If it's "very provable", it shouldn't be a problem to meet those criteria. So let's hear the evidence, and please, no statements without supporting evidence

  • if life didn't spontaneously created itself them what did..?you say GOD.

then tell me isn't god a life form.?

so what ore who created god.

look around you, every thing is made in a circle of life and death.

something starts , lives and dies to make wy for the next birth.

this is not only the case whit humans but whit everything.

but to creat a god just because people don't understand?

  • I don't understand it eighter.

maybe there is a god, maybe there is no.

stop the fighting and just let things go as they should.

  • God created the world and everything in it, God created the circle of life and death. God always was and always will be, No one created God.

  • You can't prove God alwas has been and always will be. God itself does not know what it is or where it comes from. That is the ultimate question, the question without possible answer into infinity. For the entity that created God does not exist anymore and thus cannot answer.

  • God exists, and he will prove so to you when you are ready to accept him, I would try to convince you myself but I can see that would be pointless. Your heart and mind are shut off and because of that I can not prove Gods existence, If or when you are ready I would love to try and help, I am confident someday you will come around

  • I already know that God exists, and I have already accepted it. Just not in a way you would like. I'm not a follower of the big religions.

  • and if the bible said that pigs will one day spread out mystic wings and fly, would u believe that? =D

  • Oh that would make everything different, wouldn't it? XD

  • Uhhh you don't know god exists for sure, no one does, you THINK god exists and you would be wrong.

Such a powerful and omniscient god you would think it could show some proof of itself once in awhile.

  • If God created everything, that would include the realm of time, thus making God above time. If God is above time then he would not have a beginning nor an end. Since we were created in time, it is almost immposible to grasp this concept.

  • and don't say yours is the only God, Jesus Christ is your god to, though you may not know it.

    he is every ones God

  • The person you originally replied to was agnostic. I clarified by saying what atheism and agnosticism are. And I am an agnostic atheist.

Now, despite my instructions, you backed up your statements with more statements. I don't want statements or assertions, I want evidence. You can cite the bible all you want, but the fact that something is written down doesn't make it true. Furthermore the amounts of contradictions and inaccuracies in the bible is bound to raise eyebrows.

  • oh boy are you confused there is only only one kind of atheist, and thats the kind that doesn't believe in God with you just said you were, and might I point out that the bible is true 100 percent true my faith allows me to belive that

  • Yes, exactly, I do not believe in any gods. I don't know what you think we are disagreeing about. I understand that your faith allows you to believe it, but it also stops you from seeking evidence to find out if you're right or not. If you've thought a little critically, you could have found many historical inaccuracies that prove the bible is not 100% true. Something 100% true cant contradict itself. (If you don't think it does, look up the names of the apostles in each gospel, for example)

  • Try reading all of the gospels before you start throwing about evidences that Bible is false.

  • I do not mind if you think it has lies or is false but if your going to try to prove your point study a little bit and I do not mean on a bias website. The names of the Apostles were different in the Gospels because if you were to read it Jesus renamed many of them when he accepted/called them to be apostles. But the writers of the gospel sometimes referred to the names given to them by their parents and sometimes by the given to them by Jesus their rabbi. Which would have been customary.

  • the only reason your doing so well on "your own" is because God is watching over you

  • And just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean my existence is sad or lonely. I have plenty of meaning in my life. I'd argue the exact opposite. If you require a god to find meaning and things to stand for, I feel bad for you. Personally I'm able to find meaning for myself, rather than depending on a supernatural being to give me a purpose.

  • I am sorry if I offended you, these are just my beliefs and I would never try to force them on anyone

  • christian but that is losing its meaning to me. Christmas and easter rarely have any meaning anymore! to Athists, Christmas is a time for family to be together and share love. but I think that is what thanksgiving is for! what is the point of Easter to an athist? to celebrate spring? even that is getting into a religion celtic! idk im not a very good speller but that is just my take on things. I dont have a single problem with other religions, only when they try to take away from religon.

  • I'm Christian and I'm very proud to be Christian! I'm actually getting confirmed next month! I respect all religions but it is sad that this certain religion is decreasing in its numbers.

  • im from europ ...and i have to tell ya i dont like christians....got no problem whit jesus but christians did kill to many people in hes name...and whats this cross thing? if jesus would return i dont think he wants to see the cross again....lol

  • Just because someone calls them self a christian doesn't mean that they really are one, or that they understand. Following Jesus doesn't involve killing people...Some just found the religion useful to gain power over many people in wicked ways.

Because some "christians" have done very evil things does not mean you should dislike all christians. That logic isn't very sound.

  • why does america HAVE to be a christian nation?!

is it enough that we ARE nation?!?!

  • We have been a successful nation because God helped us get this far. "One nation, under God..." If we take Christianity out, we won't be as successful as we have been in our past.

  • how can you be sure of it?

  • Well, let's start at the founding of this nation. Against all odds, our developing country overcame the religious oppression it was receiving from England. The founding fathers (Washington, Lincoln, etc.) were men that served God. They were not capable of doing the great things they did without God. Because all people have free will, many countries do not serve God, and therefore their countries do not prosper. Not because He is mean, but because of their choice not to follow Him.

  • well i see u have a point

but wasnt the country founded on the belief of freedom of religion? so how can u say one religion is the almighty and powerful

i mean thats just an opinion

  • Isn't that an example of the early government trying to follow God's ways? God gave us the freedom to choose whether or not to serve Him. Our government gave us the ability to choose our beliefs and worship whomever or whatever we want, or not worship anything at all. However, nations who do not follow God will not prosper. Yes, I do firmly believe that Christianity is the right way, but I cannot force anyone to believe in it, and I don't intend to try. I can only post what I have observed.

  • lol it's funny how you're religion constantly tries to credit themselves with the success of our country. Your praying and gatherings waste energy, resources, and time on an ignorant establishment that prevents our society's progression and doesn't get taxed? That shows only a snippet of how you and religious idiots like you, are completely worthless.

  • We pay for the facilities we use. We pay for buildings or use of buildings, we pay the utilities we use, and we keep the buildings clean. It's not a free ride for us. Religion was the reason this country was formed. The people that came over here and established the US were tired of the religious oppression. They wanted to form a Christian church, and because they believed in freedom, they gave us freedom of religion. God did have His hand in the success of this nation.

  • yes i agree. we cannot just sit around and pray. we need to do something about this engergy crisis and all the other shit going on

  • i am christian

  • To many Christians today don't stick to the christian morals. They pick and choose the parts they like and don't like then wallow in their sin. I understand that no one is perfect, but if you are a christian, sin should not be a joy to you (like I see it is way to often.) I highly doubt that of the 75% of "Christians" that a majority is saved. I wish all the fakers would just leave the faith and come back when their ready to REALLY accept the lord and live the faith.

  • wars from this world is either religion or racism. why does people can respect each other. is that hard? just smile..

  • If it were not for religion, the world would be a better place.

  • I define religion as "form without power". As such it always dissapoints (Bill Johnson)

  • I find religion quite ridiculous. I believe its just a tool for people to credit their ignorance and intolarance on others. Many Christians are now persecuting gays, but in the same time they are sinning themselves by judging. Its not their job to judge others. And god also said that all sins are equal. So therefore, they are putting themselves in the same boat, by their own accord. But they conviently forget that part and continue using religion to destroy society and push us further backwards

  • The law is based on christian principles. I'll agree with that.

    Christian principles are based on...

The behaviours that held human society together for the many thousands of years prior to christianlty...

...that enabled the group behaviours that gave our ancestors the fitness to survive and thrive.

So yeah, Christianity is a nice distraction to that fact that our common laws are rooted in Darwinism.

  • I wasn't raised into any religion

but I've decided to be an Agnostic

but I'm keeping an open mind.

  • I don't exactly understand this video, but I'll say this. The reason christianity is on the decline is because it has been proven that god almost certainly does not exist. People simply can't continue to believe in this nonsense anymore, and the rest can't stand to pretend that they believe it anymore.

  • Nothing is proven. We don't know anything.

  • 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them." Today people don't want to understand. They are programmed by everything around them and dare not to find the truth. It's amazing how our time was foretold.

  • No people understand alright. We simply choose not to believe in something that has no logical standing. The simple fact that many Christians have their panties in a knot is proof enough that Christianity is based soley on fear, and that in order for it to succeed, it needs many people to lead blindly and do its bidding. If not, why do you are what I choose to believe. Why does it upset you so much, I'm going to hell? Well, I'll see you there in that case. Because we are all sinners, apparently.

  • That is where you are somebody's fool. You choose to base ideas on the actions of other people. When Jesus foretold that his own followers would turn on him before his second coming. There would only be a few that actually followed his ways. Instead of searching for the facts you judge by other peoples actions. I became a believer through understanding. Understand what truth is and try to unravel the lies and the truth that has been hidden.

  • Cute Darwin fish. :)

  • Religion is for steers and queers.

  • Well, Agnostic, borderline Pagan.

    Yeah, probably pagan.

  • We do not know what happens before birth. We do not know what happens after death. All we know is that we exist in this reality and every choice is our own.

Since we choose our actions, we must accept the possible consequences of our selected choices. Therefore I am God. You are God. My cat is God.

  • Agreed.

It's time people take responsibility for their actions instead of pinning everything on their religion.

  • There's so much violence in the bible and quran. Can't we adopt a more peaceful religion and god that we can actually see do good....like for example - the sun. I can see it, feel it and witness it's blessings. Let's call this religion Suntology. Scientists already have thousands of scrolls written on the power of Suntology. We can put it together and make one huge book. No one will be able to discredit it like the bibble and quran.

Whatta say? The Sun created everything? hmmm?

  • not religious =P
