Yo this song takes me back to the good ole days. I use to hang out with these cats. I went to high-school with Smooth K and Grand Puba (from the Krown Rulers).. And I was kicking it with LA Kid when him, Tone and Mitch lived in Cherry Hill. They wound up relocating to Chestnut Hill and I was still kicking with them. We did a lot of crazy stuff back then. I miss them guys. On their worst day, they were a lot of fun to be around.i Got a lot of good memories thinking about them and that era.
@cablepiratez Yo seriously!!!! Who is this??? Chioke!!! I remember him. I ain't seen that cat in like 20 years. OMG... I use to go over his crib off of Westfield Ave when we were in high school.... You really taking me back now....smh... Now that's a blast from the past....
There was a 'hiphouse' video of my parta town on youtube once. It's gone now though. Interesting as I never new they did the remix. I love Tuff Crew. They were more important to me than even P.E! I never did hear any off Icedog's solo stuff. Anyone got any?
Tuff crew represents that real Philly Flava for real. They make me miss the good ol days when I was in junior high in Shoemaker and in High School in Overbrook. Philly stand up.
too tuff just pass by my house and gave me the new album they came out for 2008 is called tuff crew dj too tuff`s lost archives go buy it plz support is OFFICIAL DAM ALL UNRELEASE TRACKS FIRE YA GOTTA GO BUY NOW GO HURRY UP IS CRAZY YOU GOTTA RESPECT THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND DJ TOO TUFF AND ICE DOG ARE MY FRIENDS THEY ALWAYS PASS BY THE HOUSE IM GONNA GET SOME NEW FOOTAGE FROM THEM JUST TALKING ABOUT WHAT THEY DOING NOW...
the original crew members were icedog la kid tone love dj too tuff ant the hype man was monty g i know this first hand because i grew up with them down north philly
Fuckin bravo!!!! I had this on one of my old Yo! MTV Raps tapes and been lookin for it for years! Why can't shit like this come around again? Compare this to the shit on the radio today. What the fuck happened?
What happened? Bozos like Kid Frost, Vanilla Ice and Special Ed came along, and rap started appealing to the mainstream/masses/ ethnic groups. Majors and commercial success killed quality rap, e.g. pre-1990.
Great track. But the best post Tone Luv Tuff Crew song is Flippin Keeloz by the Danger Zone Mobb Squad! If someone out there has this video please post it.
cootlove...this ain't TOO TUFF & his Philly Crew. Do ya homework. there's no Tone Love & 2Tuff in this - that's Smooth K & BrownBum. i found BrownBum on you tube - search his name.
omg this iz my daughter sayin that tone is her dad which he is. but my daughter goes on my account and im her mom so if yu hear tht tone is her dad he is but im his wife
do my homework - pay attention - this IS tuff crew of course - @ the time - tone & too tuff were not in the group. the rappers in this video are ice dog - l.a. kidd & smooth k - the dj is BrownBum (then known as cutzology).
